Introduction
This instruction manual is for users of the TRUST 525U POWER MASTER. Please contact one of the
Trust Customer Care Centers if you have any problems.
- The TRUST 525U POWER MASTER is used to protect your electrical equipment against
voltage peaks which may occur in the electricity network.
This device meets the essential requirements and other relevant conditions of the applicable European
directives. The Declaration of Conformity (DoC) is available at www.trust.com/13592/ce.
Safety
1. Do not use this device near water.
2. Extremely high voltages as caused, for example, by a lightning strike can damage this device,
although the safety of any devices connected to it will still be guaranteed. Do not try to repair
the Power Master if it becomes damaged.
3. Do not use this device if the plug, the cable or the housing is damaged, or if any liquid has
entered the device.
4. Only connect this device to an earthed plug socket.
5. Never load the Power Master with more than the maximum amperage (10 A).
If overloaded, the device will become defective and will no longer work. The warranty will then
no longer be valid.
Connecting
Note: If you use a USB hub with an external power adapter, do not connect
the power supply to the Power Master. It is recommended to connect
the Power Master to a free USB port on your computer instead of to a
USB hub.
Function Description
A PC Socket Connect your computer’s power cable here.
B ‘On/Off switchable by
PC power’ sockets
Connect all your other computer devices or other electrical devices here.
C ON / OFF switch Turns the Power Master on and off.
D USB cable Cable for connecting the Power Master to a free USB port on your
computer.
E RJ11 connection IN Voltage peak protection connection for the telephone line.
F RJ11 connection OUT Voltage peak protection connection for a telephone, fax or modem.
G USB connections Connect the USB cable which is connected to your computer here. The
other connection can be used for connecting another USB device.
Use
1. Connect the Power Master to an earthed plug socket.
2. Connect one end of the USB cable provided with the Power Master (D, figure 1) to the USB port on
the Power Master (G, figure 2) and the other end to a free USB port on your computer.
3. Connect your computer’s power cable to the PC Socket (A, figure 1).
4. Connect an electrical device to one of the Power Master’s other sockets (B, figure 1).
5. Connect the telephone line for your telephone, modem or fax to connection E (see figure 2) and your
telephone, modem or fax to connection F (see figure 2).
6. The Power Master has an extra USB port (G, figure 2). This allows you to use your USB port
optimally.
7. Turn the Power Master on using the On/Off switch (C, figure 1). The red light next to the switch will
be lit.
8. The Power Master is now ready for use.
Note: The extra USB port and the ‘On/Off switchable by PC power’ sockets on the
Power Master only work if your computer’s USB port is enabled.

Sicherheitshinweise
1. Benutzen Sie dieses Gerät nicht in der Nähe von Wasser.
2. Durch extrem hohe Spannungswerte, z.B. bei einem Blitzschlag, kann das Gerät beschädigt
werden (das ist auch beabsichtigt), die Sicherheit der angeschlossenen Apparatur bleibt
jedoch auch dann gewährleistet. Versuchen Sie im Falle eines Defekts nicht, den Power
Master zu reparieren.
3. Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht mehr, wenn: der Stecker oder das Kabel beschädigt ist,
Feuchtigkeit in das Gerät eingetreten ist, das Gehäuse beschädigt wurde.
4. Schließen Sie das Gerät ausschließlich an eine geerdete Steckdose an.
5. Belasten Sie den Power Master nie stärker als bis zur gesamten maximal zulässigen
Stromstärke (10 A).
Im Falle von Überlastung erleidet das Gerät bleibenden Schaden und wird unbrauchbar.
Außerdem verfällt in diesem Fall die Garantie.
Anschließen
HINWEIS: Wenn Sie einen USB-Hub mit externem Netzadapter verwenden,
sollten Sie diesen NICHT als Stromversorgung für den Power Master
nutzen. Wir empfehlen, den Power Master direkt an den USB-Port des
Computers und nicht an einen USB-Hub anzuschließen.

