Thanks for choosing Vibesware ! Enjoy gorgeous sustaining feedback with
the GR-1. The Basic Foot Controller gives you an extensive control of
feedback harmonics with a control feeling like a WahWah pedal.
The feedback pitch range that can be obtained with a single string is really
impressive and will expand the way of playing with your Guitar Resonator
significantely. The feedback turns to different harmonics without the need of
changing the postition of the Resonator Head to the guitar neck.
Simply connect the pedal between Resonator Box and Resonator Head. No
extra power supply is needed. Please use two stereo plugs/cables (included).
The Basic Foot Controller has three main switching positions: Basic note
feedback and two different harmonics. The phase switch at the Resonator
Box should be set so that the basic note feedback occurs at the basic position
of the controller (pedal in upper position). Depending on pickup and resonator
position you can easily switch then to middle and down position.
Alternatively, you might prefer to pre-select the phase at the Resonator Box
differently. Then, the basic note feedback occurs in the middle position of the
foot controller. Note that the phase also depends on the pick-up „polarity“ (coil
turning direction), which means that the pre-selected position can vary
depending on your selected pickup. In that case you have another interesting
option to change harmonics by pickup selection !
