6. Operati n
6.1 Inserting a Mem ry Card
Make sure to insert a memory card before using your camera.
•Push the microSD card into the card s ot. The arrow on the cover
indicates how to insert the card.
•To take out the microSD card, gent y press the end of the memory card
and it wi pop up.

6.2 Charging the Camera
•To charge the camera, connect the USB s ot of the camera [3] to a USB
port of your computer with the inc uded USB cab e.
•The charging indicator [12] ights up when the camera is charging and
turns off when fu y charged. Charging takes about 2-4 hours. For an
optima charging process, make sure not to power the camera whi e
charging.
•The camera functions cannot be used whi e connected to your
computer.
•If the camera is turned on whi e connected to the computer, you can
access the fi es on the camera's SD card.
•See Safety Instructi ns above for detai s about battery disposa .
6.3 P wering the Camera On and Off
•P wering n the camera:
To turn on the camera, press and ho d the power button for 3
seconds.
•P wering ff the camera:
To turn off the camera, press the power button brief y.
•Aut matic shutd wn:
The camera wi automatica y shut down when id e. Defau t id e time is
5 minutes.
•Shutd wn at p wer sh rtage:
The disp ay wi show a battery icon when battery power is ow. P ease
charge in time. The camera wi automatica y shut down when battery
power is insufficient.

6.7 Deleting the Selected File

6.8 Date and Time Setting
1. C ick the icon on the disp ay.
2. Set date and time.
3. Press the shutter button [6] to confirm.
6.9 C nnecting the Camera t Y ur C mputer
You can manage fi es on the SD card by connecting the camera to a
computer. To do so:
1. Switch on the camera.
2. Connect the USB s ot of the camera [3] to a USB port of your
computer with the inc uded USB cab e.
•The camera appears as a removab e disk on your computer.
•The camera saves the fi es in the fo owing fo ders:
opictures and videos: I:\DCIM\100MEDIA
ovideos in vehic e mode: I:\DCIM\RECORDER

The camera functions cannot be used whi e the camera is connected to your
computer.
When done, safe y remove the device from your computer:

the right of the taskbar and c ick the device that you want to remove.

7. Waterpr f H using
The camera comes with a waterproof housing. It is recommended to test the
housing without the camera before use.
•Before sea ing the waterproof case, make sure the camera housing’s
rubber sea is c ean. A sing e hair or grain of sand can cause a eak. You
can test the housing by c osing the case without inserting the camera.
Submerse the case comp ete y in water for about a minute. Remove the
case from the water, dry off its exterior with a towe , then open the
case. If the entire interior is dry, the case is safe for use under water.
•Remember to put the camera in the desired mode before inserting the
camera in the waterproof case. There is no externa button to change
the camera mode.
•After every use in sa t water, you wi need to rinse the outside of the
housing with non-sa t water and dry it. Not doing this can eventua y
cause corrosion of the hinge pin and sa t bui d-up in the sea , which can
cause fai ure.
•To c ean the sea , rinse in fresh water and shake dry. Drying the sea
with a c oth may cause the sea to eak. Re-insta the sea into the
grooves in the backdoor of the housing.

1. Inleiding

Dit symboo op het toeste of de verpakking geeft aan dat, a s het
toeste na zijn evenscyc us wordt weggeworpen, dit toeste schade
kan toebrengen aan het mi ieu. Gooi dit toeste (en eventue e
batterijen) niet bij het gewone huishoude ijke afva ; het moet bij
een gespecia iseerd bedrijf terechtkomen voor recyc age. U moet dit
toeste naar uw dea er of naar een okaa recyc agepunt brengen. Respecteer

2. Veiligheidsinstructies
WAARSCHUWING
U mag batterijen nooit doorboren of in het vuur gooien
(exp osiegevaar).
Houd batterijen buiten het bereik van kinderen.
Dit toeste bevat een her aadbare batterij. Wanneer het toeste
het einde van zijn evensduur heeft bereikt, ontdoe u er dan
van vo gens de p aatse ijke rege geving.
Demonteer of open dit toeste NOOIT. Er zijn geen onderde en
in het toeste die door de gebruiker gerepareerd kunnen
worden.
3. Algemene richtlijnen

•Bescherm het toeste tegen stof en extreme temperaturen.
•Bescherm het toeste tegen schokken. Vermijd brute kracht tijdens de
bediening van het toeste .
•Richt de camera nooit naar de zon of naar andere weerkaatsende
objecten.
•Bedek de ens nooit.
•Leer eerst de functies van het toeste kennen voor u het gaat
gebruiken.

toeste . Schade door wijzigingen die de gebruiker heeft aangebracht aan

•Gebruik het toeste enke waarvoor het gemaakt is. De garantie verva t
automatisch bij ongeoor oofd gebruik.
•De garantie ge dt niet voor schade door het negeren van bepaa de

6. Gebruik
6.1 Een geheugenkaart plaatsen
Wees er zeker van dat er een geheugenkaart ingep ugd is
voora eer u de camera gaat gebruiken.

•P aats de microSD-kaart in de kaarts euf. De pij geeft aan hoe u de
kaart moet p aatsen.
•Om de microSD-kaart te verwijderen, drukt u voorzichtig op de
geheugenkaart om vervo gens de SD-kaart eruit te trekken.

6.2 De camera pladen
•Om de camera op te aden, s uit u de USB-poort van de camera [3] aan
op een USB-poort van uw computer met de meege everde USB-kabe .
•De op aadindicator [12] icht op wanneer de camera aan het op aden is
en gaat uit wanneer de batterij vo edig opge aden is. Het duurt
ongeveer 2 à 4 uur om de camera vo edig op te aden. Voor een
optima e op ading aat u de camera uit tijdens het op aden.
•Zo ang de camera aanges oten is op uw computer, kunt u de
camerafuncties niet gebruiken
•Is de aanges oten camera ingeschake d, dan kunt u de bestanden op de
SD-kaart van de camera openen.
•Raadp eeg Veiligheidsinstructies bovenaan voor het verwijderen
van de batterij.
6.3 De camera in- en uitschakelen
•Camera inschakelen:
Houd de aan/uit-knop gedurende 3 seconden ingedrukt om de
camera in te schake en.
•Camera uitschakelen:
Om de camera uit te schake en, drukt u kort op de aan/uit-knop .
•Aut matisch uitschakelen:
Camera schake t zich automatisch uit bij niet-gebruik. Standaard
inactiviteitsduur is 5 minuten.
•Uitschakeling bij energietek rt:
Er verschijnt een batterij-symboo bij age batterij. Ge ieve tijdig op te
aden. Bij ontoereikend batterijvermogen schake t de camera zich
automatisch uit.
6.4 Indicat ren

De werkingsindicator icht op wanneer de camera ingeschake d is of
wordt gebruikt.

het bee dscherm zich uitschake t tijdens opnames om energie te
besparen.

6.9 Sluit de camera aan p uw c mputer
U kunt bestanden op de SD-kaart beheren door de camera aan te s uiten op
een computer. Ga a s vo gt te werk:
1. Schake de camera in.
2. S uit de USB-poort van de camera [3] aan op een USB-poort van uw
computer met de meege everde USB-kabe .
•De camera wordt weergegeven a s een verwisse bare schijf op uw
computer.