Modem.
G USB-Anschlüsse Schließen Sie hier das vom Computer kommende USB-Kabel an. Der
andere Anschluss kann zum Anschließen eines zweiten USB-Geräts
verwendet werden.
Verwendung
1. Schließen Sie den Power Master an eine geerdete Steckdose an.
2. Schließen Sie das mitgelieferte USB-Kabel (siehe Abb. 1, Punkt D) an den USB-Anschluss des
Power Masters (siehe Abb. 2, Punkt G) an und stecken Sie das andere Ende des Kabels in einen
freien USB-Port des Computers.
3. Schließen Sie das Stromversorgungskabel an die PC-Steckdose (Abb. 1, Punkt A) an.
4. Schließen Sie das gewünschte Gerät an einen der übrigen Ausgänge (siehe Abb.1, Punkt B) des
Power Masters an.
5. Schließen Sie die Telefon-, Modem- oder Faxleitung an Anschluss E in Abb. 2 an und das Telefon,
Modem oder Faxgerät an Anschluss F in Abb. 2.
6. Der Power Master verfügt noch über einen zusätzlichen USB-Anschluss (siehe Abb. 2, Punkt G).
Dadurch können Sie Ihren USB-Port noch optimal nutzen.
7. Drücken Sie auf den Ein/Aus-Schalter (Abb. 1, Punkt C). Die rote Lampe neben dem Schalter fängt
an zu leuchten.
8. Ihr Power Master ist betriebsbereit.
HINWEIS: Der extra USB-Anschluss und die „on/off switchable by PC power“.
Anschlüsse des Power Masters funktionieren nur, wenn der USB-Port des
PC eingeschaltet ist.

- Le « TRUST 525U POWER MASTER » s’utilise pour protéger vos appareils électriques contre
les pointes de tension qui peuvent survenir sur le secteur.
Ce produit répond aux exigences essentielles et autres dispositions pertinentes des directives

Sécurité
1. N’utilisez pas cet appareil à proximité d’eau.
2. En cas de surtension extrême (par exemple sous l’effet de la foudre), cet appareil peut
également tomber en panne, même si la protection des appareils branchés reste garantie
(conformément au but même de cet appareil). Si le Power Master est défectueux, n’essayez
pas de le réparer.
3. N’utilisez plus cet appareil si : la prise est abîmée, le câble est abîmé, du liquide est tombé
dans l’appareil, le boîtier est abîmé.
4. Branchez cet appareil uniquement sur une prise à la terre.
5. Ne chargez jamais le Power Master avec un ampérage supérieur à l’ampérage maximum total
(10 A).
En cas de surcharge, l’appareil tombera en panne et sera inutilisable. Dans ce cas, la garantie
ne sera plus valable.
Connexion
ATTENTION : Si vous utilisez un hub USB avec un adaptateur d’alimentation
externe, ne connectez PAS cette alimentation au Power Master. Nous
vous recommandons de connecter le Power Master directement au
port USB de l’ordinateur au lieu d’un hub USB.

ordinateur. L’autre prise peut servir à la connexion d’un autre appareil
USB.
Utilisation
1. Raccordez le Power Master à une prise reliée à la terre.
2. Connectez le câble USB accompagnant le produit (voir Fig. 1, point D) à la prise USB du Power
Master (voir Fig.2, point G) et insérez l’autre extrémité dans un port USB libre de votre ordinateur.
3. Connectez le cordon d’alimentation de votre ordinateur au PC Socket (Fig. 1, point A).
4. Branchez l’appareil de votre choix sur l’une des autres prises (voir Fig. 1, point B) du Power Master.
5. Connectez la ligne téléphonique de votre téléphone, modem ou fax à la prise E de la Fig. 2 et votre
téléphone, modem ou fax à la prise F de la Fig. 2.
6. Le Power Master est doté d’un port USB supplémentaire (voir Fig. 2, point G). Ceci permet d’utiliser
votre port USB de façon encore plus optimale.
7. Activez le commutateur ON / OFF (Fig.1, point C). Le témoin rouge à côté du commutateur s’allume.
8. Votre Power Master est prêt à l’emploi.
ATTENTION : Le port USB supplémentaire et les sorties « on/off switchable by PC power »
du Power Master ne fonctionne que si le port USB de votre PC est activé.

