• This appliance is intended
for making coffee for non-
commercial use at home or in
similar indoor environments
such as:

offices and other working en-

and other residential type
environments
-Bed and breakfast type envi-
ronments.
• WARNING: Using your appli-
ance for purposes other than
its intended purpose may

Safety Information to
be Considered when
Using the Appliance
• Connect and operate the
appliance only in accordance
with the information on type
label. Make sure that the
mains supply in your home
is compatible with the power
and voltage ratings indicated
on the rating plate of your
appliance.
• Connect the appliance only to
an AC current and a grounded
outlet.
• Use the appliance in dry en-
vironments at an altitude of
less than 2000 meters above
sea level.

• The electrical safety of your
appliance can only be ensured
if the appliance is connected
to a fully grounded, protected
wall outlet. The manufacturer
is not liable for any personal
injury or property damage
resulting from the use of an
ungrounded outlet.
• Danger to life due to the
electric current! Contact with
live wires or components
can cause serious injury and
death!
• Unplug the appliance from
the mains before cleaning the
coffee bean container.
• This appliance can be used
by children younger than 8
years of age and physically,
sensory or mentally disabled
people as well as those who
lack knowledge only under the
supervision of a responsible
person or if they are well in-
formed about safe use of the
appliance and understand the
dangers that may occur due
to the use of the appliance.
• Children must not tamper
with the appliance.
• Keep the appliance and the
power cord out of the reach
of children under 8years
old, and do not allow your
appliance's power cord to
hang down from the counter.
Cleaning and user mainte-
nance should not be per-
formed by children unless they
are older than 8years of age
and under supervision.
• Always use water at room
temperature to fill the water
tank. Warm water and other
liquids can damage your cof-
fee machine.
• WARNING: Keep the pack-
aging materials away from
the infants and children to
prevent any risk of suffoca-
tion. Do not permit this pack-
aging material to be used as
a toy.
• Unplug the plug after each
use or in case of malfunction
or before cleaning.
• Unplug the appliance from
the wall outlet in following
conditions:
o Before filling the water tank
with water
o Before disassembling and

installing parts of the ap-
pliance
o Before cleaning or mainte-
nance procedures
o If the appliance is not work-
ing properly
o After using the appliance
• Do not immerse the appliance
in water.
• Empty the water tank if the
appliance is not used for a
long period of time.
• You can use your product only
with its own base unit.
• Some parts of the coffee ma-
chine may become very hot
during operation!
• The drinks and steam from
the machine are very hot!
Observe the following safety
precautions to avoid burning/
scalding yourself and others:
• Do not touch the metal steam
nozzle on the coffee spout.
• Avoid direct skin contact with
steam from the machine or
hot rinsing, cleaning or des-
caling water.
• During operation, hot steam
may be released from your
appliance and parts of your
appliance may become very
hot.
• Do not operate the hot wa-
ter function continuously for
more than one tank of water.
• WARNING: To prevent the
danger of burning:
-Keep all parts of your body
away from the steam outlet.
-Do not open the filter com-
partment during operation.
-Before cleaning your appli-
ance, make sure that it has
cooled down completely.
-Be careful when opening the
cover of your appliance.
-The water level should be
between Max and Min signs.
If you overfill your coffee
machine, boiling water may
outburst.
-Allow to cool before disas-
sembling and assembling
parts and before cleaning the
appliance.
-Do not touch hot surface. Use
only the handles or buttons.
• Only use the appliance with
the waste coffee container,
drip tray and cup grid at-

