Welcometo the growingfamilyofnewVENTURERVowners andthe
worldofrecreationalvehicletravel.The purchaseofyourVENTURE
RVproductallowsyoutoenterthistypeofcamping and leisure
travel.Yourcoachhasbeendesigned and engineeredto offermany
comfortsofhome. VENTURERecreationalVehiclesaredesigned
and constructedtobeusedastemporarylivingquarters forcamping
and traveluses. The coachesare not intended forhauling cargo.
Thisowner’smanualwasprepared to assistyouinunderstandingthe
properuseandoperationofvariouscontainment systems,servicing
and maintenanceofcomponent parts,and explanation ofyour
warrantyprotection. Ifthisis yourfirstRVtravelcoach, youwill want
to acquaint yourselfwith all aspectsand information found inthis
manualplusmanualssupplied bycomponent manufacturers.
Thesematerialswillreflectthe mostcurrent information availablefor
the user.Somecomponentsand itemsmaynot be inyourcoachas
theymaybe optionson different models.

information suppliedbythemanufacturers ofseparatelywarranted

product. Yourvehiclecomplieswith applicablerequirementsof
FederalMotorVehicleSafetyStandards,State Regulations,
CanadianStandardsAssociations(CSA)whereapplicable,and
complieswith requirementsofANSIStandard1192,the nationally
recognized“StandardforRecreationalVehicles – Installation of
Plumbing, HeatingandElectricalSystems.”The RecreationalVehicle
IndustryAssociation(RVIA)and CanadianStandardsAssociation
(CSA)periodicallyinspectourproduction linesandassistusin
maintainingstrict compliancewithinstallation andsafetystandardsfor
thosesystems. Yourfollow-up withperiodic safetyinspections
and aprogramof preventivemaintenance is important forthe
continuation of safe and trouble-free operation.

SAFETYCONSIDERATIONS______________________________
The terms NOTE,CAUTION, WARNING, and DANGER have
specificmeaningsinthismanualaswellascomponent manuals.
A NOTE providesadditionalinformation tomake a step orprocedure
easierorclearer.Disregardinga NOTE couldcauseinconvenience,
but would not be likelyto cause damage orpersonalinjury.
A CAUTION emphasizesareaswhereequipment damage could
result. Disregardinga CAUTION couldcause permanent mechanical
damage. However, personalinjuryisunlikely.
A WARNING isgivingnoticetouserthatpotentialinjuriesmay
occurto aperson fromequipment and mechanicalfailure.
Disregarding a Warning mayresultinseriousphysicalinjuryto
occupant.
A DANGER alertsareaswheresafetymeasuresMUSTbe strictly
adhered to, assuchfailurescan be dangerous.Disregarding a
Dangercould causing seriousinjuryand possible loss of life.
Reporting SafetyDefects
Ifyou believethat yourvehiclehasadefectwhichcouldcausea
crashorcouldcauseinjuryordeath, youshouldimmediatelyinform
the NationalHighwayTrafficSafetyAdministration(NHTSA)in
addition to notifying VENTURERV.
IfNHTSA inadditionreceivessimilarcomplaints,itmayopenan
investigation,andifitfindsthat asafetydefectexistsinagroup of
vehicles,itmayorderarecallandremedycampaign. However,
NHTSA cannot becomeinvolved inindividualproblemsbetween
you,yourdealerorVENTURERV.

Youcanalsoobtainotherinformation about motorvehiclesafety
fromthe Hotline.
SafetyWhenEmergencyStopping
It iswisetocarryroad flagsand/ortriangularwarning devicesto be
used whennecessary.When pulling off ahighway,useyourfour
wayhazardlightsaswarningflashers,evenifonlyto change
drivers.Pulloff the roadwaycompletelyifatallpossibleto change
flat tiresoranyotheremergencyneeds.
AdditionalSafetyConsiderations
1. Sanitizethe freshwatersupplysystemperiodically(see
sanitizinginstructions).
2. Keepwaterconnectionfittingsfromcoming incontactwiththe
ground ordrainhose to reduce chanceofcontamination.
3. EnlistservicesofaQualified RVTechnician tofixpropaneor
electricalappliances,oranyothergasorelectricalsystem
problem.
4. Alwayshaveaserviceablefireextinguisherplaced inan easily
accessiblelocation.
5. Insurethattiresareingoodconditionandproperlyinflated.
Watchtireinflation closely.Under-inflated tireswilloverheat.
Overheatedtiresareapotentialhazardastheymaythrow
rubberandcauseablow-out. Checkthe tirepressurebefore
each tripwhile the tiresarecold.
6. Checkand tighten the wheellugsregularly(every50 mileswhen
newuntil200 milesarereached and then checkthe lugsevery
500 miles).
7. Checkthe brakesinasafearea – notwhiletraveling on abusy
highway.
8. Alwaysblockthe trailerwheelssolidlybeforeunhitching.
9. Before leaving a camp areawitha trailerintow,insure:
a. The safetypinorlocking leverisseated.
b. The breakawaywire isattached tothetowvehicle.
c. Alljacksare raised so that theycannot touch the ground.
d. The 110-voltelectricalcordisproperlystored.

