General warning
Installing the Verano® product yourself is at your own risk. Only use this instruction as a tool and for the installation of
this specic Verano® product. If you cannot install the product yourself, you can always opt for professional installation.
The installation team of your Verano® dealer is pleased to help you.
Be careful for damages
Don’t use a knife or any other sharp object when opening the packing. This may cause damage to the content of the
package. Put the content of the package on a so surface. Be careful when drilling, falling drill cuttings can cause damages.

The aluminum fence contains columns and shelves. If desired, a lling of glass, perforated plate, HPL, lattice work or slats
is carried out.
Dierences in height
The fence is mostly placed against a house. The house lies almost always higher than the garden.
The garden will oen slope
Solution A
The height dierence is solved by using dierent column heights. The shelves are levelled. The top is horizontally lined.

Solution B
The top of the fence runs down in steps. If the slope is not to big, the column height can be equal.
Solution C
In this situation, the height dierence is solved by using terraces in the garden. The top is horizontally lined.
The fence height variates.
Solution D
Similar to solution C, but the top also runs down in steps.

Lay out the fence using a cord.
A Wall installation
It is oen not possible to use a standard end column with an anchor pile because the anchor pile can not be placed deep
enough at this location due to the foundation. In this case, the column is screwed to the wall using very long screws (150
mm). To do this, drill three holes of 6 mm.
Attention! Always drill in the bricks, not in the joints.
B Using an U-prole
Oen, the U-prole is used (screws 80 mm).

The second column can be installed aer placing the column (to the wall) or the U-prole. We advise to use a shelve to
determine the size. It is possible to use a piece of the column as a size tool. Slide the gusset plate in before the anchor pile
is hit further in the ground.
Attention! Remove the size tool.
Voor het inslaan kan het beste (vooral voor de veiligheid) een slagapparaat gebruikt worden. De ankerpaal gaat zo ver in de
grond dat de schetsplaat ca. 10 cm onder het grondniveau zit. Zorg er wel voor dat de ankerpaal in beide richtingen in het
lood blij (waterpas).
All columns and shelves are customized according to the information on the order form.
Terrace
In case of a terrace installation, a 6,3 cm (size of the soil pipe) hole is drilled in the terrace tile.

Slide the column over the anchor pile and xate with at least two screws. The holes are already drilled. Check if the column
is straight using a level before the nal xation. Correction is possible because of the slack between the anchor pile and
the column.
All columns and shelves are customized according to the information on the order form.

The shelves can be slide in from the top. Due to the M/V-construction, the shelves come together. Make sure that the shel-
ves are pushed far enough.
Attention!
The columns are provided with a screw (A) at the bottom to make sure that the fence starts 1 cm above the ground. The sy-
stem of the fence is solid, therefore you only need to screw the three or four lowest shelves. The holes are already drilled in
the columns. The matching screws are self-tapping screws. You don’t need to drill the shelves. Don’t screw the top shelves
yet. The top shelves will be screwed during the nish when the whole fence is installed.
2. Filling
– There are dierent types of lling possible:
– Glass (clear or matte)
– HPL panels
– Perforated metal plate (anthracite or colour) or
– Slats (anthracite, colour).

Glass lling
The glass plates are delivered separately (without frame work).
Sequence of operations glass lling:
• Aer sliding in the shelves (attention: nally the intermediate shelve), xate the rubber prole (A) in the intermediate
shelve.
• Slide the glass plate in from the top and insert in the rubber prole.
• Remove the rubber prole (A) from the bottom shelve and slide over the bottom of the glass plate (optional). Aer that
lower in the intermediate shelve.
• Push the rubber prole (A) to the top of the glass plate and place the top shelve, don’t screw yet. The screwing will be
done during the nish.
We advise to place the side rubbers later when the fence is installed.
• Attention! Finally, level al columns. Aer that, place the covers.

Other llings
In case of HPL panels (6 mm thickness), the installation is equal to glass. Use the side rubber (B). In case of perforated me-
tal plates (2 mm), use side rubber C.
The bars are installed in a complete frame work, slide into the fence from the top.
Attention! Use a intermediate shelve directly beneath the bar frame work.

Installation of the slat element
The slat element is already installed and can be slide in completely. The shelve directly beneath the slats needs to be a top
shelve.
Installation of the tilt mechanism
• Aer sliding in the slat element, install the tilt mechanism by sliding the second hole over the pen of
the springy lock button.
• Move the slats to the top position.
• Aer that, drill the holes of the tilt mechanism in the column, 4 mm. Aer that, tighten.
Using the springy lock button, the slats can be moved into ve positions.
This drawing shows an element in which the slats are placed horizontally. In case of vertical slats,
the tilt mechanism will be screwed into the shelve (bottom or top).

• If the fence is installed, check if the fence is level.
• Aer that, tighten the top shelves.
• Place the side rubbers for the lling (glass plates).
• Place the plastic covers on top of the columns.