tached. Empty the water tank
if the appliance is not used for
a long period of time.
• This product should be kept
under constant supervision
and control during operation.
• Place the appliance on a sta-
ble surface so that it does not
wobble.
• Do not operate the appliance
on inclined surfaces.
• Place your appliance on a
dry, level and stable surface,
free of water and away from
exposure to heat.
• The top surface of a furniture
worktop may contain materi-
als that can damage the rub-
ber foot of your appliance.
• If necessary, place a protec-
tive mat under the foot of
your appliance.
• Choose a location where small
children cannot access the hot
surfaces of the appliance.
• Your appliance is not de-
signed for placement inside
a wall or cabinet.
• The mains plug for your ap-
pliance must be in an easily
accessible place so that the
appliance's electrical circuit
can be quickly disconnected
in case of emergency.
• Before using, check whether
all functions are operating
correctly.
• If the power cord is damaged,
it should be replaced only by
an authorised service recom-
mended by the manufacturer
to prevent any danger. Please
contact with the authorised
service or customer commu-
nication center.
• The appliance should only be
used if there are no visible
damages in its power cord
and on its body.
• Never use your appliance un-
der following circumstances:
o If the appliance, its power
cord or its plug is dam-
aged,
o If the appliance is dropped,
there are visible signs of
damage or the appliance
does not function correctly,
o If the appliance is damaged
to the extent that its elec-
trical parts are seen,

o If he appliance, power cord
or power plug has fallen
into water or other liquids.
• If any of the conditions de-
scribed above are observed,
disconnect the power cord
immediately and contact with
an authorised service.
• A damaged appliance or
damaged parts can cause
serious injuries and fire.
• In case of any failure with your
appliance, do not attempt to
repair it. The appliance does
not contain any components
which might be repaired by
the user.
• Do not open the housing of
the coffee machine. There is
a risk of electric shock if live
connections are touched and/
or the electrical and mechani-
cal configuration is changed.
• Care should be taken not to
open the inside of your appli-
ance. There is risk of electric
shock in case of touching
the electrical connections
within the appliance and/or
modifying the electrical and
mechanical structure of the
appliance.
• Extend the power cord so that
it does not cause any danger.
Do not pull the power cord
over sharp edges and do not
pinch it.
• Keep away from hot and wet
areas. Power cord should not
touch the hot parts of the
appliance.
• Protect the appliance from
weather factors such as rain,
frost and direct sunlight. Do
not use the coffee machine
outdoors.
• Do not place the appliance
near a hot gas or electric hob
or a heated oven.
• Do not operate the hot wa-
ter function continuously for
more than one tank of water.
• While disconnecting from the
outlet, grasp the plug and do
not pull it out by the cord.
• Do not hold the appliance by
the power cord.
• Dry the appliance and all
parts before connecting it to
the mains and before install-
ing parts.
• Position the appliance so
that the power plug is always

within reach.
• This appliance must not be
operated with an external
clock timer or separate re-
mote control system.
• Do not use an extension cord
for this appliance.
• Avoid contact with hot parts
of the product.
• Allow the appliance to cool
down before storing.
• Use the grinder only for grind-
ing coffee beans.
• Do not use the appliance if
the drip tray is not properly
positioned.
• It is not recommended to use
accessories that are not sup-
plied with the product. Doing
so should be avoided as it can
be dangerous.
Safety Information to
be Considered when
Performing Cleaning and
Maintenance Procedures
• Clean the appliance regularly
as stated in the "Cleaning
and Maintenance" section.
Before starting the cleaning
and maintenance procedure,
always unplug the appliance
from the outlet.
• Do not immerse the appliance
in water. To avoid electric
shock, do not clean your ap-
pliance with water, use a soft
cloth to clean your appliance.
• Do not wash the coffee ma-
chine or its accessories in the
dishwasher.
• You can wipe the body of the
appliance with a damp cloth,
and then you can polish it with
a dry cloth.
• WARNING: Make sure that
you completely dry the cloth
by which you wipe the surface
of the appliance. Permeation
of water inside the electrical
components of your appliance
will cause serious damage to
your appliance.
• Do not use any sharp, point-
ed, or similar tools during
cleaning.

during Carrying and
Transportation
• During carrying and transpor-
tation, your appliance must
be kept in original box in or-

der to protect its components
from damage.
• Keep the appliance in normal
position during carrying.
• Do not drop the appliance
during transportation and
protect it from impacts.

curred during transportation
after delivery of product to
customer are not covered by
warranty.

