CLEANING THE BLADE
1. Grasp the cutting end of the blade assembly and push the blade
away from the clipper. (See Fig. 4)
2. Clean the appliance and blade with the cleaning brush.
3. Drop 2-3 drops of lubricant on the rubbing surface on the moving
blade (a light film of oil) and where the blade rubs against the
stationary nylon tension pad.
4. To re-assemble, reverse the above procedure, pushing the blade
until it firmly clicks back into its position.

BEFORE USING
■Please charge battery overnight, once green light is on, this means
battery is fully charged.
■Orange light indicates battering is still charging.
■The battery can be charged many times.
■To maintain the best quality of battery, we recommend to charge and
fully discharge at least once a month, even if it wont be used for a
long time.
DURING USE
■Please make sure you oil your blades before, during and after use.
AFTER USE
■Make sure switch is at "off" position, before use.
■After each use, please ensure that blades are lubricated.

WARRANTY
The Shear Magic Tuffy 2000 Cordless is
covered for a period of 1 year from date
of purchase against any manufacturing
fault.
All products for repair under warranty
must have proof of purchase (copy of
receipt) No Proof – No Warranty.
The clipper that is sent in for warranty
that is over 6 months old and up to 12
months old, warranty parts will be
replaced but where the product has
done a lot of work, a service charge
will be charged.
This clipper must be repaired by an
authorised service agent only, if
repaired by other then this will not be
covered under warranty. e.g pulled
apart or fitted with non-genuine parts.
Unless returned clipper is "new" our
policy is to re-sharpen all clipper blades.
Reason on return clippers may not cut
due to blunt blades. These will be
charged out accordingly.
All inward freight/postage is to be paid
by the customer.
If repaired under warranty we will post it
back postage paid. If not warranty,
return freight will be charged.

All Shear Magic clippers come with a full one year warranty from date of purchase against any
manufacturing fault.
As you would expect, the warranty does not cover the following:
■ Normal wearing parts.
■ Repairs or disassembly attempted by anyone other than an authorised service centre.
■ Repairs made due to normal wear and tear, abuse, improper maintenance,or dropping.
■ Any alterations made to the tool.
■ Damage due to blade coolants or other chemicals.
■ Damage resulting from shipping or transit.
For warranty work, send proof of purchase or receipt along with equipment to the place of purchase.

it is not a common or easy to solve problem.
Inward postage is to be paid by the customer. Return postage will be paid on all warranty repairs. As
part of all repairs, blades will also be sharpened for a nominal charge, as this is the most common
cause of poor performance.

When returning the product for service or warranty please ensure the following:
■Postage is prepaid
■Use sturdy packaging to protect the product against damage in
transit - such damage is not covered by the warranty
■Include your name, address and proof of purchase
■Provide a detailed description of the fault
■When sending a clipper do send the blades - but not attached to the clipper to avoid
damage in transit.

Warranty registration on the internet or via return of the warranty registration card is required
within 30 days (thirty days) of the purchase date for coverage of the equipment. Register
