FOR SAFE AND EFFICIENT OPERATION
1. Be careful with heat and extreme temperature
Avoid exposing it to direct sunlight or near a heating appliance. Do not exceed temperatures below
5 °C, or over 35 °C.
2. Keep away from humidity, water and dust.
Do not place appliance in a location with high humidity or lots of dust. Containers with liquid should
not be placed on the set.
3. Keep away from sources of hum and noise, such as a transformer motor, tuner, TV set or ampli-
fier.
4. Avoid placing on unstable locations. Select a level and stable location to avoid vibration.
5. Do not use chemicals or volatile liquids for cleaning.
Use a clean dry cloth to wipe off dust, or a moist soft cloth for stubborn dirt.
6. If out of order, contact sales agency immediately.
If any troubles arise, remove the power plug immediately, and contact an engineer for repairing.
Do not open the cabinet yourself, it may result in an electric shock.
6-1. Be careful with the power cable.
Never pull the power cable to remove the plug from the outlet, be sure to hold the plug. When not
using the player for an extended period of time be sure to disconnect the plug from the outlet.
7. Handle the compact disc carefully.
Always keep the disc clean; do not use cracked discs, it will damage the player.
Keep the packaging safe so that, if the equipment is defective, you can
send it back in its original packaging and so avoid any damage.

1. POWER BUTTON
Press the power switch to turn the unit on. To switch the POWER off press the
POWER switch again.
2. JOG & SHUTTLE WHEELS
Shuttle: Use the dial to select the scanning direction and speed. The disc is scanned in forward
direction when the shuttle dial is turned clockwise from the neutral position and in the reverse
direction when the shuttle dial is turned counter-clockwise. The scanning speeds up when the
shuttle dial is tumed faster.
Jog: ln pause mode, if you turn the jog, the point at which the sound is being produced moves by
anumber of frames corresponding to the number of clicks. Clockwise moves the point forward,
counterclockwise moves the point backward.
In play mode ,the jog increases or decreases the speed of the song.
(clockwise : increase, counter-clockwise: decrease).
3. TIME BUTTON
Use this button to choose the time mode: Elapsed time, remaining time or total remaining time.
4. REPEAT BUTTON
Use this button to repeat one track or all the tracks of the CD.
5. PGM BUTTON
You can program several tracks (20 tracks max.):
-Press the PGM button to enter the program mode.
-Use the skip track buttons to choose the track you want, then press the PGM button
-Repeat the operation to select all the tracks you want.
-Press the play / pause button to start the playback.
6. IN BUTTON (LOOP SYSTEM)
This button sets the beginning of the loop. The loop indicator flashes on the display.
7. OUT BUTTON (LOOP SYSTEM)
When you press this button, you set the end point of the seamless loop and you start the loop.
Tofinish the loop, press this button again.
8. RELOOP BUTTON (LOOP SYSTEM)
Use this button to start the last saved loop.
9. SKIP |<< BUTTON
Use this button to re-start the track or to select the previous track.
10. SKIP >>| BUTTON
Use this button to select the next track.
11. PLAY/PAUSE BUTTON
Each time you press the PLAY/PAUSE button, the operation changes from play to pause or from
pause to play.

12. CUE BUTTON
Pressing the CUE button during play provides a return to the position at which play was started.
13. PITCH CONTROL
Use this fader to increase or decrease the speed of the track.
14. PITCH BEND + BUTTON
The pitch will automatically rise when the + button is pressed and return to the original pitch when
it is released.
15. PITCH BUTTON
If you push this button, the adjustement of the pitch potentiometer is available.
16. PITCH BEND - BUTTON
The pitch will drop while the button is pressed and returns to the original pitch when it is released.
17. DISPLAY
18. EJECT BUTTON
Press to load or eject disk.
NOTE: disc holder will not open unless stop or pause button has been pushed first.
19. SEARCH BUTTON
When the indicator LED is lit, dial the jog for quick search forward and backward,
when the jog is unmoved for 8 seconds, the indicator turns off.
20. ROBO: SINGLE/CONTINUE
Press these to switch between the SINGLE and CONTINUOUS play mode. The selected mode
is indicated on the LCD screen. In SINGLE mode the unit stops after each track. In CONTINUE
mode, the unit reads all track and stops.

