Thisinductioncooker is combinedwithadvancedtheories and other manufactures
advantages , whichmakes it of novelhigh quality. It is safeandenvironmental friendly,
whichwillbringyou convenienceandgreatfeelingwhileusingit.

TheOperatingInstructions must be availableatalltimeswhileoperatingthe induction
plate. This Operating Manual must bereadandappliedbyeveryperson whoisinstructed

2.3.1DangerduetoElectromagneticField
WARNING
The magneticfieldsgeneratedduringoperationoftheappliancemayleadto
adverse effects.
Adheretothe followingsafetyinstructions:
►Peoplewithelevatedelectricalsensitivityshouldnotremainintheimmediatevicinity
oftheappliancefor longerthanisnecessary.

►Scientific tests haveproven thatinductionhotplates donotposearisk. However,
personswithapacemakershouldkeep aminimumdistanceof 60cmtothe device
whileitis inoperation.Inaddition, personswithapacemaker shouldclear withtheir
doctorwhether totakecareofsomespecialhandlingadvises.Donot placeany
magnetisableobjects, e.g.credit cards, datacarriersor cassettesonor inthe
immediatevicinityoftheappliance.
►Placecookingutensils inthemiddleof thehob, sothatthebaseofthepot coversas
muchofthe electromagnetic fieldas possible.
►Donotremoveanycoveringson the appliance.
2.3.2Dangerof Burning
WARNING
Theitemscookedonthisapplianceas well as thecooking utensilsusedandthe
surfaceof theappliance canbecomeveryhot.
Adheretothe followingsafetyinstructions inorder toavoidburning or scaldingyourselfor
others:
►Protect your handsduringallworkatthe hot appliancebyusingheat insulating gloves,
dishclothsor similar.
►Donotplaceanymetalcookingutensils, pot orpan lids,knives orothermetalobjects
onthehob.When the applianceisswitchedon,theseitems can becomeveryhot.
►Donottouchthe hot surfaceoftheceramichob.
The inductioncookeritself doesnot produceanyheatduringthecooking process,but
the temperatureofthecookingutensils heats thehotplate.
2.3.3Dangerof Explosion

Incorrect use oftheapplianceincursadangerof explosion duetothe overpressure
produced.
Adheretothe followingsafetyinstructions inorder topreventadanger of explosion:
►Neverheatfoodorliquids insealedcontainerssuchas, for example,cans.The
containercanburst duetotheoverpressure generated.Acanis best heatedby
openingit anplacingit inapot filled withalittlewater.
2.3.4Dangerof Fire
WARNING
Thereisariskof fireifthe applianceisusedincorrectly.
Adheretothe followingsafetyinstructions inorder toavoidarisk offire:
►Duringoperationremovealleasilyinflammableitems(e.g.detergents, aerosol cans,
oven,cloths anddishcloths, etc.)fromtheimmediatevicinityofthe appliance.

►Avoidoverheatingoils andfats forextended periods. Overheated oilandfat can ignite
rapidly.
►Donot placeanyemptycookwareonthe cookingarea.
Pleasenote
If afire shouldoccuron thecooking hob,proceed as follows:

Smothertheflameswith alargepot lid,plate oramoistdishcloth.

Afterthefirehas beenextinguishedallowcookingutensilsand theappliance
to cool downand ensurethat thereisasufficientflowoffreshair.
2.3.5Dangersdueto electricalpower

Mortal danger existswhencomingintocontact with live wires orsubassemblies!
Observe thefollowing safetynoticesto avoid dangers due to electrical power:
►Onlyqualified electricians, maycarryouttheinstallation!
►Ifthe connection lead is damaged, youwill needtohaveaspecialconnectionlead
installed byan authorizedelectrician.
►Ifthe surfaceiscracked, switchoff theapplianceandswitchoff thefusetoavoidthe
possibilityof electric shock.
►Donotoperatethisdeviceifits powercableor plug is damaged,ifitdoesnot work
properlyorifit is damagedor has been dropped.Ifthe power cableis damaged,itwill
need tobereplaced by themanufacturerorhis serviceagencyorasimilar qualified
person, toavoidanydangers.
►Donotopenthe housing onthe deviceunder anycircumstances.Thereis adanger
of an electricalshock if liveconnectionsaretouchedand theelectricalor mechanical
structureis altered. Inaddition, functional faults onthedevicecan alsooccur.
►Donottouchthe applianceorthe mains plugwithwethands.
►Donotimmersetheapplianceinwaterorother liquids,anddonot putit inthe
dishwasher.
►Donotinsertobjects intothe openingsof theappliance.Thereisarisk of electrocution
ifcontact is madewithvoltage-carrying connections.

