Safety

Read and understand all safety warnings before using the tool.

•Use this product only with a 12VDC power supply (vehicle battery etc).

•Do not leave the tool unattended when connected to an electrical supply.

•Avoid dangerous environments. Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the

presence of flammable liquids, gases or dust. Power tools create sparks which may ignite dust or fumes.

•Do not use this product if it is not completely assembled or if any parts appear to be missing or

damaged. Use of a product that is not properly and completely assembled could result in serious

personal injury.

•Inspect the tool carefully to make sure no breakage or damaged occurred during shipping.

•If any parts are damaged or missing do not operate this tool until the missing parts are replaced. Use of

this product with damaged or missing parts could result in serious personal injury.

•Do not attempt to modify this tool or create accessories not recommended for use with this tool. Any

alteration or modification is misuse that will void product warranty and could result in a hazardous

condition leading to possible serious personal injury.

•To prevent accidental starting that could cause injury, always disconnect the tool from the electrical

supply when assembling parts.

•Keep the tool and all components away from children.

•Keep children and bystanders away while operating power tools.

•Keep the work area clean and well lit

•Keep the tool pointed away from yourself and others at all times. Keep hands and body parts away from

moving parts and use safety guards.

•Do not allow persons unfamiliar with the tool or its operation to use the tool.

•Always hold the tool firmly with both hands when operating it.

•Use safety equipment. Always wear eye and ear protection. Safety equipment such as non-slip safety

shoes and hard hat should be used in appropriate conditions.

•Only use parts and accessories recommended by manufacturer.

•Do not modify any part of the tool or its safety mechanisms.

•Do not use the tool outside of its operating parameters. For example, driving fasteners outside of the

supplied socket sizes.

•Sockets may become hot during use –wear suitable protective gloves when handling bits.

Servicing

•Have your power tool serviced by a qualified repair person using only identical replacement parts. This

will ensure that safety of the tool is maintained.

Electrical Connection

The electrical supply MUST be 12VDC. • The connected battery must be sufficiently charged for

correct tool operation.

12V Vehicle Adaptor

1. Plug the tool 12VDC vehicle adaptor to a suitable vehicle outlet connector (for example, cigarette

lighter). On some vehicles, the ignition may need to be set to "on" or "accessories" etc for power to be

available at the vehicle outlet connection.

Direct Battery Connection

1. Attach the battery connection adaptor cable RED POSITIVE ("+") battery terminal clamp to the POSITIVE

("+") battery terminal.

2. Attach the battery connection adaptor cable BLACK NEGATIVE ("-") battery terminal clamp to the

NEGATIVE ("-") battery terminal.

3. Plug the tool 12VDC vehicle adaptor into the battery connection adaptor cable adaptor socket .

Operation

Fully understand all operational safety warnings before using the tool. • Do NOT operate the

tool continuously for more than 10 minutes. • ALWAYS hold the tool firmly with both hands

when operating.

Changing Sockets

1. Disconnect the tool from the electrical supply.

2. Hold the tool body firmly with one hand.

3. Insert the socket (B) fully onto the drive pin (A).

Each socket has 2 sizes –reverse the direction

of the socket when installing, as required.

To remove a socket, disconnect the tool from the

electrical supply, then pull the socket directly from

the drive pin.

Setting Torque

ALWAYS set the torque to the correct Nm value for the fastener. For

vehicle fasteners, consult manufacturer instructions for correct torque

values. • When the torque is set, the display may returns to "000" although the

set torque value remains. • Do NOT change torque value while the tool is

running. • At next use, the tool will automatically apply the last used torque

setting.

The tool features torque setting. When set, the tool will automatically

disengage the drive pin when the fasteners is at the set torque value. This

helps prevent the possibility of over-tightening fasteners. The current torque

value shows on the display (E).

•To increase torque, press (C) as required. Torque starts at 80Nm and

increases by 10Nm for each press. Maximum torque is 340Nm.

•To decrease torque, press (D) as required. Torque decreases by 10Nm

for each press. Minimum torque is 80Nm.

•To reset the tool to the factory default torque setting, press (C) and (D)

simultaneously.

Selecting Direction

When the forward / reverse selector (C) is in the middle position, the

trigger is "locked". • The image shows the tool in "forward" mode. • Do

NOT change direction while the tool is running.

The drive pin can rotate "forward" (right or clockwise) for screwing in /

tightening. Similarly, the direction of rotation can be "reverse" (left or anti-

clockwise) for screwing out / loosening.

•To rotate forward, push the trigger (F) "▼" arrow.

•To rotate in reverse, push the trigger (F) "▲" arrow.

Guidelines for Use

Fully understand all operational safety warnings before using the tool.

•Always use the correct socket for the fastener size.

•Always torque to the required value –do NOT over-tighten.

•When tightening, wait for "end" to show on the display –this means that the set torque has been

reached.

•Always hold the tool "square" to the fastener. That is, screw straight. Do not apply sideways pressure to

the tool.

•Apply sufficient pressure to prevent the socket slipping from the fastener head.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting

Disconnect the tool from the electrical supply before performing any maintenance. • The

machine should be cool enough to touch before performing maintenance activities. • Some

maintenance activities described may be beyond the scope of some users. For procedures that you are not

comfortable with or have the tools, knowledge or experience for, have the unit serviced by an authorised

service centre or qualified technician.

•Clean the tool regularly with a soft cloth –do NOT use water, solvents, abrasives etc. Remove any

debris from the drive pin and tool ventilation slots using a soft brush.

Fuse Replacement

The tool is fuse protected against motor damage if

there is an excessive current draw. If the fuse is

"blown", the tool cannot be used until the fuse is

replaced:

1. Unscrew the terminal (A) of the cable 12VDC adaptor (B).

2. Remove the fuse (C) from the adaptor. If the filament in the fuse is broken, the fuse is "blown".

3. Insert the replacement fuse (15A) into the adaptor and screw the adaptor terminal back on.

Troubleshooting

The following information may assist in identifying a problem and rectifying it.

Tool will not operate.

Ensure that the electrical supply to the tool is correct (12VDC) and that the vehicle battery is

sufficiently charged. Note that some vehicles may require the ignition set to "on" or "accessories" to

provide power through the cigarette lighter / 12VDC connector. Ensure that all connections are secure.

Fuse blown

Replace the fuse.

Fasteners too tight or not tight enough.