22. LINE OUT
Connect to the line input of a mixer.
23. POWER SUPPLY SWITCH
Used this selector to choose the correct power supply.
24. AC CORD
25. DIN SOCKET
Connect on all this sockets the mini-din cable provide with the cd player. Connect the player 1
with part 1 of the controller and player 2 with part 2 of the controller.
26. FUSES
Under normal operation the fuses should not blow. A blown fuse usually indicates an overload or
faulty condition. To change the fuse, remove the power cord, pry off the fuse block with a small
flathead screwdriver and change the blown fuse. Refer to the specifications page for fuse current
ratings. If the fuses blow immediately upon power up, this indicates a faulty condition and the CD
player should be returned to your US Blaster dealer for repair.
27. REMOTE SENSOR
This sensor receives the information of the remote control. Don't place any object or sticker in
front of the sensor.
WARRANTY CONDITIONS
US Blaster equipment is covered by a 1-year warranty on parts and labor except for Crossfaders
(90 days).
The following rules apply from the day the equipment leaves the factory:
The date on the invoice is considered to be the date the warranty begins. Only companies appro-
ved by US Blaster are allowed to work on the equipment. Warranty becomes void when other
service technicians open the equipment. During the warranty period, defective equipment must
be sent by pre-paid mail in the original box. US Blaster will return the goods by pre-paid mail
during the first year of warranty; thereafter the mailing cost is to be paid by the recipient.
Potentiometers have a limited lifetime and are not covered by the manufacturer for more than
normal use. For all service enquiries, refer to your local distributor, as he is best able to help you.

1. Wees voorzichtig met hitte en extreme temperaturen
Vermijd direct zonlicht of directe hittebronnen. Plaats het toestel niet in ruimten met temperaturen
onder de 5°C of boven de 35°C.
2. Vermijd vocht, water en stof
Zet het toestel niet op een plaats met veel vocht of stof. Plaats geen voorwerpen met water, zoals
een vaas, op het toestel.
3. Vermijd contact met zoemende bronnen.
Zoals een transformator, motor, radio, TV of versterker.
4. Plaats het toestel op een stabiele ondergrond.
Kies een platte en stabiele ondergrond om trillingen te voorkomen.
5. Gebruik nooit agressieve chemicaliën, zeep of oplosmiddel om het apparaat te reinigen.
Gebruik een droge, schone doek om het stof af te vegen of een vochtige, zachte doek voor hard-
nekkig vuil.
6. Indien defect, direct contact opnemen met de fabrikant.
Als er zich problemen voordoen, haal de stekker uit het stopcontact. Neem contact op met een
reparateur en maak het toestel niet zelf open. Dit kan gevaarlijk zijn i.v.m. elektrische schokken.
7. Voorzichtig met het netsnoer
Haal het netsnoer nooit uit het stopcontact door aan het snoer te trekken, trek altijd aan de
stekker. Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact als u het apparaat gedurende langere tijd niet gebruikt.
8. Voorzichtig omgaan met de compact disk
Houd de cd altijd schoon, gebruik geen gekraste of kapotte cd’s. Hiervan gaat de speler kapot.
Bewaar de verpakking zodat, indien het apparaat defect is, u deze in de
originele verpakking kunt opsturen, dit om beschadigingen te voorkomen.