3) COMMISSIONING
This chapter provides you with important safetynoticesduring theinitial commissioning of

3.2Deliveryscopeandtransport inspection

►Immediatelynotifythecarrier,theinsuranceandthe supplieraboutanyincomplete
shipmentordamagesasaresult of inadequatepackagingor duetotransportation.
3.3Unpacking
Tounpack thedevice, removethedeviceoutof thecarton andremovethe
packagingmaterial.
3.4Disposalof thepackaging
Thepackagingprotects thedeviceagainst damagesduringtransit.The packaging
materialsareselectedinaccordancewithenvironmentallycompatibleand
recycling-relatedpoints ofviewand cantherefore berecycled.
Returningthe packaging back tothe materialloopsavesrawmaterials andreduces
thequantities of accumulatedwaste.Takeanypackagingmaterialsthatareno
longer requiredto “GreenDot”recyclingcollectionpoints for disposal.

►Ifpossible,keeptheoriginal packaging for the devicefortheduration of theguarantee
periodofthe device,inorder thatthe devicecanbere-packaged properlyintheevent

3.5Setup
3.5.1Setuplocation requirements:
·Inorder toensurethesafeandtrouble-free operationofthedevice,thesetup
location must fulfill the following prerequisites:
·Theappliancemust bepositioned onasolid, even,horizontalandheat-resistant
basewithsufficient load-supporting capacityfor theapplianceitself plus the
heaviest anticipatedcookingcontents.
·Theinductioncookermust notbe operatedonabasewithan iron orsteel content,
asthiscan heatupconsiderably.
·Select aninstallationlocationwherechildren cannot reachtheappliance shot
surface.
·Theapplianceis notintendedasabuilt-inappliance.
·Donot setup thedeviceinahot, wet orextremelydampenvironment ornear
flammablematerial.
·Donot setup theinductioncooker inthevicinityofapplianceand objects which
react sensitivelytomagneticfields (e.g.: Radios, televisions, cassetterecorders,
etc.).
·To operatecorrectly,the appliancerequires asufficientflowofair.Leavea10cm
gaponall sideswhen settinguptheappliance.
·Thecoolairisdrawninbytheundersideof theappliance.Donotcover or block any
ofthe appliancesopenings.
·Theelectrical socket must beeasilyaccessiblesothatthe power leadcanbe
disconnectedeasily,inthecaseof anemergency.
·Theinstallationandassemblyofthis deviceinnon-stationarysetup locations(e.g.
onships)mustbecarriedoutbyspecialist companies/ electricians,provided
theyguarantee theprerequisites for thesafeuseofthis device.

3.5.2PreventingRadiointerference
Theappliancecancauseinterferencetoradios, televisionsorsimilardevices.
Interferencecan beremoved or reducedusingthefollowingmeasures:
·Placetheradio, television etc. as far awayfromthe applianceaspossible.
·Connect theappliancetoadifferent socket, sothatdifferentelectriccircuits are
being usedfor theapplianceandthereceiver experiencinginterference.
·Useacorrectlyinstalled aerial for the receiver inordertoensuregoodreception.
3.6Electrical connection
Inordertoensurethesafeandtrouble-freeoperation ofthe device,the
followinginstructionsmustbeobserved for theelectrical connection:
·Before connectingthedevice,comparetheconnection data(voltageand
frequency)
·onthe ratingplatewiththoseof yourelectrical network. Thisdatamust
agreeinorder that nodamagesoccurinthedevice. Ifindoubt, ask your
qualifiedelectrician.
·Theelectricaloutlet mustbe protectedbya16Asafetycut-out switch.
·Theconnectionbetweenthedeviceand the electrical networkmayemploya3
meter long(max.)extensioncablewithacross-sectionof 1.5mm².Theuseof
multipleplugsor gangs is prohibited becauseofthe dangeroffire that is
involvedwiththis.
·Makesurethat the power cableis undamaged and hasnotbeen installedunder
theovenor over hotorsharpsurfaces.
·Theelectrical safetyof the deviceis onlyguaranteed ifthedeviceis connected to
aproperlyinstalledprotectiveconductor system.Operationsusingan electrical
outletwithoutaprotectiveconductor areprohibited.If indoubt,havethehouse
installationcheckedover byaqualified electrician.
Themanufacturer cannotbe maderesponsiblefordamages thatarecaused
byamissing ordamaged protectiveconductor.