Norme di sicurezza

fulmini) l’apparecchio può danneggiarsi, anche se ciò non pregiudica in alcun caso la garanzia

in cui il prodotto “Power Master” si dovesse danneggiare, non tentare di ripararlo.
3. Non utilizzare più l’apparecchio qualora: la spina sia danneggiata, il cavo sia danneggiato,
siano penetrati dei liquidi all’interno dell'apparecchio e/o l’alloggiamento risulti danneggiato.
4. Collegare l'apparecchio unicamente a una presa di corrente messa a terra.
5. Non sovraccaricare mai il prodotto “Power Master” più di quanto permetta la sua intensità di
corrente massima totale (10 A).
Se sovraccaricato l’apparecchio può danneggiarsi e non risultare più utilizzabile. Ciò
pregiudica anche la durata della garanzia.
Collegamento
ATTENZIONE: nel caso in cui si utilizzi uno hub USB dotato di alimentatore esterno,
NON collegare l’alimentazione al prodotto “Power Master”. Si
consiglia di collegare il prodotto “Power Master” direttamente alla
porta USB del computer invece che a uno HUB USB.

Utilizzo
1. Collegare il prodotto “Power Master“unicamente a una presa di corrente messa a terra.
2. Collegare il cavo USB fornito in dotazione al prodotto (fig. 1, punto D) alla presa di collegamento
USB del prodotto “Power Master” (fig. 2, punto G), provvedendo a inserire l’altro capo del cavo in
una porta USB disponibile del computer.
3. Collegare il cavo di alimentazione del computer alla presa “PC Socket” (fig. 1, punto A).
4. Collegare la periferica desiderata a una delle altre prese di collegamento (fig. 1, punto B) del
prodotto “Power Master”.
5. Collegare la linea telefonica in entrata dell’apparecchio telefonico, del modem o del fax alla presa di
collegamento E (fig. 2) e l’apparecchio telefonico, il modem o il fax alla presa di collegamento F (fig.
2).
6. Il prodotto “Power Master” dispone di una porta USB aggiuntiva (fig. 2, punto G). Ciò permette di
utilizzare la porta USB in maniera ottimale.
7. Premere l’interruttore di ACCESO / SPENTO (fig. 1, punto C): la spia rossa presenta accanto
all’interruttore si attiverà.
8. Il prodotto “Power Master” è adesso pronto all'uso.
ATTENZIONE: le porte USB aggiuntive e le uscite “on/off switchable by PC power” del
prodotto “Power Master” funzionano soltanto se la porta USB del PC è attiva.

tensión que se pueden producir en la red eléctrica.

Normas de seguridad
1. No utilice este aparato cerca del agua.
2. Las tensiones extremamente altas, como las ocasionadas por ejemplo por la caída de un
rayo, pueden estropear este aparato, aunque en este caso la seguridad de los dispositivos
conectados esté garantizada. Si el Power Master 525U se estropeara, no intente repararlo
usted mismo.
3. No utilice este aparato si: la clavija o el cable están dañados, ha entrado algún líquido en el
aparato o se ha dañado la caja.
4. Conecte este aparato únicamente a un enchufe con toma de tierra.
5. Nunca cargue el POWER MASTER 525U con más del amperaje máximo total (10 A).
El aparato se estropeará por la sobrecarga y dejará de funcionar. Asimismo, la garantía
caducará por ello.
Conexión
NOTA: Si utiliza un HUB USB con un adaptador de corriente externo, NO
conecte la corriente al Power Master. Le aconsejamos conectar el

Utilización
1. Conecte el Power Master a un enchufe con toma de tierra.

5. Conecte la línea telefónica, el módem o fax a la conexión E de la fig. 2 o a la conexión F.
6. El Power Master tiene otro puerto USB adicional (véase la fig. 2, punto G). Esto le permite hacer un

Zasady bezpieczeństwa

Podłączenie

Użytkowanie
1. Podłącz listwęPower Master do gniazdka z uziemieniem.

