CONSEJOS IMPORTANTES
Cuando utilice aparatos eléctricos. Siempre deben
seguirse precauciones básicas de seguridad,
incluyendo las siguientes:
1. Lea todas las instrucciones.
2. Asegúrese de que la tensión de salida corresponde
a la tensión indicada en la etiqueta de la cafetera.
3. Para protegerse contra incendios, descargas
eléctricas y lesiones personales, no sumerja el cable,
el enchufe o en agua u otro líquido.
4. Es necesaria una estrecha supervisión cuando se
utiliza algún aparato cerca o cerca de niños.
5. Desconecte la toma de corriente cuando no esté

12. No limpie el recipiente con limpiadores,
almohadillas de lana de acero u otro material
abrasivo.
13. Para desconectar, gire cualquier control a “O”,
retire el enchufe de la toma de corriente. Sostenga
siempre el enchufe. Pero nunca tire del cable.
14. Se puede quemar si se retira la cubierta durante
los ciclos de preparación. Tenga cuidado de no
quemarse por el vapor.
15. Algunas partes del electrodoméstico están
calientes al operar, por lo que no toque con la mano.
Utilice solamente asas o perillas.
16. Nunca deje la jarra vacía sobre la plancha de
calentamiento, de lo contrario la garrafa puede
agrietarse.
17. Nunca utilice el aparato si la jarra presenta
signos de grietas o jarra que tenga un mango suelto
o debilitado. Utilice únicamente la jarra con este
aparato. Use con cuidado, ya que la jarra es muy
frágil.
18. No coloque un recipiente caliente sobre una
supercie caliente o fría.
19. No permita que la cafetera funcione sin agua.
20. No utilice un recipiente agrietado o un
contenedor que tenga un mango suelto o debilitado.
21. Por favor, no abra la tapa superior y asegúrese
de que la copa de vidrio se coloca en el plato
de calentamiento correctamente durante la
preparación.
22. Para reducir el riesgo de incendio o descarga
eléctrica, no retire la cubierta. No hay piezas
reparables por el usuario dentro. La reparación debe
ser realizada únicamente por personal de servicio
autorizado.
23. El recipiente está diseñado para su uso con este

PANEL DE CONTROL
ANTES DEL PRIMER USO
Compruebe que todos los accesorios estén
completos y que la unidad no esté dañada. Llene el
agua en el tanque de agua hasta el nivel MAX y beba
agua varias veces sin polvo de café, luego deseche
el agua. Limpie y seque completamente todas las
partes desmontables según la sección “LIMPIEZA Y
MANTENIMIENTO”.
USANDO SU CAFETERA URSUS TROTTER UT-
KAFFEEKLASIK:
Abra la cubierta superior y llene el depósito de agua
con agua potable. El nivel de agua no debe exceder
el nivel MAX como se indica en el indicador de nivel
de agua.
2. Coloque el embudo en el soporte del embudo,
asegúrese de que está montado correctamente, de
lo contrario la cubierta superior no se puede cerrar.
Coloque el ltro permanente en el embudo.
3. Agregue el polvo de café en el ltro permanente.
Por lo general, una taza de café necesita una cuchara
nivelada de polvo de café, pero puede ajustar de
acuerdo a su gusto personal. Cierre completamente
la cubierta superior.
4. Inserte la jarra con el mango cerrado en la placa de
calentamiento horizontalmente.
5. Conecte el cable de alimentación a la toma de
corriente. Si desea ajustar la fuerza del café, puede
presionar una vez el botón “STRENGTH”, y luego el
indicador STRENGTH se iluminará en naranja y el
aparato preparará café grueso. Si no desea ajustar
la fuerza del café, siga la siguiente operación para
preparar café normal.
6. Presione el botón ON / OFF, el indicador ON /
OFF se iluminará en rojo. La pantalla LCD indica “AM
12:00” y el aparato empieza a funcionar.
Nota: El proceso de cocción se puede interrumpir
pulsando el botón ON / OFF en cualquier momento
y el indicador ON / OFF se apagará, indicando que la
cafetera está apagada.
Nota: Durante el proceso de elaboración de la
cerveza, los botones de “PROGRAM”, “DELAY
BREW”, “HOUR” y “MINUTE” no son válidos.
7. El proceso de preparación puede ser interrumpido
pulsando el botón ON / OFF en cualquier momento,
el indicador ON / OFF se apagará. El aparato
continuará funcionando una vez que se presione de
nuevo el botón ON / OFF.
Nota: Usted puede sacar la jarra, verter y servir en
cualquier momento. El aparato dejará de gotear
automáticamente. Pero el tiempo no puede exceder
los 30 segundos.
8. Retire la jarra para servir cuando nalice la
preparación (aproximadamente un minuto después
de que el café deje de gotear).
Nota: el café que obtenga será menor que el agua que
ha agregado, ya que un poco de agua es absorbida
por el café molido y se adhieren al plástico.
9. Cuando el proceso esté terminado, si no quiere
servir inmediatamente, mantenga la cafetera
encendida, el café se puede mantener caliente en
la placa de calentamiento. Y el aparato se apagará
automáticamente después de 40 minutos desde el
botón ON / OFF activado si no se ha desconectado
manualmente al nalizar la preparación. Para un
sabor de café óptimo, servirlo justo después de la
elaboración de la cerveza.
10. Apague siempre la cafetera y desconecte la
fuente de alimentación cuando no la use.
Nota: preste atención a verter el café, de lo contrario
puede ser herido como la temperatura del café
acaba de terminar es alta.
FUNCIÓN DE RETRASO
Si no quiere que la cafetera empiece a funcionar
de inmediato, por ejemplo, ahora es de 8:10
am, espera que la cafetera comience a trabajar
automáticamente a la 1:00 PM, primero siga los

