Mount  ng locat  on should be at least 60 cm (2 ft) from the edge of the eave or
ce  l  ng.
Cable feed must be po  nted downwards when wall-mounted.
Sh  elded Category 5 (or above) cabl  ng w  th dra  n w  re should be used for all
outdoor w  red Ethernet connect  ons and should be grounded through the AC
ground of the PoE.
We recommend that you protect your networks from harmful outdoor env  ronments
and destruct  ve ESD events w  th  ndustr  al-grade, sh  elded Ethernet cable from
Ub  qu  t  . For more deta  ls, v  s  t u  .com/toughcable
Surge protect  on should be used for all outdoor  nstallat  ons. We recommend that
you use two Ethernet Surge Protectors, model ETH-SP-G2, one near the UVC G3
Dome and the other at the entry po  nt to the bu  ld  ng. The ETH-SP-G2 w  ll absorb
power surges and safely d  scharge them  nto the ground.

For outdoor  nstallat  ons, ensure the rubber Cable Gland  s  nstalled for added
protect  on.
When remov  ng the G3 Dome Camera from the Mount  ng Bracket,  nsert a paper
cl  p  n the Secur  ty Slot to release the Lock Tab and turn the G3 Camera
counterclockw  se.
The LED w  ll l  ght steady blue dur  ng bootup. After bootup, the LED w  ll ash unt  l
the camera  s adopted by the NVR. Upon adopt  on the LED w  ll l  ght steady blue for
10 m  nutes and then turn off.

The Ethernet port  s a 10/100 Ethernet port used to connect the power and should
be connected to the LAN and DHCP server.
To reset the camera to factory defaults, press and hold the Reset button for more
than 10 seconds wh  le the camera  s powered on.