Voer zelf geen reparaties uit aan het apparaat; in élk geval vervalt de totale garantie.
Ook mag het apparaat niet eigenmachtig worden gemodificeerd, ook in dit geval vervalt de tota-
le garantie. Tevens vervalt de garantie bij ongevallen en beschadigingen in élke vorm t.g.v.
onoordeelkundig gebruik en/of het niet in acht nemen van de waarschuwingen in het algemeen
en gestelde in deze gebruiksaanwijzing. US Blaster Europe BV aanvaardt geen enkele aanspra-
kelijkheid in geval van persoonlijke ongelukken als gevolg van het niet naleven van veiligheids-
instructies en waarschuwingen.Dit geldt ook voor gevolgschade in wélke vorm dan ook.

1. AAN/UIT KNOP
Druk deze knop in om het apperaat AAN te zetten, druk het nogmaals in om het UIT te zetten.
2. JOG & SHUTTLE WIELEN
Shuttle: Gebruik het wiel om de scan richting en snelheid te selecteren. De disc wordt in een
voorwaartse richting gescanned wanneer het shuttle wiel met de klok mee gedraaid wordt van-
uit de neutrale positie, en in de omgekeerde richting wanneer het shuttle wiel linksdraaiend wordt
gedraaid. Het scannen wordt versnelt wanneer het shuttle wiel sneller gedraaid wordt.
Jog: Als u in pauze modus de jog draaid, wordt het punt waarop het geluid wordt geproduceerd
door een aantal frames verplaatst, congruent aan de aantal kliks. Met de klok mee zet je dat punt
vooruit, tegen de klok in zet je het punt achteruit.
In speel modus verhoogt of verlaagd de jog de snelheid van het lied.
(met de klok mee: verhogend, tegen de klok in: verlagend).
3. DE TIJD KNOP
Gebruik deze knop om de tijdwijze te kiezen: verlopen tijd, de resterende tijd of de totale reste-
rende tijd.
4. HERHAAL KNOP
Gebruik deze knoop om één track of alle tracks van de CD te herhalen.
5. PGM KNOP
Ukunt diverse tracks (max. 20 tracks) programmeren:
-Druk de PGM knop in om de programma modus in te gaan.
-Gebruik de “skip track” knoppen om de track te kiezen u wilt, druk dan de PGM knop in
-Herhaal dit om alle tracks te selecteren die u wilt.
-Druk de play/pauzeknop om de playback te beginnen.
6. IN KNOP (LOOP SYSTEEM)
Deze knop stelt het beginpunt van de loop in. De loopindicatoren flitsen op de display.
7. UIT KNOP (LOOP SYSTEEM)
Wanneer u deze knop indrukt, stelt u het eindpunt van de loop in en start u de loop. Om de loop
te beëindigen, druk opnieuw deze knop in.
8. RELOOP KNOP (LOOP SYSTEEM)
Gebruik deze knop om de laatste bewaarde loop te beginnen.
9. SKIP |<< KNOP
Gebruik deze knoop om de track te laten herstarten of om de vorige track te selecteren.
10. SKIP >>| KNOP
Gebruik deze knop om de volgende track te selecteren.
11. PLAY/PAUZE KNOP
Telkens als u de knop PLAY/PAUZE indrukt, geeft u het apperaat de opracht om van afspelen
naar pauze te gaan of van pauze naar afspelen.

12. DE CUE KNOP
Het indrukken van de CUE knop tijdens het afspelen leidt tot een terugkeer naar de positie waar-
op het afspelen was begonnen.
13. PITCH CONTROL
Gebruik deze fader om de snelheid van de track te verhogen of te verminderen.
14. PITCH BEND + KNOP
De snelheid zal automatisch toenemen wanneer de + knop wordt ingedrukt en zal terugkeren
naar de originele snelheid wanneer het wordt losgelaten.
15. PITCH KNOP
Als u deze knop drukt wordt de bijstelling van de hoogtepotentiometer beschikbaar.
16. PITCH BEND - KNOP
De snelheid zal dalen terwijl de knop wordt ingedrukt en op de originele snelheid teruggebracht
wanneer het wordt losgelaten.
17. DISPLAY
18. EJECT KNOP
Druk deze knop in om een schijf te laden of uit te werpen.
NOTA: de schijf houder zal niet openen tenzij de stop of pauze knop eerst is ingedrukt.
19. SEARCH KNOP
Wanneer de indicator LED brand, draai de jog voor en-achteruit voor het snelle zoeken, wanneer
de jog voor 8 seconden onbewogen is, schakelt de indicator zichzelf uit.
20. ROBO: SINGLE/CONTINUE
Druk deze aan schakelaar in om de SINGLE en de ONONDERBROKEN afspeelwijze te wisse-
len. De geselecteerde wijze is vermeld op het LCD scherm. In de SINGLE modus stopt de een-
heid na elke track. In de CONTINUE (ononderbroken) modus, speelt de eenheid alle tracks door
tot het einde.