Three cleaning materials are included in
the product's box for automatic cleaning.
JMachine Setup
1. Remove protective
films, labels and other
packaging materials
from the appliance.
2. Find a safe and sta-
ble surface within easy
reach of the power
supply and make sure
to keep a minimum
distance from the
sides of the machine.
3. Install the external
drip tray. Make sure
you install it correctly.
4. Fill the water tank
(see "FILLING THE
WATER TANK").
5. Put coffee beans in the bean con-
tainer (see "FILLING THE COFFEE
BEAN CONTAİNER").
6. Unroll and straight-
en the cord, insert the
end into the socket on
the back of the ma-
chine. Plug the other
end of the cord into an
outlet with the appro-
priate voltage rating.
JDaily Use
I. Brewing Coffee
1. Turn the appliance on by pressing the
on/off button and make sure that the
drip tray is under the coffee spout
and the water tank is full of water
and inside the machine. The device
automatically rinses off. You can stop
this process by pressing the Hot Water
Button.
2. The appliance then goes into standby
status.
3. Place a cup under the coffee spout
and adjust the height of the spout to
the cup. Depending on the size (length
or width) of your cup, you can remove
the drip tray or adjust its position as
follows:
4. Press the strong coffee button or

the soft coffee button , depending
on the coffee you prefer to drink.
5. The light of the pressed coffee button
and the illumination light up to indi-
cate that the appliance is preparing
the coffee.
6. When the appliance returns to stand-
by status, your coffee is ready to be
served.
Tip 1: The strong coffee button is recom-
mended for espresso, offering a more
intense coffee, and the quantity of both
coffee buttons can be adjusted.
Tip 2: If the appliance is turned off only
for a while, automatic rinsing will not
appear. You can enable or disable this
function by following the steps below.
Step 1) Remove the service cover.
Step 2) Press the On/Off button until
you hear beep.
Note: Before using the machine for the
first time, press the hot water button to
clean the inside and let it clean for about
30 seconds.
II. Filling the Water Tank
If is flashing, there is not
enough water in the water
tank. In this case, the tank
must be filled with water.
1. Lift the water tank using
the cover.
2. Rinse the water tank
with clean water, fill it
with water up to the
"Max" level and put it
back in the machine.
Make sure that it is well
placed.
Note: To avoid overflowing
the water in the water tank,
do not pour water directly
into the appliance from
another container.
IMPORTANT: Never put warm/hot
water, mineral water or any other liquid
in the water tank. These will damage
the water tank and the machine.
III. Filling the Coffee
Bean Container
If is flashing, you need to put coffee
beans in the appliance.
1. Remove the cover of the bean con-
tainer.
2. Slowly add the coffee beans.
3. Put the container cover back on.
IMPORTANT: Only put coffee beans in
the coffee bean container. Ground cof-
fee, instant coffee, caramelized coffee
and other products can damage your
machine.

IV. Preparing Frothed
Milk for Coffee
Since the temperature of the steam
is higher than the temperature of the
espresso, the coffee must be prepared
before the frothing process is started.
Otherwise, the espresso may burn and
its taste may deteriorate.
1. Prepare the coffee with a large cup.
2. Turn the steam nozzle into a drip tray.
3. Press steam button. The steam indica-
tor light comes on. Then the appliance
heats up and drains the water remain-
ing in the wand into the drip tray.
4. After the steam indicator light stops
flashing and remains on, place the
container with milk in it under the
steam nozzle and immerse the steam
nozzle in the container by 5 cm.
5. Press the steam button again.
6. Swirl the container as the hot steam
goes out.
7. When the milk warms up enough,
froth begins to form. After the froth-
ing reaches the desired level, stop the
steam by pressing the steam button
again.
8. Using a wet towel, clean the nozzle
cover and the metal wand.
9. Pour the frothed hot milk into the cof-
fee.
10. Now you can enjoy your coffee.
V. Hot Water
By pressing the hot water button you can
get hot water from the appliance. The hot
water button and the illumination light up
to signal that the appliance is heating the
water. Your water is ready when the hot
water button and light go out.
VI. Favorite Button
Using the favorite coffee function, you
can save your favorite soft coffee and
strong coffee preferences.
1. Favorite coffee setting:
a) Press and hold the Favorite button
for 2 seconds. Soft coffee and strong
coffee buttons flash. You can choose
any of them to make the machine
memorize the quantity.
b) Choose between strong espresso and
soft espresso coffee. You will see the
drink coming out of the machine. In
this case, you can continue to take the
drink by pressing and holding the but-
ton, or stop the process by releasing
the button (the duration of pressing
the mode buttons may vary depend-
ing on the amount of drink).
After this operation, the machine will save
the quantity.
2. Use of the favorite function
a) Pressing the favorite coffee button
prepares your memorized favorite
drink.