pasos 1 a 5 de “USANDO SU CAFÉ MAKER “, y luego
puede congurar la función de inicio automático de
la siguiente manera:
1. Ajuste la hora actual que es AM 8:10 presionando
los botones de “HOUR” y “MINUTE”.
Nota: El ciclo de tiempo es de 12 horas.
2. Presione el botón PROGRAM una vez, el indicador
ON / OFF parpadea en verde, la pantalla LCD indica
“AM 12:00” parpadeando. Ajuste la hora de inicio
automático que es PM 1:00 pulsando los botones de
“HOUR” y “MINUTE”.
3. Pulse el botón DELAY BREW, el indicador ON /
OFF se iluminará en verde sólidamente. Después de
un tiempo, la pantalla LCD indica la hora actual.
Nota: Puede cancelar la función de inicio automático
pulsando el botón DELAY BREW. Si desea cambiar
la hora de inicio automático, siga los pasos 2-3
anteriores de nuevo.
4. Cuando llegue la hora, el indicador ON / OFF
se iluminará en rojo y el aparato comenzará a
funcionar. Cuando el proceso haya terminado, si no
desea servir inmediatamente, mantenga la cafetera
energizada, el café puede mantenerse caliente en
la placa de calentamiento. Y el aparato se apagará
automáticamente después de 40 minutos desde el
indicador de encendido / apagado se ilumina en rojo
si no se ha desconectado manualmente al nalizar la
preparación. Para un sabor de café óptimo, servirlo
justo después de la elaboración de la cerveza.

LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO
PRECAUCIÓN: Asegúrese de desenchufar este
aparato antes de limpiarlo. Para protegerse contra
descargas eléctricas, no sumerja el cable, el enchufe
o la unidad en agua o líquido. Después de cada
uso, siempre asegúrese de que el enchufe se retire
primero de la toma de corriente.
1. Limpie todas las piezas desmontables después de
cada uso en agua caliente jabonosa.
2. Limpie la supercie exterior de la unidad con un
paño suave y húmedo para eliminar las manchas.
3. Las gotas de agua pueden acumularse en el área
anterior del embudo y gotear sobre la base del
producto durante la preparación. Para controlar
el goteo, limpie el área con un paño limpio y seco
después de cada uso.
4. Use un paño húmedo para limpiar suavemente la
placa de calentamiento. Nunca utilice un limpiador
abrasivo para limpiarlo.

próximo uso.
ELIMINACIÓN DE DEPÓSITOS MINERALES
Para mantener su cafetera funcionando
ecientemente, periódicamente debe limpiar los
depósitos minerales dejados por el agua de acuerdo
a la calidad del agua en su área y la frecuencia de uso,
le recomendamos eliminar los depósitos minerales
de la siguiente manera:
1. Llene el tanque con agua y descalcicador hasta
el nivel máximo tal como se indica en el indicador
de nivel de agua (la escala de agua y descalcicador
es de 4: 1, el detalle se reere a la instrucción del
descalcicador. también utilizar el ácido cítrico en
lugar del descalcicador (las cien partes de agua y
tres partes de ácido cítrico).
2. Inserte la jarra de vidrio en la placa de
calentamiento.
3. Asegúrese de que el ltro (sin polvo de café) y el
embudo estén montados en su lugar.
4. Encienda el aparato y deje que se “infunda”
solución de descalcicación siguiendo la operación
anterior.
5. Después de “preparar” una solución de una taza,
apague el aparato.
6. Dejar reposar la solución durante 15 minutos y
repetir el paso 3-5.
7. Encienda el aparato y escurra la solución hasta que
el tanque de agua esté completamente vacío.
8. Enjuague el aparato con agua al menos 3 veces.
CONSEJOS PARA EL GRAN CAFÉ
1. Una cafetera limpia es esencial para hacer un café
de gran sabor. Limpie periódicamente la cafetera
como se especica en la sección “LIMPIEZA Y
MANTENIMIENTO”. Utilice siempre agua fresca y fría
en la cafetera.
2. Guarde el polvo de café no utilizado en un lugar
fresco y seco. Después de abrir un paquete de café
en polvo, vuelva a cerrarlo rmemente y guárdelo en
un refrigerador para mantener su frescura.
3. Para obtener un sabor óptimo del café, compre
granos de café enteros y muélelos namente antes
de prepararlo.
4. No reutilizar el polvo del café puesto que esto
reducirá grandemente el sabor del café. No se
recomienda recalentar el café ya que el café está
en su sabor máximo inmediatamente después de la
preparación.
5. Limpie la cafetera cuando la sobreextracción cause
oleosidad. Pequeñas gotas de aceite en la supercie
del café negro elaborado se deben a la extracción de

