We congratulate you on choosing UNiKA PC Series power conditioner. This series is
designed for easy use and incorporate the latest advances in power technology, along with
useful and innovative features. Please read all instructions carefully before operating.
INTRODUCTION
1. Rack Mounting Ears - Two front panel mounting holes are provided on each mounting ear.
2. Rack Lights - This switch controls to turn ON or turn OFF the front 2 pull-out LED light pipes.
3. Dimmer - This rotary knob is used to control the light strength from min. to max.
4. Two front panel pull-out LED light pipes - These retractable LED light pipes helps users to
operate in a dark environment easily and more convenient.
5. LED Display - For the PC-9VI and PCU-9VI, this LED display shows input voltage and total
load current for user easily to control them properly.
6. Front panel resettable circuit breaker - This reset button is used to reset the breaker.
7. Unswitched front panel convenience outlet - This outlet keeps power that is always ON.
There are two versions: American type (PC-9VI) and Universal type (PCU-9VI).
8. AC power illuminated switch - The switch is used to turn ON or turn OFF the 8 rear panel
outlets.
9. LED Display - For the PC-8V, the LED display shows input voltage only.

10. AC Power Cord - Plug this cable into a standard 110V or 220V wall outlet. Be sure that the
supplied voltage in your area matches the unit's required voltage. Never plug your power
conditioner into a wall outlet that does not match its required voltage which helps to avoid
serious damage may occurred on the unit.
11. Power Output - There are totally 8 American type outlets on the rear panel, 4 of them with wall
wart spacing, except the PCU-9VI with 8 Universal type outlets without wall wart spacing.

FEATURES
MAXIMUM LOAD
The eight circuit breaker protected outlets are rated at 15 amps total, which is equivalent to
1800 watts at 120 volts. If the total load exceeds 15 amps, the circuit breaker will trip, cutting off
power to your rack. If this happens, reduce the load by unplugging one or more units from the
unit, then push the circuit breaker button in to reset it.

WARNINGS
1. All operating instructions should be read before using this equipment.
2. To prevent the risk of electrical shock, do not remove the cover or the back. There are no user
serviceable parts inside.
3. Do not expose this unit to rain or moisture or to heat sources such as radiators, stoves, or other
items that generate excessive heat.
4. This unit should be cleaned only with a damp cloth. Do not get moisture inside the unit.
5. When moving this equipment, it should be placed in its original carton and packing, to reduce the
risk of damage in transit.

LAMPS
The PC series power conditioner with easily pull-out LED light pipes and may be aimed to provide
the best illumination for your equipment. You should set the front rack lights switch to the OFF
position if not using the lights for an extended period of time.
AC POWER SWITCH
The PC series power conditioners have a master AC POWER switch for the rear outlets. This switch glows
when the unit is on.
