INSTALLATION
Please read these instructions carefully.
Note before you proceed with the
installation of this product that the
manufacturer’s guideline has to be
respected. Failure to comply to instructions
and designed operation of this product,
may void the warranty.
Your product has been carefully packaged
at the factory to prevent damage during
shipping. However, occasional damage
may occur due to rough handling. Carefully
inspect your product for damages that could
cause failures. Report any damage to your
carrier or your point of purchase.
SAFETY INTRUCTIONS:
Before installation and operation, follow these
procedures:
1- Check with your local electrical and
plumbing codes to ensure you comply with
the regulations. These codes have been
designed with your safety in mind. Be sure
you comply with them.
2- Do not submerge motor or allow maotor to
be exposed to water. Personal injury and/or
death could result.
3- This pump model becomes very hot during
operation.
4- Do not pump gasoline or other explosive
liquids. Do not operate pump where
ammable or explosive fumes or gases are
present as a re or explosion could result.
PRIOR TO ANY USE CHECK-UP:
A- Inspect the pump for any obvious condition
that necessitates cleaning, correction,
adjustement or repair.
B- Clear the water source and the surroundings
of any paper, leaves or other debris that
might clog the input openings. Remove
anything that might oat into the suction
area.
C- Assure that the pump is secure for proper
operation.
D- Assure that there is adequate clearance from
any combustible materials or structure.
Stored materials must be kept away from
the pump. Shelves or cabinet structures must
not be in close proximity over the pump.
E- Observe that the plumbing can distribute the
pumped water safely to the discharge point.
IMPORTANT INFORMATIONS:
1- The automatic thermal overload protection
shuts the motor o when it overheats.
Normally, motor cools and restarts
automatically.
2- If this pump is used for pumping abrasive
liquids such as lake water, keep inlet above
mud and sand. Any abrasive liquids will
damage the pump and void warranty.
3- This pump will handle most common water-
based liquids at temperatures of 35°F to
100°F (1°C to 38°C). Thick liquids, fuels
(gasoline, etc) or any other liquids including
petroleum products, or other ammable
liquids, solvents, thinners and strong acids
are totally prohibited and will void warranty.
4- This unit have been designed to pump
water only. This unit is not designed for
applications involving salt water, brine. Use
with salt, brine will void warranty.
5- Use 1/2’’ (13mm) minimum pipe. Note that
best performance occurs when the suction
line is as short as possible and close to the
water source. For any lines of 40’ or longer,
install a 3/4’’ discharge (19mm) pipe size.
6- The motor is drip-proof but not waterproof.
7- Never add oil to motor.
INSTALLATION STEPS:
STEP 1
Fill the inlet pipe with liquid after installing the
foot valve.
STEP 2
Install the suctionline, then connect the
discharge line.
STEP 3
Install on a 12 volt battery, or another acceptable
power source.
STEP 4
Unplug pump whenn liquid supply is exhausted.
Running the pump dry will damage the pump
body.
NOTICE:
Never run this pump dry.
