1. Introduction

6. Inserting a Memory Card
•Push the Micro SD card into the card slot. The arrow on the cover
indicates how to insert the card.
•To take outthe Micro SD card, gentlypress the end of the
memory card and it will pop up.
Note
For 1080P video capture, it is recommended to use a class 10 SD
card of 8 GB or larger.
7. Charging the Camera
•To charge the camera, connect the USB port of the camera [14] to
a USB port of your computer with the included USB cable.
•The red indicator [3] lights up when the camera is charging and
turns off when fully charged. Charging takes about 2-4 hours.
•The camera functions cannot be used while connected to your
compute r.
•If the camera is turned on while connected to the computer, you
can access the files on the camera's SD card.
•See Safety Instructions above for details about battery disposal.
8. Operation
8.1 Turn the Camera on and off
Turn on the camera
To turn on the camera, press and hold the
power button for 2 seconds.
Turn off the camera
To turn off the camera, short press the
power button .

When the camera remains unused for a
certain time, itenters power save mode.
The indicator on the back [4] lights up.
Turn off the display
You can turn off the display with button
[5].
8.2 Setting the time and date
1. Tap the DATE/TIME icon on the display.

2. Use the arrows ▲and ▼ to change a setting.
3. Use the arrows ►and ◄ to switch to another item (day,month,
year, minutes, seconds and date format).
4. Tap the SET icon.
8.3 Camera Mode s
The camera has 3 modes, each represented byan icon in the upper
left of the display.

The camera always starts in video mode when you switch it on. Tap
the mode icon until the mode you want is active.
8.4 Icons and Settings
Using the icons
To use the icons
•Tap a function icon to access the options.
The options appear at the bottom of the display.
•Tap the option you want.
•Tap the function icon again to cancel.
Generic icons
The icons below are available in all modes (video, photo, vehicle).

The zoom factor is displayed between both icons.
Icons in photo mode
The specific functions for photo mode are:

Sets the image resolution.
The number next to the icon shows the
remaining number of images you can ca rd
take in the selected resolution (depending
on the size of the SD card).
[Shooting modes]
The icon shows the shooting mode that is
currently set.
No shooting mode is set.
Self-timer
The picture is taken 10 seconds after you
push the shutter button.
Continuous shooting
Takes 3 pictures with one press on the
shutter button.
Icons in video mode
Sets the video resolution.
The time next to the icon is the remaining time
you can record in the selected resolution
(depending on the size of the SD ca rd ).
Icons in vehicle mode
Allows flipping the camera image. Useful if you
are hanging the camera upside down.

8.5 Recording Video
•When you switch on the camera, it starts in video mode .
When in another mode, tap the mode icon to change the mode.
•Press the shutter button to start recording.
The display shows the recording time.
•Press the shutter button again to stop recording.

Notes
•If the SD card is full, the camera stops recording.
8.6 Taking a P icture
•Tap the mode icon to set the photo mode .
•Press the shutter button to take a picture.
See section Icons and settings above for details about the options.
8.7 Vehicle Mode
•Tap the mode icon to set the vehicle mode .
•Press the shutter button to start recording.
The display shows the recording time.
•Press the shutter button again to stop recording.
Notes
•In vehicle mode, the camera does notstop recording when the
card is full. It erases the oldest files and continues recording.
•See section Icons and settings above for details about the options.
8.8 Viewing Files
To view a picture or a recording:
•Tap the Playback icon .
•Tap the type of file you want to view .
•Select the file from the list.
•Tap ►or ◄to browse through the files.
The images are shown in the background.
•Tap the Playback icon to exit.
8.9 Deleting Files
To delete a picture or a recording:
•Tap the Playback icon .
•Tap the type of file you want to delete .
•Select the file from the list.
•Tap Delete.
•Tap Yes twice to confirm.

•Tap the Playback icon to exit.
9. Managing files from your Computer
You can manage files on the SD card by connecting the camera to a
computer. To do so:
1. Switch on the camera.
2. Connect the USB port of the camera [14] to a USB port of your
computer with the included USB cable.
•The camera appears as a removable diskon your computer.
•The camera saves the files in the following folders
oVIDEO: recordings taken in video mode
oCAR: recordings taken in vehicle mode
oJPG: pictures
Note
The camera functions cannotbe used while the camera is connected
to your computer.
When done, safely remove the device from your computer:
Windows®
To safely remove the device:
1. Click the icon Safely Remove Hardware in the notification area
at the right of the taskbar and click the device that you want to
remove.
Windows will display a notification telling you it's safe to remove
the device.
2. Unplug the device from the USB port.
Macintosh®
1. In the Finder, click the Eject icon next to the device.
2. Unplug the device from the USB port.