22. LIJN UIT
Verbind met de lijninput van een mixer.
23. DE VOEDINGSSCHAKELAAR
Gebruikte deze schakelaar om de correcte voeding te kiezen.
24. AC SNOER
25. DIN FITTING
Verbind op al deze fittingen de mini-DIN kabel van de CD speler. Sluit speler 1 aan deel 1 van
het controlemechanisme en speler 2 met deel 2 van het controlemechanisme aan.
26. ZEKERINGEN
Onder normale verrichting zouden de zekeringen niet moeten doorbranden. Een doorgebrande
zekering wijst gewoonlijk op een overbelasting of op een defecte conditie. Om de zekering te wis-
selen, verwijder de stroomkabel, haal het zekeringsblok eruit met een kleine schroevendraaier
met platte kop en wissel de doorgebande zekering. Verwijs naar de specificatiepagina voor de
huidige zekerings classificaties. Als de zekeringen onmiddellijk bij het aanzetten doorbranden,
wijst dit op een defecte conditie en zou u de CD speler aan uw US Blaster dealer voor reparatie
moeten geven.
23. REMOTE SENSOR
Deze sensor ontvangt de informatie van de afstandsbediening. Plaats geen voorwerp of sticker
voor de sensor.
GARANTIEBEPALINGEN
De volgende regels zijn van toepassing vanaf de dag dat de apparatuur de fabriek verlaat:
De datum op de rekening wordt beschouwd als de datum waarop de garantie begint. Alleen de
door US Blaster erkende bedrijven mogen aan de apparatuur werken. De garantie wordt nietig
wanneer andere diensttechnici de apparatuur openen. Tijdens de garantieperiode moet de
gebrekkige apparatuur door vooraf betaalde post in de originele doos worden verzonden. US
Blaster zal de goederen door vooraf betaalde post tijdens het eerste jaar van garantie terugke-
ren; daarna moeten de postkosten door de ontvanger worden betaald. Potentiometers hebben
een gelimiteerde levensduur en worden niet door de fabrikant gedekt voor meer dan normal
gebruik. Voor alle service aanvragen kunt u bij uw locale distributeur terecht, deze kan u het
beste te woord staan.

POUR UN FONCTIONNEMENT SECURISE ET EFFICACE
1. Faites attention à la chaleur et aux températures extrêmes
Évitez d'exposer l'unité directement à la lumière ou près d'une source de chaleur. Ne l’exposez pas
à des températures inférieures à 5 °C ou supérieures à 35 °C.
2. Protégez l'unité contre l'humidité, l'eau et les poussières
Ne placez pas l'ensemble dans un endroit avec une humidité importante ou de nombreuses pous-
sières. Des conteneurs avec de l'eau ne doivent pas être placés sur l'ensemble.
3. Protégez l'unité contre les sources de vibrations et de bruit
Telles que les transformateurs, les syntoniseurs, les télévisions et les amplificateurs.
4. Évitez de placer l'unité à un emplacement instable
Sélectionnez un emplacement stable pour éviter les vibrations.
5. N'utilisez pas de produits chimiques ou de liquides volatiles pour le nettoyage
Utilisez un chiffon propre et sec pour enlever la poussière ou un chiffon légèrement humide pour les
poussières persistantes.
6. Si l'unité tombe en panne, contactez immédiatement le vendeur
S’il y a le moindre problème, enlevez rapidement la prise de
courant et contactez un ingénieur pour les réparations. N'ouvrez
pas le boîtier car cela pourrait engendrer des risques de chocs électriques.
6-1. Prenez soin du câble d'alimentation
Ne tirez jamais sur le câble d'alimentation pour enlever la prise, assurez-vous de tenir la prise. Si
vous n'utilisez pas le lecteur pendant une longue période, assurez-vous de déconnecter la prise du
réceptacle.
7. Manipulez le disque compact avec précaution
Assurez-vous que le disque est toujours propre ; n’utilisez pas de disques rayés ou griffés, cela
endommagerait le lecteur.
Conserver l’emballage vous permettra de renvoyer un équipement
défectueux dans son emballage d’origine et d’éviter ainsi tout dommage.