e. The safetychainsare connected.
f. Allinteriorlightsare off.
10. Observe and obeythe warning labelsattachedto yourvehicle
concerning propane, water,electricityand loading.
11. Extinguish all campfiresbefore leavingyourcampsite.
EXTENDED OR COLD WEATHER USE
YourVENTURErecreationalvehiclehasbeenbuiltforenjoymentin
arecreationalmanner.Thisrecreationalvehicleisnot intended to be
used asfull-timeliving quarters.Noristhisafourseason unit. Using
thisunitinfreezing conditionsisnot recommended. However,ifunit
isused infreezingweather,following areguidelinesto follow.Any
problemsresulting fromfreezing are not coveredunderwarranty.
1. For winteruseinfreezing conditions,moreprotection maybe
required. Useskirting and/orinsulation belowfloorlevelto
provide additionalprotection.
2. Remember,waterfreezesat 32oFahrenheitwhetherfreshor
drainage.Propercaremustbe used to protectanysystemat 32o
Fahrenheitorlower.Localrecreationalvehicledealers and
campground personnelmaybe ableto adviseyouonneeded
protection.
3. Energyrequirements,suchaspropane andelectricalsupplies
mustbe adequate. Protectyourpropane regulatorfromfreeze-
ups.
4. Duringcoldweatheryou willexperiencemorecondensationthan
normal. Using ventilation ora dehumidifiermaybe needed.
CONDENSATION_______________________________________

Condensation isnot a warrantyissue.
Causes:
A. When cooking food ortakingashower,warmmoistaircirculates
throughoutthecoachattachingitselfto coolersurfaces,forming
beadsand runningdown wallorwindow

B. Normalbreathing willemitapproximately1/2pint ofmoisture
intotheairperperson, perday.The more occupantsthe greater
quantityofcondensationyou mayfind.
Solutions:
1. When taking ashower,open bathroofvent approximately½
inch allowing moisture to escape.
2. Use the powervent overrange whencooking.
3. Ifcondensation isfound incabinet orclosets, open doorslightly
toequalize temperatureand provideventilation.
4. Opening windowsand roofvents,when possible, allowing warm
moist airtoescapeisthe bestwayto reduce condensation.
5. Underextreme conditions,you mayneed to use a dehumidifier
to remove moist airconditions.
Uncontrolled condensationcan causedampness,mildew,etc.,
insideyourrecreationalvehicle.Besureto makestrong effortsto
controlcondensation.
Continuouslivinginyourrecreational vehicle couldcause acceleratedwear
to components above recreational use.

INTERIORVENTILATION
Anewcoachalwayshasapeculiararomainitdue to allthe
componentsused to build it, such aspaneling, plywood, carpet and
fabrics.
Allowingfreshairtomoveandcirculatethroughoutanew
recreationalvehicleisveryvaluableforseveralreasons.
1. Componentsusedto buildRV’salwayshave a “new”smell to
them, possiblyirritatingthe respiratorysystemofthe human
bodyonwarmdays.
2. Fresh airisalwaysgood forthe human bodyunless allergies
area factor.
Numerouswaysareprovided toexchange airin coaches.
1. Open windowsonnon-rainydays,allowing airexchange
between inside and outside.
2. Powerhoodventabove cooking stovewillsend heat and food
smell outside.
3. Roofvent; numeroustypes;
a. Standard airflowusing gravityflow method.
b. Power(12vor110v)ventswill moveairfaster.
c. Hi-volume powervents, operation in12 volt powercan
exchange airina coach in severalminutesifwindows
areopen accordingly.Ifthereisa fan inthe rear, open
window(s) in front.
Different brands/modelshavedifferent features,suchasremote
control, rainsensor,variable speed controlswitch, etc.

YourauthorizedVENTURERVdealerhasperformed aPDI (pre-
deliveryinspection)onyourrecreationalvehicle.Sinceyourdealer
isauthorized to sell VENTURERVproducts,theyarealsothereto
supplyparts,optionalequipment, and provide servicerepairs,
warrantyorotherwise asneeded.
Firstchoiceforwarrantyrepairs isyourselling VENTURERV
dealer.Otherdealers canbeused, however,priorapprovalis
required.
Somerecreationalvehicledealers maybe authorized service
centers forcertainmanufacturers ofproductswarranted separately,
suchasappliances.Checkwithyourdealerbeforecontacting
anyoneelsetoreducedelays.Ifthedealerisnotan authorized
servicecenterforthe productinquestion, hecan assistyou in
obtaining authorized service.
Factory
Servicerepairs can be performed at the manufacturing facilityat
Shipshewana,Indiana. ShouldyourVENTURERVproductbe in
needofmajorrepairs and yourdealerrecommendsfactoryrepairs,
please followthe stepslisted belowforsuchwork.
1. Yourdealer must makean appointment withservicepersonnel
at the factoryPRIOR toyourarrival.
2. Anyfreightcosts,aretheresponsibilityofthe owneraslisted in
the warrantycoverage schedule.
Parts
Stocking ofpartsvariesfromdealerto dealer.Anyauthorized dealer
can orderanyrequiredpartto be shippedtotheirdealership.All
partsare obtained throughauthorized VENTURERVdealers only.
Owner’s Responsibility
When owningandusing arecreationalvehicle, itis important to
performregularand normalmaintenance. Thisisrecommended
twiceayear,spring and fall,to prevent undesireddeterioration of
yourcoach. Weatherelementsplayan importantfunction on
sealantsand othercomponentsrequiring normalmaintenance.

Asan ownerandoperator,itisyourresponsibilityandobligation to
inspectandreturnyourcoachtoanauthorizeddealerforrepairs as
required. Yourauthorizedsellingdealerisalwaysyourfirstchoice

manufacturer,werecommend that inspectionandservicebe
performed byyourselling dealership.

Unauthorizedorimproperrepairs mayvoidthewarrantyofthat
component.Alwayskeep yourowner’smanualalongwithacopyof
yourwarrantyregistration with youwhen traveling.
Seasonal Site
When placingyouruniton acampsite inthespringand returningit
in the fallto yourhome, it’sclassed asa “seasonalsite.”
Performing repairworkon suchasite isnot recommended for
numerousreasons;available parts, tools,space, weatherconditions,
etc.
Anyservicerepairs whichrequireaservicetechnicianalsorequire
the unitto betaken toaservicefacility,preferablyyourselling
dealer.
Warrantycoverage doesnot include triporservicecall costsfor
such a trip. It istheowners responsibilitytoprovide forsuch costs.

camperspurchasedfromanysource other thananauthorizedVentureRVdeal-

EXCLUSIONS FROMWARRANTY: Excludedfromcoverageunderthe
TLWare: (1) itemsadded, changed, or modifiedafter theunit lefttheposses-
sionofVentureRV; (2) unitsusedfor anycommercial purpose; (3) unitsused
for full-timeresidentialuseor morethanoccasional recreational use;(4) wear
andtear causedbynormal usagebytheconsumer, including butnotlimitedto
fadingor discolorationofsoftgoods[e.g., tents, upholstery,drapes, carpet,vi-
nyl,screens, cushions, andmattresses], fadingor discolorationofexterior or
fiberglass components, tears, punctures, soiling,mildew,mold, andtheeffects
ofmoisturecondensationinsidetheunit; (5) theeffectsofalteration, tampering,
mishandling, neglect, abuse, misuse,weather, actsofnature, actsofGod, or
corrosiveatmospheresthat promote rusting, oxidation, or pitting;(6) minor im-
perfectionsthat do notinterfereor affect thesuitabilityoftheunit for itsintend-
eduse; (7) theeffectsofconsumer’sor transferee’sfailuretoperformnormal
androutinemaintenance [e.g.,inspections, lubrication, adjustments, tightening
ofscrewsandbolts, tightening oflugnutsandwheels, sealing, rotating, clean-
ing, or other damagesresultingfromfailingtofollowthemaintenance schedule
andproceduresintheownersmanual; (8) damagesresultingfrommisalignment
or adjustmentstoaxlesor spindlescausedbyimpropermaintenance,modifica-
tion, loading,unloading, roadhazards, roaddefects, off roadtravel, or tirefail-
ures;(9) damagescausedbythenegligentor intentional useor misuseofthe
unitbytheconsumer or transferee, including butnotlimitedtooccurrences
while towing theunit; (10) loss or damagecausedbyapersonor business asa
result oftransportingtheunit after sale totheconsumer, deliveringtheunit, or
parkingtheunit; (11) loss or damagetotheplumbingsystemcausedbyfreez-
ing;(12) claimsfor personal injuriesofanytype; (13) costsoftransportationof
theunit for repairs;and(14) componentsthatarewarrantedseparatelybyan-
othermanufacturer [thewarrantyprovidedbyacomponentmanufacturer isthe
sole responsibilityofthat manufacturer, andVentureRVdoesnotwarrantthose

WITHINTHE WARRANTYPERIOD. Sufficientinformationmustbegiven
toattempttoresolvetheclaimedproblem. ShouldVentureRVdeterminethat
repair orreplacementisappropriate, theconsumermustdeliver theunittothe
dealer or service center asdirected. Deliveryshall occurnolater thanthirty
(30) daysafter theauthorizationfor repair or replacement. Donotdeliveryour
unittoVentureRV, anauthorizeddealer, or service centerwithoutprior au-
thorization. All costsincurredbytheconsumer for transportationfor warranty
service shall bethesole responsibilityoftheconsumer. Theconsumermust
contact VentureRVbyCERTIFIEDMAILwithawrittendescriptionofthe
claimedwarranteddefect andtheeffortstoremedyit. FAILURE TOSO NO-
TIFY VentureRVINTHISREGARDSHALLRENDERTHISTLWVOID
AS TOTHE CLAIMEDDEFECT. Thescheduling ofwarrantyworkat an
authorizeddealer or service center isnotcontrolledbyVentureRVanddelays
maybeexperienced. VentureRVisnotresponsible for loss ofuseoftheunit,
expensesfor fuel, telephone, food, lodging, travel, loss ofincomeor revenue,
or loss ofor damagetopersonal property.

MISCELLANEOUS: Norepairorreplacementeffectedshall causeany
extensionor renewal ofthewarrantyperiod. VentureRVmaymakepartsand/
or design changesfromtimetotimewithoutnotice andrepairsor replacements
maybemadewithnewor differentparts. VentureRVreservestherightto
makechangesinthedesign or material ofitsproductswithoutincurringany
obligationtoincorporate suchchangesinanyproduct previouslymanufac-
tured. AtVentureRV’s, sole option, anydispute concerninganywarranted
defect mayberesolvedthroughmediationor arbitration. ThisTLWshall be
governedbythelawsoftheState ofIndiana, andanylegal actionshall be
broughtonlyintheCircuit or Superior CourtofLaGrangeCounty, Indiana. In
caseofconflictsbetweenthisTLWandanyotherwarrantiesissuedor con-
veyedbyVentureRV, thetermsofthisTLWshall govern.
ALTERNATIVEDISPUTE RESOLUTION: Thepartiesshall attemptin
good faithtoresolveanydisputesbynegotiations. Ifunsuccessful,Venture
RVmay, initssole discretion,elect tosubmitthematter tobindingarbitration
and, ifsuchelectionisexercised, theconsumer covenantsand agreesthat he,
she, they, or it shall submit anysuchdisputestosuchbindingarbitration. The
arbitral bodyshall beeither theAmericanArbitrationAssociationor theNa-
tional ArbitrationFoundation,andtherulesofthebodychosenbyVentureRV
shall governexcepttotheextentsameareinconflict withtheIndianaUniform
ArbitrationAct,whichshall govern. Thearbitrator isexpresslyempoweredto
enter anaward ofdefault againstanypartyintheeventof:(a) thefailureor
refusal ofsuchpartytocomplywithanydeadlinefixedbythearbitrator;(b)
thefailureor refusal ofsuchpartytomaketimelypaymentofanyfees, expens-
es, or other chargesbilledbythearbitrator;or (c) anyother failureor refusal
bysuchpartytocooperate andparticipate inanyaspect ofthearbitrationpro-
ceedings. Thearbitratorwill admit onlyrelevantandreliable evidence at the
hearing, butnoparticular rulesofevidence arespecifiedfor use. Thehearing
shall beelectronicallyrecordedbyanIndianaNotaryPublic or other officer
authorizedbyIndianalawtoadminister oaths, andall witnesseswhoshall tes-
tifyshall beswornonoathtotell thetruth. Thearbitrator mayaward injunc-
tiverelief, interest, andattorneyfeesinanequitable amountbaseduponthe
degree towhichtheprevailing partyprevailsonthemerits;however, thearbi-
trator isnotempoweredtoaward punitiveor exemplarydamages. All costsof
thearbitration, including therecording thereof, shall besharedequallybythe
