TROUBLESHOOTING:
1: The Ultimate Predator Adventure Cam ’s waterproof housing is manufactured with a protective film over the
clear lens. This is part of the m anufacturing process, and is not applied to the housing after m anufacturing.
If you think that your lens is scratched, or your im ages are cloudy, please make sure that you have removed that
protective film from the housing. – Dig at it with your thum bnail, don’t be shy, you won’t scratch the lens…
2: MicroSD Cards -IM PORTAN T - The biggest issue we encounter is people using cheap, knock-off cards.
The MicroSD Card is a very im portant part of the cam era. This is NOT something that you should skim p on.
Make sure you use only high quality MicroSD cards class 10 or greater. - Do not use a card greater than 32gb.
3: The Ultimate Predator Adventure Cam has 2 power saving features in the settings, the Screen Saver and the
Power Saver.
Screen Saver: Will turn off the LCD display on the rear of the camera after whatever time interval you choose.
Power Saver: Will turn off the camera entirely after the time interval you choose. When powered off, the Zoom will
reset to 0, the wrist remote will not activate the cam era, nor will the LaMax app on your phone.
4: If you’re unable to get your computer to recognize the camera, there are a couple of options.
-Plug the camera into the USB port on your com puter while the camera is off.
-Turn the cam era on first and then plug it into the the USB port on your computer.
W ith the vast num ber of different com puters and software/driver configurations out there, it is im possible to be
specific to your com puter setup. The cam era should not require any special drivers or software. If your com puter
will not recognize the cam era, you m ay need to access the Micro SD Card directly by placing it into a card reader
on your com puter (W ith an adapter if necessary).
5: If your cam era is not retaining the date and tim e, you will w ant to go into the settings – 1) reset the cam era to
Factory settings. 2) re-set the date and tim e. 3) form at the S D card (THIS W ILL DELETE ALL DATA ON THE
CARD). 4) turn off the cam era and rem ove the battery for about 10 seconds.
You can find additional troubleshooting, tips, and how-to
Videos at www.Ultim atePredatorGear.Com /Support
6: Please Note: If you are using a memory card that has been previously used and formatted in
another device, You Must reformat before using in your Adventure Cam. To do this simply insert