VII. Daily Cleaning
of the Appliance
Daily cleaning and maintenance is essen-
tial to prolong the life of the appliance.
1. Remove the external drip
tray.
2. Pour the water in the drip
tray into the sink and rinse
the tray with clean water.
Then wipe dry.
3. Slide out the internal drip
tray and the coffee grounds
container.
4. Empty the coffee grounds
container and rinse with
clean water. Then wipe dry.
Note: If lights up, the cof-
fee grounds container must
be emptied.
5. Pull down the service
cover.
6. Remove the service cov-
er.
7. Press the removal button.
8. Remove the brewing
container.
9. Wash the brewing con-
tainer with clean water.
Then dry the brewing con-
tainer.
10. Put the brewing con-
tainer and service cover
back in place.
Note: If is constantly on,
the brewing container is not
in place/wrongly installed.
If is flashing, the service
door is not in place/wrongly
installed.
11. Insert the coffee grounds
container into the internal
drip tray and replace it.
Note: If is flashing, the cof-
fee grounds container is not
in place.
12. Replace the external
drip tray.
13. Open the nozzle cover
by turning it to the left.
Then pull it down to remove
it.

14. Remove the nozzle cover
and metal wand by pulling
the metal wand down.
15. Wash the nozzle cover by
holding it under warm tap
water and clean the hole
using a needle or brush.
16. Wash the metal wand by
holding it under warm tap
water and clean the hole
using a needle or brush.
17. Install the metal wand
back into the nozzle cover.
Then install the nozzle cover
back on by pushing it up-
wards. Lock it by turning it
to the right.
VIII. Turning Off
the Machine
Turn the machine off by pressing the On/
Off button.
IX. Automatic Turn Off
The appliance has an automatic turn-off
function. Depending on the mode you
have selected, the automatic turn-off
time of the appliance varies.
JOther Settings
I. Adjusting the Amount
of Coffee/Hot Water
For both strong and soft coffee, you can
set the amount of coffee and the amount
of hot water you want between 25 ml
and 250 ml.
1. Press and hold the button of your
choice while making your coffee
(strong espresso, soft espresso) or
getting hot water. The appliance
continues to prepare your coffee.
2. Release the button when you reach
the desired amount. When you hear
two beeps, the amount of coffee is
memorized.
II. Grinding Setting
You can adjust the grinder as desired by
turning the adjustment knob on the bean
container.
During the coffee making phase, you can
adjust the setting by turning the adjust-
ment knob while the grinder is grinding
your coffee (CAUTION: Do not adjust
the grind setting when the grinder is not
running. Otherwise the grinder may be
damaged).
2. The dots on the adjustment knob indi-
cate the grinding fineness.
III. Mode Selection
The machine has three settings: ECO
(Economy) mode, speed mode and de-

fault. In ECO mode, the appliance saves
energy. In speed mode, you can prepare
your coffee faster than with the default
setting.

*Note: The pre-brewing function mois-
tens the ground beans in the brewing
container with a small amount of water
before dispensing the coffee. This ex-
pands the coffee beans and creates more
pressure in the brewing container. This
ensures that all the oil and flavor of the
ground beans is extracted.

while the machine is in standby.

