INSTALLATION GUIDE
Thank you for purchasing the wireless router and
mounting kit (TSI P/N 801903 and 801908) for your
DustTrak™Environmental Monitor. These instructions
will help you quickly install the wireless router into the
enclosure.
Unpacking the Wireless Router
Accessories
1. Carefully unpack the Wireless Router and Mounting
Kit from the shipping container and verify that all the
items listed in the following table are present.
2. Contact TSI immediately if items are missing or
broken.
3. Configuration of the wireless router and DustTrak
Environmental Monitor Ethernet IP address should
be completed prior to starting this installation
procedure.
NOTE: Instrument power supply should be
disconnected prior to starting this
installation procedure.

Installing Wireless Router into
the Environmental Enclosure
1. Feed the female
end of the SMA-
cable through
the hole in the
fitting that is on
the top of the
enclosure.
2. Secure the
antenna post to
the fitting by
pushing it down.
3. Connect USB
cable, RJ45
cable and power
cable to the
Environmental
DustTrak
Aerosol Monitor.
4. Remove blue liner and
attach a 3M®
Command®brand strip
to the back of the
wireless router. Be
sure not to cover the
vent holes. Refer to
the Command®brand
strip box for additional
instructions.
5. Remove black
liner and attach
wireless router
to the front plate
of the DustTrak
Aerosol Monitor
as shown.
6. Connect USB cable, RJ45 cable and antenna cable
to the wireless router. Connect the RJ45 cable to
LAN port on the router.

7. Connect AC power cord
to the side of the
enclosure.
8. Connect the other end of
the power cord to an AC
main terminal. The blue
light on the DustTrak
monitor will illuminate,
indicating the instrument
has power. After two (2)
minutes, the red and
green LEDs on the
wireless router will also
illuminate.