aceite del café en polvo.
6. El aceite puede ser más frecuente si se utilizan
cafés tostados.

READ THIS MANUAL THOROUGHLY BEFORE
USING AND SAVE IT FOR FUTURE REFERENCE
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliance. Basic safety
precautions should always be followed including the
following:
1. Read all instructions.
2. Make sure that your outlet voltage corresponds to
the voltage stated on the rating label of the coee
maker.
3. To protect against re, electric shock and injury
to persons do not immerse cord, plug, or in water or
other liquid.
4. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance
is used by or near children.
5. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before
cleaning. Allow to cooling before putting on or taking
o parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
6. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord
or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or has
been damaged in any manner. Return appliance to an
authorized service facility for examination, repair or
adjustment.
7. The use of accessory not recommended by the
appliance manufacturer may result in re, electric
shock or injury to persons.
8. Do not use outdoors.
9. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter,
or touch hot surface.
10. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric
burner, or in a heated oven.
11. Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
12. Do not clean container with cleansers, steel wool
pads, or other abrasive material.
13. To disconnect, turn any control to “O”, remove
plug from wall outlet. Always hold the plug. But
never pull the cord.
14. Scalding may occur if the cover is removed during
the brewing cycles. Be careful not to get burned by
the steam.
15. Some parts of appliance are hot when operated,
so do not touch with hand. Use handles or knobs
only.
16. Never leave the empty carafe on the warming
plate otherwise the carafe is liable to crack.
17. Never use the appliance if the carafe shows any
signs of cracks or carafe having a loose or weakened
handle. Only use the carafe with this appliance. Use
carefully as the carafe is very fragile.
18. Do not set a hot container on a hot or cold
surface.
19. Do not let the coee maker operate without
water.
20. Do not use a cracked container or a container
having a loose or weakened handle.
21. Please do not open the top cover and make
sure the glass cup is placed on the warming plate
correctly during the brewing.
22. To reduce the risk of re or electrical shock, do
not remove the cover. No user serviceable parts
inside. Repair should be done by authorized service
personnel only.
23. The container is designed for use with this
appliance. It must never be used on a range top.
24. This appliance can be used by children aged
from 8 years and above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved. Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
children without supervision.
25. Children should be supervised to ensure that
they do not play with the appliance.
26. This appliance is intended to be used in household
and similar applications such as:

KNOW YOUR COFFEE MAKER
CONTROL PANEL
BEFORE THE FIRST USE
Check that all accessories are complete and the unit
is not damaged. Fill water into water tank to the MAX
level and brew water for several times without coee
powder, then discard the water. Clean and dry all
detachable parts thoroughly according to the section
“CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE” .
USING YOUR COFFEE MAKER
1. Open the top cover and ll the water tank with
drinking water. The water level should not exceed
MAX level as indicated on the water level gauge.
2. Place the funnel into the funnel support, make sure
it is assembled correctly, otherwise the top cover
cannot be closed. Place the permanent lter in the
funnel.
3. Add coee powder into permanent lter. Usually a
cup of coee needs a level spoon of coee powder,
but you may adjust according to personal taste. Close
the top cover completely.
4. Insert the carafe with handle closed onto warming
plate horizontally.
5. Plug the power cord into the outlet. If you
want to adjust the coee strength, you can press
“STRENGTH” button once, and then the STRENGTH
indicator will illuminate in orange and the appliance
will brew thick coee. If you do not want to adjust the
coee strength, just follow the following operation
to brew normal coee.
6. Press ON/OFF button, the ON/OFF indicator
illuminates in red. The LCD display indicates “AM
12:00”, and then the appliance begins to work.
Note: The brewing process can be interrupted by
pressing the ON/OFF button at any time, and the
ON/OFF indicator will extinguish, indicating your
coee maker is shut o.
Note: During brewing process, the buttons of
“PROGRAM”,“DELAY BREW” ,“HOUR” and “MINUTE”
are invalid.
7. The brewing process can be interrupted by
pressing the ON/OFF button at any time, the ON/
OFF indicator will extinguish. The appliance will
continue brewing once ON/OFF button is pressed
again.
Note: You can take out carafe, pour and serve at any
time. The appliance will stop dripping automatically.
But the time cannot exceed 30 seconds.
8. Remove out carafe to serve when nish brewing
(about one minute later after the coee stops
dripping out.)
Note: the coee you get will less than the water you
have added, as some water is absorbed by coee
ground and adhere to the plastic.
9. When the process is nished, if you do not want
to serve immediately, keep the coee maker is
energized, the coee can be kept warm on the
warming plate. And the appliance will shut o
automatically after 40 minutes from the ON/OFF
button being activated if it has not been manually
disconnected at the completion of brewing. For an
optimum coee taste, serve it just after brewing.
10. Always turn the coee maker o and disconnect
the power supply when not use.
Note: pay attention to pour the coee out, otherwise
you may be hurt as the temperature of coee just
nished is high.
DELAY FUNCTION
If you do not want the coee maker to start operation
immediately, for example now it is AM 8:10, you
hope that the coee maker will automatically start
working at PM 1:00, rst follow steps 1 to 5 of “USING
YOUR COFFEE MAKER”, and then you can set the
automatic start function as follows:
1. Set the current time that is AM 8:10 by pressing the
buttons of “HOUR” and “MINUTE”.
Note: The time cycle is 12 hours.
2. Press PROGRAM button once, ON/OFF indicator
ashes in green, the LCD display indicates “AM

12:00” ickeringly. Set the automatic start time that
is PM 1:00 by pressing the buttons of “HOUR” and
“MINUTE”.
3. Press the DELAY BREW button, the ON/OFF

steps 2-3 again.
4. When the time is due, the ON/OFF indicator will
illuminate in red and the appliance starts brewing.
When the process is nished, if you do not want
to serve immediately, keep the coee maker is
energized, the coee can be kept warm on the
warming plate. And the appliance will shut o
automatically after 40 minutes from the ON/OFF
indicator illuminates in red if it has not been manually
disconnected at the completion of brewing. For an
optimum coee taste, serve it just after brewing.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
CAUTION: Be sure to unplug this appliance before
cleaning. To protect against electrical shock, do not
immerse cord, plug or unit in water or liquid. After
each use, always make sure plug is rst removed
from wall outlet.
1. Clean all detachable parts after each use in hot
sudsy water.
2. Wipe the exterior surface of unit with a soft, damp
cloth to remove stains.
3. Water droplets may buildup in the above area of
the funnel and drip onto the product base during
brewing. To control the dripping, wipe o the area
with a clean, dry cloth after each use.
4. Use a damp cloth to gently wipe the warming
plate. Never use abrasive cleaner to clean it.
5. Replace all parts and keep for next use.
REMOVING MINERAL DEPOSITS
To keep your coee maker operating eciently,
periodically you should clean away the mineral
deposits left by the water according to the water
quality in your area and the use frequency, we
recommend removing mineral deposits as follows:
1. Fill the tank with water and descaler to the max
level as indicated on the water level gauge (the
scale of water and descaler is 4:1, the detail refers
to the instruction of descaler. Please use “household
descaler”, you may also use the citric acid instead of
the descaler (the one hundred parts of water and
three parts of citric acid).
2. Insert glass carafe onto the warming plate.
3. Make ensure lter (without coee powder) and
funnel are assembled in place.
4. Switch on the appliance and allow it to “brew” de-
scaling solution by follow the operation above.
5. After “brew” one-cup solution, switch o the
appliance.
6. Leave the solution stay for 15 minutes and repeat
step 3-5.
7. Switch on the appliance and run o the solution
until the water tank is completely empty.
8. Rinse by operating the appliance with water at
least 3 times.
HINTS FOR GREAT-TASTING COFFEE
1. A clean coee maker is essential for making great-
tasting coee. Regularly clean the coee maker as
specied in the “CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE”
section. Always use fresh, cold water in the coee
maker.
2. Store unused coee powder in a cool, dry place.
After opening a package of coee powder, reseal it
tightly and store it in a refrigerator to maintain its
freshness.
3. For an optimum coee taste, buy whole coee
beans and nely grind them just before brewing.
4. Do not reuse coee powder since this will
greatly reduce the coee’ avor. Reheating coee
is not recommended as coee is at its peak avor
immediately after brewing.
5. Clean the coee maker when over-extraction
causes oiliness. Small oil droplets on the surface of
brewed, black coee are due to the extraction of oil
from the coee powder.
6. Oiliness may occur more frequently if heavily
roasted coees are used.