3. Press the hot water button for ECO
mode, the strong espresso button for
speed mode and the soft espresso
button for the default setting. Two
beeps indicate that the mode is
selected. (Note: If you press the cor-
responding button for each mode, the
machine will not respond.)
4. If you do not want the setting to
change, press the button again or
wait 5 seconds for the machine to go
into standby.
JCleaning And
Maintenance
1. If icon is constantly on, the ap-
pliance should perform an automatic
cleaning. If you use this function at
least once a month, or more often
on a regular basis depending on the
hardness of the water used, your ap-
pliance will continue to work optimally.
It is also recommended to fill the water
tank completely.
2. Add one of the supplied cleaning
substance packets to the water tank.
IMPORTANT: Do not use vinegar or
other cleaning substances to perform
automatic cleaning on the appliance.
Cleaning substances may damage the
appliance.
3. Plug in the appliance.
4. Place a container of sufficient size
under the coffee spout.
5. When the appliance is in standby
mode, press and hold the button
and the strong coffee button for 5
seconds. You will hear a beep and
the light of the strong coffee button
and descaling icon will flash.
6. Confirm automatic cleaning by press-
ing the strong coffee button . Press
button to return to standby status.
7. flashes to indicate that the auto-

matic cleaning is being performed by
the appliance.
(Caution: Keep hot water away from your
skin/body.)
8. When all the water in the water tank
has been dispensed, the icon and
the light of strong coffee button
flashes. Remove all remaining solu-
tion from the water tank and fill the
water tank with tap water to the "max"
level. icon turns off when you fill the
water tank with water. The appliance
then continues the descaling process.
First boil half of the water in the water
tank, then wait 1minute and boil the
remaining water.
9. The appliance turns off automatically
when automatic cleaning is complete.
Note: Please be patient during the des-
caling process and make sure that the
appliance automatically turns off.
II. System Drain Function
If you will not use the product for a long
time, it is recommended to use the system
drain function before frost protection and
before taking it for repair.
1. When the appliance is in standby
mode, press and hold the button
and the soft coffee button simultane-
ously for 5 seconds.
2. icon flashes.
3. Remove the water tank from the appli-
ance. icon lights steadily, indicating
that the system drain process is in
progress. To return to standby status,
you can press the button before
removing the water tank.
4. The appliance turns off automatically
when system draining is complete.
Important: After using the SYSTEM
DRAIN FUNCTION, the next time you use
the machine, press the hot water button
until water comes out of the coffee spout.
III. Manual Washing
After using the machine, you can wash
the coffee spout manually to clean it.
It is also recommended to do this if you
have not used the appliance for a long
period of time.
1. In standby, press the button and
the hot water button at the same
time.
2. Icon of hot water button turns off.
Then a small amount of water for
washing comes out of the coffee noz-
zle.
Warning: The water coming out of the
coffee nozzle is hot and collects in the drip
tray at the bottom. Avoid contact with
splashing water.
3. After washing, the appliance returns
to the standby status.
IV. Cleaning the Appliance
1. Unplug the appliance.
2. Empty the water in the internal and
external drip trays.
3. Remove water stains on the appliance

cleaning agents not supplied with the
product to clean the appliance.
V. Cleaning the Coffee
Powder Outlet
After prolonged use, coffee may have
adhered to the coffee powder outlet of
the appliance. In order for the coffee
powder to reach the brewing container,

it is recommended to clean the outlet by
following the steps below.
1. Push the recessed part
of the service cover.
2. Remove the service
cover.
3. Press the removal
button of the brewing
container.
4. Remove the brewing
container.
5. Clean the powder
outlet using the Cleaning
Brush.
JTroubleshooting
When you notice an abnormal situation
in your appliance, you may attempt to
troubleshoot according to the following
descriptions.
If your appliance does not still operate
properly, contact Vestel Call Center or
your local Vestel Authorised Service. You
may access the authorized service provid-
ers list and contact information from the
web site. All authorized service informa-
tion is available in the Service Information
System created by the Ministry.
PROBLEM CAUSE SOLUTION
The appliance is not op-
erating.
The appliance is not con-
nected to the mains.
- Plug in the appliance and
press the button.
-Check the cord and plug.
The machine does not
respond at all or responds
late even after pressing
the function button on the
panel several times.

the appliance after a few
minutes.

cloth supplied.
The coffee is not hot
enough.
-The cups may not have

-The brewing container
may be too cold.
-Rinse the appliance at
least 3 times before mak-
ing coffee.
The coffee can't come out. The system drain function
may have been used pre-
viously.
Press the hot water button
until water comes out by
the spout.

The quality of the first cup
of coffee is not good.

starts up, the brewing

internal drip tray.

finely, which prevents the
water from escaping.

of the coffee grind to a