4. Podłącz wybrane urządzenie do jednego z pozostałych złączy (patrz rys. 1, punkt B) listwy
zasilającej Power Master.
5. Podłącz liniętelefonicznąswojego telefonu, modemu albo faksu do złącza E (rys. 2). Aparat
telefonniczny, modem lub faks podłącz do złącza F (rys. 2).
6. Listwa zasilająca Power Master jest wyposażona w dodatkowy port USB (patrz rys. 2, punkt G).
Dzięki temu można optymalnie wykorzystaćport USB.
7. Naciśnij przycisk włączający urządzenie (rys. 1, punkt C). Czerwona lampka obok przełącznika

Deze handleiding is bedoeld voor gebruikers van de ‘TRUST 525U POWER MASTER’. Raadpleeg bij

- De ‘TRUST 525U POWER MASTER’ is te gebruiken als beveiliging voor uw apparatuur tegen
spanningspieken die in het elektriciteitsnet voor kunnen komen.
Dit product voldoet aan de essentiële eisen en aan de overige relevante bepalingen van de geldende

Veiligheid
1. Gebruik dit apparaat niet in de nabijheid van water.
2. Door extreem hoge spanningen, bij bijvoorbeeld blikseminslag kan dit apparaat defect raken,
hoewel de veiligheid van de aangesloten apparatuur ook dan gewaarborgd is (dit is ook de
bedoeling). Mocht de Power Master defect raken, probeer hem dan niet te repareren.
3. Gebruik dit apparaat niet meer als: de stekker is beschadigd, het snoer is beschadigd, er
vloeistof in het apparaat terechtgekomen is, de behuizing is beschadigd.
4. Sluit dit apparaat alleen aan op een geaard stopcontact.
5. Belast de Power Master nooit meer dan het totale maximale ampèrage (10A).
Door overbelasting zal het apparaat defect raken en niet meer te gebruiken zijn. Hierdoor komt
tevens de garantie te vervallen.
Aansluiting
LET OP: Indien u gebruik maakt van een USB hub met externe
voedingsadapter, sluit dan deze voeding NIET aan op de Power
Master. Wij raden u aan op de Power Master direct aan te sluiten op de
USB poort van de computer in plaats van op een USB HUB.

Gebruik
1. Sluit de Power Master aan op een geaard stopcontact.
2. Sluit de meegeleverde USB kabel (zie fig. 1, punt D) aan op de USB-aansluiting van de Power
Master (zie fig. 2, punt G) en het andere uiteinde stopt u in een vrije USB poort van uw computer.
3. Sluit de Power kabel van uw computer aan op de PC Socket (fig. 1, punt A).
4. Sluit het gewenste apparaat aan op één van de andere aansluitingen (zie fig. 1, punt B) van de
Power Master.
5. Sluit de telefoonlijn van uw telefoon, modem of fax aan op aansluiting E van fig. 2 en uw
telefoon, modem of fax aan op aansluiting F van fig. 2.
6. De Power Master heeft nog een extra USB poort (zie fig. 2, punt G). Hierdoor kunt u uw USB
poort nog optimaal gebruiken.
7. Klik de AAN / UIT schakelaar aan (fig. 1, punt C). Het rode lampje naast de schakelaar gaat rood
branden.
8. Uw Power Master is klaar voor gebruik.
LET OP: De extra USB poort en de “on/off switchable by PC power” uitgangen van de
Power Master werken alleen als de USB poort van uw PC is ingeschakeld.

Utilização
1. Conecte o Power Master a uma tomada com terra.
2. Conecte o cabo USB incluído (veja a fig. 1, ponto D) à conexão USB do Power Master (veja a fig. 2,
ponto G) e conecte o outro extremo a uma porta USB disponível do seu computador.
3. Conecte o cabo de alimentação do seu computador ao socket veja a fig. 1, ponto A).
4. Conecte o aparelho desejado a uma das outras conexões (veja a fig. 1, ponto B) do
Power Master
5. Conecte a sua linha de telefone, fax ou modem à conexão E da figura 2 e o seu
telefone, modem ou fax à conexão F da fig. 2.
6. O Power Master dispõe de uma porta USB adicional (veja a fig. 2, ponto G) Assim continua a usar
optimamente a sua porta USB.
7. Ligue o interruptor LIGAR / DESLIGAR (figura 1, ponto C). A luz vermelha ao lado do interruptor
acende-se.
8. O seu Power Master está pronto para uso.
ATENÇÃO: A porta USB adicional e as saídas "on/off switchable by PC power" do Power
Master só funcionam se a porta USB do seu PC estiver activada.