10. Remote Control
Make sure the remote control contains a battery.
•Point the remote to the infrared eye on the camera.
•The remote has the following buttons
oP o we r: turns off the camera.
oSnap: takes a picture.
oVideo: records video.
11. Waterproof Housing
The camera comes with a waterproof housing. It is recommended to
test the housing without the camera before use.
•Before sealing the waterproof case, make sure the camera
housing’s rubber seal is clean. A single hair or grain of sand can
cause a leak. You can test the housing by closing the case without
inserting the camera. Submerse the case completely in water for
aboutaminute. Remove the case from the water, dry off its
exterior with a towel, then open the case. If the entire interior is
dry, the case is safe for use under water.
•Re member to put the camera in the desired mode before inserting
the camera in the waterproof case. There is no external button to
change the camera mode.
•Afterevery use in salt water, you will need to rinse the outside of
the housing with non-salt water and dry it. Not doing this can
eventually cause corrosion of the hinge pin and salt build-up in the
seal, which can cause failure.
•To clean the seal, rinse in fresh water and shake dry. Drying the
seal with a cloth may cause the seal to leak. Re-install the seal
into the grooves in the backdoor of the housing.

1. Inleiding
Aan alle ingezetenen van de Europese Unie
Belangrijke milieu-informatie betreffende dit product
Dit symbool op het toestel of de verpakking geeftaan dat,
als het na zijn levenscyclus wordt weggeworpen, dit toestel
schade kan toebrengen aan het milieu. Gooi dit toestel (en

Schade door wijzigingen die de gebruiker heeft aangebracht aan
het toestel valt nietonderde garantie.
•Gebruik het toestelenkel waarvoor hetgemaakt is. De garantie
vervalt automatisch bij ongeoorloofd gebruik.

De garantie geldtniet voorschade door het negeren van bepaalde
richtlijnen in deze handleiding en uw dealer zal de

6. Een geheugenkaart plaatsen
•Plaats demicroSD-kaart in het kaartslot. De pijl geeft aan hoe u
de kaart moetplaatsen.
•Om demicroSD-kaart te verwijderen, druk voorzichtig op de
geheugenkaart en daarna kunt u de SD-kaart eruit trekken.
Opmerking
Voor 1080P video-opname raden wij u aan om een SD-
geheugenkaart van 8 GB (of hoger) met snelheidsklasse 10 te
gebruiken.
7. De camera opladen
•Om de camera op te laden, sluit u de USB-poort van de camera
[14] aan op een USB-poort van uw computer met de
meegeleverde USB-kabel.
•
De rode led [3] lichtop wanneer de camera aan hetopladen is en
schakelt uit wanneer de batterij volledig opgeladen is. Hetduurt
ongeveer 2 à 4 uur, om de camera volledig op te laden.
•U kunt de camerafuncties nietgebruiken zolang de camera
aangesloten is op uw computer.
•Is de aangesloten camera ingeschakeld, dan kunt u de bestanden
op de SD-kaart van de camera openen.
•Raadpleeg 'Veiligheudsinstructies' voor het verwijderen van de
batterij.
8. Gebruik
8.1 De camera in- en uitschakelen

Om de camera uit te schakelen, druk kort
op de aan/uit-knop .
Energiebesparende
modus
Als u de camera gedurende een bepaalde
tijd niet gebruikt, dan gaat het toestel
over in energiebesparende modus. De led
aan de achterkant [4] licht op.
Hetscherm
uitschakelen
U kunt het scherm uitschakelen met de
k no p Sche rm in-/uitschakelen [5].
8.2 De tijd en datum instellen
1. Druk op het icoontje DATE/TIME op het scherm.
2. Gebruik de pijltjes ▲en ▼om een instelling te wijzigen.
3. Gebruik de pijltjes ►en ◄om naar een ander item te gaan (dag,
maand, jaar, minuten, seconden en datumfo rm aa t).
4. Druk op het icoontje SET.
8.3 Cameramodi
De camera heeft 3 modi, linksboven weergegeven op het scherm
d.m.v. een icoontje.

Bij het inschakelen start de camera altijd op in videomodus. Druk op
hetmodusicoontje totde gewenste modus geactiveerd is.
8.4 Iconen en Instellingen
De iconen gebruiken
Om de iconen te gebruiken
•Druk op een functie-icoontje om de opties weer te geven.
De opties worden onderaan hetscherm weergegeven.
•Druk op de gewenste optie.
•Druk nogmaals op het functie-icoontje om te annuleren.

Generieke iconen
De onderstaande iconen zijn beschikbaar in alle modi (video, foto,
voertuig)
de datum en tijd instellen
batterijniveau
afspelen
inzoomen - uitzoomen
De zoomfactor wordt tussen de beide iconen
weergegeven.
Iconen in fotomodus
De specifieke functies voor fotomodus zijn:
Gezichtsdetectie in- of uitschakelen.
De beeldresolutie instellen.
Het getal naast het icoontje toont het
resterend aantal foto's op de geheugenkaart
in de geselecteerde resolutie (afhankelijk
van de grootte van de SD-kaart).
[Shooting modes]
Het icoontje geeft de huidige opnamemodus
weer.
Er is geen opnamemodus ingesteld.
Zelfontspanner
Na 10 seconden wordteen foto genomen
nadat u de sluiterknop hebt ingedrukt.
Continu-opname
Neemt 3 foto's met één druk op de
sluiterknop.
Iconen in videomodus
De videoresolutie instellen.
De tijd naast het icoontje toont de resterende
opnametijd in de geselecteerde resolutie
(afhankelijk van de grootte van de SD-kaart).