Ne réalisez aucune réparation vous-même sur l’équipement sous peine d'annuler la garantie.
Ne modifiez pas non plus l’équipement sous peine aussi d'annuler la garantie.
La garantie s’annule également si un accident ou des dommages quels qu’ils soient sont causés
par une utilisation inappropriée et/ou le fait de pas avoir tenu compte des avertissements en
général tels que stipulés dans ce manuel de l’utilisateur.
US Blaster Europe décline toute responsabilité en cas accident corporel résultant du non respect
des consignes et des avertissements de sécurité. Il en va de même pour toute perte consécuti-
ve de quelque forme que ce soit.

1. BOUTON D'ALIMENTATION
Pressez le bouton d'alimentation pour allumer l'unité. Pour l'éteindre, pressez à nouveau le bou-
ton d'alimentation.
2. MOLETTES JOG & SHUTTLE
Shuttle: Utilisez la molette pour sélectionner la direction et la vitesse du balayage. Le disque est
parcouru en sens normal quand la molette shuttle est tournée dans le sens horaire depuis la posi-
tion neutre et en sens inverse quand la molette shuttle est tournée dans le sens anti-horaire. La
vitesse de balayage augmente avec celle de rotation de la molette shuttle.
Jog: En mode pause, si vous tournez la molette jog, le point auquel le son est produit (position de
la tête de lecture) bouge d'un nombre de frames ("trames") correspondant au nombre de clics.
Une rotation de sens horaire fait avancer ce point, une rotation de sens anti-horaire le fait reculer.
En mode de lecture, la molette jog accélère ou ralentit le morceau.
(sens horaire: accélération, sens anti-horaire: ralentissement).
3. BOUTON TIME
Utilisez ce bouton pour choisir le mode d'affichage temporel: temps écoulé, temps restant ou
temps total restant.
4. BOUTON REPEAT
Utilisez ce bouton pour lire en boucle une plage ou toutes les plages du CD.
5. BOUTON PGM
Vous pouvez programmer plusieurs plages (20 plages max.):
-Pressez le bouton PGM pour passer en mode programme.
-Utilisez les boutons de saut de plage pour choisir la plage voulue, puis pressez le bouton PGM
-Répétez l'opération pour sélectionner toutes les plages voulues.
-Pressez le bouton lecture / pause pour lancer la lecture.
6. BOUTON IN (SYSTEME DE BOUCLAGE)
Ce bouton définit le début de la boucle. Le témoin de bouclage clignote dans l'afficheur.
7. BOUTON OUT (SYSTEME DE BOUCLAGE)
Quand vous pressez ce bouton, vous définissez le point de fin de la boucle parfaite et vous lan-
cez cette boucle. Pour arrêter le bouclage, pressez à nouveau ce bouton.
8. BOUTON RELOOP (SYSTEME DE BOUCLAGE)
Utilisez ce bouton pour lancer la dernière boucle mémorisée.
9. BOUTON SKIP |<<
Utilisez ce bouton pour faire redémarrer la plage ou pour sélectionner la plage précédente.
10. BOUTON SKIP >>|
Utilisez ce bouton pour sélectionner la plage suivante.
11. BOUTON LECTURE/PAUSE
Chaque fois que vous pressez le bouton LECTURE/PAUSE, le fonctionnement passe de lecture
àpause ou de pause à lecture.

12. BOUTON CUE
Presser le bouton CUE durant la lecture entraîne un retour à la position d'où a démarré la lectu-
re.
13. PITCH CONTROL
Utilisez ce fader pour accélérer ou ralentir la plage.
14. BOUTON PITCH BEND +
La hauteur augmente automatiquement quand le bouton + est pressé et revient à la hauteur d'ori-
gine quand il est relâché.
15. BOUTON PITCH
Si vous poussez ce bouton, le réglage du potentiomètre pitch est possible.
16. BOUTON PITCH BEND –
La hauteur diminue quand ce bouton est pressé et revient à la hauteur d'origine quand il est relâ-
ché.

18. BOUTON EJECTION
Pressez-le pour insérer ou éjecter un disque.
NOTE: le tiroir de disque ne s'ouvrira pas si le bouton stop ou pause n'a pas d'abord été pressé.
19. BOUTON SEARCH
Quand la diode témoin est allumée, tournez la molette jog pour une recherche rapide en avant et
en arrière. Si la molette jog reste immobile 8 secondes, la diode témoin s'éteint.
20. ROBO: SINGLE/CONTINUE
Pressez ces commutateurs pour alterner entre les modes de lecture simple (SINGLE) et continu
(CONTINUE). Le mode sélectionné est indiqué sur l'écran LCD. En mode SINGLE, l'appareil s'ar-
rête à la fin de chaque plage. En mode CONTINUE, l'appareil lit toutes les plages et s'arrête.
23. CAPTEUR DE TELECOMMANDE
Ce capteur reçoit les informations de la télécommande. Ne placez aucun objet ou auto-collant face
àce capteur.

Pour connecter l'entrée ligne d'une table de mixage.

Utilisez ce sélecteur pour choisir la tension électrique correcte.

Branchez-y le câble mini-din livré avec le lecteur de CD. Connectez le lecteur 1 à la partie 1 du
contrôleur et le lecteur 2 à la partie 2 du contrôleur.
26. FUSIBLES
En fonctionnement normal, les fusibles ne doivent pas se rompre. La fonte d'un fusible indique
généralement une surcharge ou une panne. Pour changer le fusible, retirez le cordon d'alimen-
tation, faites levier avec un petit tournevis à tête plate sur le bloc de fusible pour le sortir et
changez le fusible usagé. Référez-vous à la page des caractéristiques techniques pour connaî-
tre les valeurs de courant du fusible. Si le fusible rompt immédiatement à la mise sous tension,
cela signifie qu'il y a une panne et que le lecteur de CD doit être renvoyé à votre revendeur US
Blaster pour réparation.
CONDITIONS DE GARANTIE
Les équipements US Blaster sont couverts par une garantie d'1 an pour les pièces et la main
d'oeuvre exceptés les crossfaders (90 jours).
Les règles suivantes s'appliquent à compter du jour où l'équipement quitte l'usine:
La date de facture est considérée comme étant la date du début de la garantie. Seules les socié-
tés agréées par US Blaster sont autorisées à intervenir sur les équipements. La garantie est inva-
lidée si d'autres techniciens de maintenance ouvrent l'équipement. Durant la période de garan-
tie, un équipement défectueux doit être renvoyé en port payé dans son emballage d'origine. US
Blaster renverra les marchandises en port payé durant la première année de garantie; ensuite
les coûts de transport sont à la charge du destinataire. Les potentiomètres ont une durée de vie
limitée et ne sont couverts par la garantie du fabricant que pour un usage normal. Pour toutes
demandes de réparation, référez-vous à votre distributeur local, car il est le mieux placé pour
vous aider.
