Screen Cleaning & General Care
Do not use solvents when cleaning the screen as they may cause damage; clean with a
soft cloth. Do not expose the Monitor to wet/damp/humid, dusty, or excessively hot or
cold environments or leave it in direct sunlight. Make sure all connections are free of dirt
and debris at all times. Do not block vents. Only use the supplied power supply. Turn
power off when not in use.
NOTE: The HDMC3 will not work directly connected to HD Analog Cameras or
anything that uses proprietary encoding.
Quick Start K START GUI
How to display video
Plug the AC adapter into a wall outlet, and then connect it to the HDMC3. The HDMC3
will automatically turn the screen on and attempt to show video. Next, connect your
video source to the appropriate connection on the top of the HDMC3. If you see a “No
Signal” message on the screen, press the Input Selector button on the top to access that
menu, then press it again to scroll through the AV, BNC, HDMI, and VGA options. Once
you have highlighted the connection type you are using, press one of the Arrow buttons
to select it. Your video should now display.
Adjusting brightness, contrast, etc.
Press the Screen Controls Menu button to access the menu. There will be four primary
icons on the top row—a Color Wheel icon, a Speaker icon, a Screen Shift icon, and an
Advanced Settings icon (the one with the clock). Use the Left and Right Arrow buttons to
highlight/ select one of the menus. Then use the Input Selector button to scroll down the
list of Settings. When you have highlighted the setting you want to adjust, use the Arrow
buttons to make the change. Once you have made the change, select the Screen Controls
button again to save it.
IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT POWER & CHARGING THE BATTERY
There is a built-in rechargeable battery. Therefore, leaving the Battery Engage/Disengage
Switch in the ON position will drain the battery even when the screen is not ON. Be sure
to turn off the Battery Engage/Disengage Switch during transport or when the HDMC3 is
not in use. Always use the AC power adapter if you set up the HDMC3 in a permanent
location, or plan to run it continuously for more than an hour.

Monitor Stand Installation
TOOLS
You will need a long, narrow flat-head screwdriver that has a magnetic tip. You will also
need to be in a well-lit area.
Step 1: Unboxing & Parts**
The stand ships in two separate pieces—the Base and the Tilt Adjuster—and must be
assem-bled before use. Remove both parts from your case. The Base is the piece with a
bottom that is shaped like a boomreang. The Tilt Adjuster is the piece that has the
rectangular piece of metal mounted on a black plastic circle with a piece of rubber in
between.
Step 2: Removing the Screws and Mounting the Tilt Adjuster to the Base
Remove the screws from the Tilt Adjuster using the flat-head screwdriver. Then, flip the
Base over and place the neck of the Base into the Tilt Adjuster. Line up the screw holes,
then use the screws to connect the two pieces.
Step 3: Mounting the Screen Onto the Stand
Place the Base upright on the table with the feet of the stand facing you. Verify there is
no slack between the Base and the Tilt Adjuster (the connection should be tight; the Tilt
Adjuster may move left and right slightly, but should not have any ability to move up or
down.) Take the HDCM Monitor and look at the back of it. Below the label on the back
of the unit, you will see a slot cut out of the metal case. Place the rectangular piece of
metal on the TIlt Adjuster into that slot.
Step 4: Tighten Tilt Adjuster Against the Monitor
Now that the Monitor is mounted onto the Tilt Adjuster, use the wheel on the Tilt
Adjuster to tighten the connection to the Monitor until the connection is tight enough
that the monitor will not fall out if the stand is picked up and flipped upside down (be
sure to be careful when you are testing this in case you haven’t tightened it down
enough).
Step 5: Tilt Adjustments
To complete the adjustments, loosen the Tilt Up/Down bolt, manually move the Monitor
to the desired viewing angle, and then re-tighten the Tilt Up/Down bolt.