Aσφάλεια
1. Μη χρησιµοποιείτε αυτή τη συσκευή κοντά σε νερό.

3. Μην χρησιµοποιείτε τη συσκευή εάν: το φις παρουσιάζει ζηµιά, το καλώδιο παρουσιάζει ζηµιά,
κάποιο υγρό έχει εισχωρήσει στη συσκευή, το κέλυφος έχει υποστεί ζηµιά.
4. Συνδέστε τη συσκευή µόνο σε γειωµένη πρίζα.
5. Μη συνδέετε στη συσκευή Power Master ποτέ φορτίο µεγαλύτερο από τη µέγιστη τιµήέντασης
ρεύµατος που προδιαγράφεται (10A). Τυχόν υπερφόρτωση καταστρέφει οριστικά τη συσκευή.
Σε τέτοια περίπτωση, ηεγγύηση παύει να ισχύει.
Σύνδεση
ΠΡΟΣΟΧΗ: Αν χρησιµοποιείτε hub USB µεεξωτερικό τροφοδοτικό, ΜΗΝ συνδέετε
το τροφοδοτικό στη συσκευή Power Master. Σας συνιστούµενα

Acest manual de instrucţiuni este destinat utilizatorilor produsului TRUST 525U POWER MASTER. Vă
rugăm săluaţi legătura cu unul dintre Centrele Trust de Asistenţă pentru Clienţi dacăîntâmpinaţi
probleme.
- TRUST 525U POWER MASTER este utilizat pentru a proteja aparatura dumneavoastră
electricăde vârfurile de tensiune care pot apărea în reţeaua de distribuţie a energiei electrice.
Acest dispozitiv îndeplineşte cerinţele esenţiale şi celelalte condiţii relevante prevăzute în directivele

Utilizarea
7. Conectaţi Power Master la o prizăcu pământare.
8. Conectaţi unul din capetele cablului USB furnizat împreunăcu Power Master (D, figura 1) la portul
USB al Power Master (G, figura 2) iar celălalt capăt la un port USB liber de pe calculatorul
dumneavoastră.
9. Conectaţi cablul de alimentare al calculatorului dumneavoastrăla priza pentru calculator (A, figura
1).
10.Conectaţi un aparat electric la una din celelalte prize ale Power Master (B, figura 1).
11.Conectaţi linia telefonicăa telefonului, modem-ului sau fax-ului dumneavoastrăla conexiunea E
(vezi figura 2), iar telefonul, modem-ul sau fax-ul, la conexiunea F (vezi figura 2).
12.Power Master dispune de un port USB suplimentar (G, figura 2). Acesta văpermite săutilizaţi în
mod optim portul dumneavoastrăUSB.
7. Porniţi Power Master cu ajutorul comutatorului pornire/oprire (C, figura 1). Se va aprinde lumina
roşie de lângăcomutator.
8. Power Master este acum gata de utilizare.
Notă: Portul USB suplimentar şi prizele comutabile ale Power Master funcţionează
numai dacăportul USB al calculatorului dumneavoastrăeste activat.

- Our products have a two-year manufacturer's warranty which is effective from the date of purchase.
- If there is a fault, return the product to your dealer and include an explanation of the fault, the proof
of purchase and all the accessories.
- During the warranty period, you will receive a similar model, if one is available. If no similar product
is available, your product will be repaired.
- Please contact our help desk for missing components, such as the instruction manual, software or
other components.
- The warranty becomes invalid if the product is opened, if there is mechanical damage, if the product
has been misused, if alterations have been made to the product, if the product has been repaired by
a third party, in the case of negligence or if the product has been used for a purpose other than that
originally intended.
- Excluded from the warranty:
