Unpacking Instructions
Carefully unpack the carton, then check the contents to ensure that all parts arepresent
and have been received in good condition. Notify the shipper immediatelyand retain
packing material for inspection if any parts appear damaged from shipping, or the carton
itself shows signs of mishandling. Save the carton and all packing materials. In the event
that a fixture must be returned to the factory, it isimportant that the fixture be returned in
the original factory box and packing.

information about the installation, usage and maintenance of
this product.
FCC Statement
1. This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions:

• Make sure that you are connecting to the proper voltage, and that the line voltage you are connecting to
is not higher than that stated on the decal or rear panel of the fixture.
• This product is intended for indoor use only! To prevent risk of fire or shock, do not expose fixture to rain
or moisture.
• Make sure there are no flammable materials close to the unit while operating.
• The unit must be installed in a location with adequate ventilation, at least 20” (50 cm) from adjacent
surfaces. Be sure that no ventilation slots are blocked.
• Always disconnect from the power source before servicing or replacing the fuse and be sure to replace
with same type fuse.
• Secure fixture to included safety loop using a safety chain.
• Maximum ambient temperature is 104° F (40° C). Do not operate the fixture at temperatures higher
than this.
• In the event of a serious operating problem, stop using the unit immediately. Never try to repair the
unit yourself.
• Never connect the device to a dimmer pack.
• Make sure the power cord is never crimped or damaged.
• Never disconnect the power cord by pulling or tugging on the cord.
• Never carry the fixture directly from the cord. Always use the hanging/mounting bracket.
• Avoid direct eye exposure to the light source while it is on.

1. STROBE SWITCH: Turns the strobe effect on or off
2. AUDIO SENSITIVITY CONTROL: Sets the sound threshold for sound-activated pattern changes when the
MODE switch (#5) is set to the SOUND position. Turn counter-clockwise to decrease sensitivity and clockwise
to increase sensitivity
3. MIC: Internal microphone for the sound-activated pattern changes
4. SPEED CONTROL: Controls the speed of the pattern changes when the MODE switch (#5) is set to the AUTO
position
5. MODE SWITCH: Controls how patterns are changed. In the AUTO position, patterns cycle automatically at a
rate controlled by the SPEED control (#4). In the SOUND position, patterns change based on input from th MIC
(#3) and the threshold set by the AUDIO SENSITIVITY control (#2)
6. POWER IN: Tetra Beam is equipped with a fixed power cable and will power up automatically when
plugged in. Review the safety section (page 5) before connecting the end of this cable to a standard AC power
outlet.
7. FUSE: As a protective measure, Tetra Beam is equipped with a F1AL250V safety fuse. In the case of a mains
power surge, the fuse will blow and protect the internal electronics. To access the fuse, unplug the power
cable from the AC outlet and use a phillips-head screwdriver to open the fuse holder.
8. SAFETY LOOP - When using Tetra Beam in a hanging application a safety chain or cable must be connected
to this loop

IR Remote Controls
OFF: Turns Tetra Beam off
ON: Turns Tetra Beam on
AUTO: Sets patterns to cycle automatically at a rate controlled by the
SPEED+/SPEED- controls
SOUND: Sets pattern changes based on input from the MIC (#3 on the
rear panel)
STROBE: Turns the strobe effect on or off. When STROBE is on, SPEED+
and SPEED- controls control the strobe pulsing speed
SPEED-: Decreases the speed of the strobe pulsing when in STROBE
mode, and decreases the speed of the pattern changes when in AUTO
mode
SPEED+: Increases the speed of the strobe pulsing when in STROBE
mode, and increases the speed of the pattern changes when in AUTO
mode
COLOR: Puts Tetra Beam in manual color mode, where R1-R4, G1-G4 and
B1-B4 buttons can be used to control colors for each individual beam.
When in color mode, pressing the COLOR button will clear all active LEDs
R1-R4: Turns red LEDs on or off for the associated beam
G1-G4: Turns green LEDs on or off for the associated beam
B1-B4: Turns blue LEDs on or off for the associated beam

AC Power
This fixture runs on 100~240 VAC, 50/60 Hz. Before powering on the unit, make sure the line voltage is
within the range of accepted voltages.
To determine the power requirements for a particular fixture, see the label affixed to the bottom of the
fix-ture or refer to the fixture’s specifications chart. A fixture’s listed current rating indicates its average
current draw under normal conditions.