Iconen in voertuigmodus
De camerabeelden omdraaien. Deze functie is
handig wanneer de camera ondersteboven
gehouden wordt.
De videoresolutie instellen.
De tijd naast heticoontje toontde resterende
opnametijd in de geselecteerde resolutie
(afhankelijk van de grootte van de SD-kaart).
8.5 Een videobestand opnemen
•Bij het inschakelen, start de camera op in videomodus .
Bevindt de camera zich in een andere modus, druk dan op het
modusicoontje om de modus te wijzigen.
•Druk op de sluiterknop om te beginnen opnemen.
Hetscherm geeft de opnametijd weer.
•Druk nogmaals op de sluiterknop om de opname te stoppen.
Opmerkingen
•Als de SD-kaart vol is, dan stopt de camera met opnemen.
8.6 Foto's maken
•
Druk op het modusicoontje om de camera in fotomodus te zetten
.
•Druk op de sluiterknop om een foto te maken.
Voormeer informatie over de opties, zie "Iconen en instellingen".
8.7 Voertuigmodus
•Druk op het modusicoontje om de camera in voertuigmodus te
zetten. .
•Druk op de sluiterknop om de opname te beginnen.
Hetscherm geeft de opnametijd weer.
•Druk nogmaals op de sluiterknop om de opname te stoppen.
Opmerkingen
•In voertuigmodus stopt de camera niet met opnemen als de SD-
kaart vol is. De recorder wist het oudste bestand en blijft
opnemen.
•
Voormeer informatie over de opties, zie "Iconen en instellingen".

8.8 Bestanden weergeven
Een foto of opname weergeven:
•Druk op hetafspeelicoontje .
•Druk op het bestandstype dat u wilt weergeven .
•Selecteer het bestand in de lijst.
•Druk op ►of ◄om door de bestanden te bladeren.
De afbeeldingen worden als achtergrond weergegeven.
•Druk op hetafspeelicoontje om af te sluiten.
8.9 Bestanden wissen
Een foto of opname wissen:
•Druk op hetafspeelicoontje .
•Druk op het bestandstype dat u wilt wissen .
•Selecteer het bestand in de lijst.
•Druk op Delete.
•Druk tweemaal op Yes om te bevestigen.
•Druk op hetafspeelicoontje om af te sluiten.
9. Bestanden beheren van uw computer
U kunt bestanden op de SD-kaart beheren doorde camera aan te
sluiten op een computer. Ga als volgtte werk:
1. Schakel de camera in.
2. Sluit de USB-poort van de camera [14] aan op een USB-poort
van uwcomputermetdemeegeleverde USB-kabel.
•De
camera wordt weergegeven als een verwisselbare schijf op uw
compute r.
•De camera slaat de bestanden op in de volgende mappen
oVIDEO: opnames gemaakt in videomodus
oCAR: opnames gemaakt in voertuigmodus
oJPG: afbeeldingen
Opmerking
U kunt de camerafuncties niet gebruiken zolang de camera
aangesloten is op uw computer.

Wanneer u klaar bent, verwijdert u het toestel veilig van uw
compute r.
Windows®
Om het toestel veilig te verwijderen:
1. Klik op het icoontje Safely Remove Hardware (hardware veilig
verwijderen) in het systeemvak rechts op de taakbalk en klik
op het toestel datu wilt verwijderen.
Windows geefthet volgende bericht weer: toestel kan veilig
verwijderd worden.
2. Ontkoppel het toestel van de USB-poort.
Macintosh®
1. Klik in de Finder op heteject-ico on tje (uitwerpen) naast het
toeste l.
2. Ontkoppel het toestel van de USB-poort.
10. Afstandsbediening
Controleer of er een batterij in de afstandsbediening zit.
•Richt de afstandsbediening op de infraroodsensor van de camera.
•Toetsen op de afstandsbediening
oP o we r: de camera uitschakelen.
oSnap: een foto nemen.
oVideo: video opnemen.
11. Waterdichte cassette
De camera wordt geleverd meteen waterdichte cassette. Testde
cassette zonder camera voor u het toestel gebruikt.
•Controleer of de rubberpakking proper is voor het afdichten van
de waterdichte cassette. Een enkel haartje of zandkorrel kan een
lek veroorzaken. U kunt dit testen door de cassette te sluiten
zonder de camera erin te plaatsen. Dompel de cassette gedurende
één minuut geheel onder in water. Neem de cassette uit het
water, droog de buitenkantafmeteen handdoek en open de
