II Operation Guide

1.Charge
Thebatteryisbuilt-inlithiumrechargeablebattery,sowhenyou useitthefirsttime,please
chargefirstly.Themethodforchargingasfollowing:
1.)Connectcomputer: useUSB cabletoconnectthecomputer,thenitcanbecharged.
2.)Useadaptor:connectchargerplugwithUSB cable,thenplugintoelectricalconnector
receptacle,itcanbecharged.
Whenyouchargeit,greenlightwill brightsimultaneously. When the greenlightisnot
flashing,thechargeiscompleted.
Notice: whenbatterypowerisnotenough,VSDC-01SS will enterintoprotectionmode,so
itcannotbe turnon. Now,pleasechargeforit.
2.Power/ take photos
PleaseconfirmalreadyinserttheTFcard intheslot.
Push ON/OFF”button to ON”,longpressbutton, afterfourlonggreen lightflashes, enter
thestandbymode.Shortpress button,the greenlightflashesoncethenturnsoff,start
takingpicturesmanually,andthenshort pressbutton, the greenlightlit, enterthestandby
mode,andsavethe file,savedavideodocumentautomaticallyevery5minutes.For
continuousrecording,you can shortpressbuttonagain.
3. Motiondetectionrecording
Please verifythattheT-Fcard isinsertedintotheproduct!
Push ON/OFF”button to ON”,longpressbutton,afterfourlonggreenlightflashes,
enterthestandbymode. Continuousshortpressbutton twice,thegreenlightflashes
three timesthenturnsoffintothecameramotion detection mode,saveavideo
documentautomaticallyevery5minutes.Thenshortpressbutton,the green lightlit,
enterthestandbymode, andsavethefile.
Notice:
a. PleasemakesureT-flash(MicroSD) cardhasbeeninserted,ifnot,itwillbepower
offautomaticallyafter4seconds,Andeasytocausesystemhalted
b. ThemaximumcapacityofT-flashcardis16GB.
c. Saving fileneedscertaintime, sopleasedon’tpressOperationbuttoncontinuouslyin
ordertoavoidsavingunsmoothlyandgeneratingincompletefile.
d. Whenyoumakeavideo,pleasefocusontheobjectandkeep50cmundersufficient
illumination. Then thevideowillberight,naturalcolor,clearandstable.
4. Shutdown
Inthe pause, ON/ OFFbutton intheONposition,longpressbutton thenturnsoff.
5Timeset
1.Inthe off state, connected tothecomputer.
2.Inthe memorycard tocreateanewdocumentcalledtime.TXT
3.Open time.TXTdocument, enterthetimeformatisasfollows:2010-01-01
16:12:10,Savethedocument.
4.Exitthecomputerconnected,unplugtheUSBdatacable.At thispoint,themachine

shouldbeturned off;
5. Afterbooting,themachine issetthesystemtimethesameasthedocumenttime
automatically.
6.Auto-powerofffunction
VSDC-01SS will savefileandturnoff automaticallyasfollowing:
a. Whenyou shootvideo withoutenoughpower,filewillbesavedautomatically,then
auto-poweroff.
b.When disk spaceofVSDC-01SS isnotenoughn,afterindicatorgoesout immediately,
filewill besaved automaticallythenauto-poweroff.
7Connecting computer
Itcan connectscomputerunderpoweroff mode,afterthatwhichcanbeusedasUdisk,
whocancopy, cutandpaste,deletefile.
Whenyou connectitwithUSBport, aportablediskmarkwillbeseen afterseveral
seconds.Greenlightisflashing constantly.
Notice:
a. Whenyou connectcomputer,ifthemachinecannotbeidentified,ornotsee the
portableUdiskmarkin30 seconds,pleaseinsertit again.
b. Itisbettercopyorcutvideofileintocomputerhardwarethenplay.Video filewhichis
savedinthemachineisplayed directlywillcauseunsmoothplay,thereason isthat
giganticdatacannotbe transmittedsynchronously.
8Reset
Whenmachineworks abnormalforillegaloperation orotherunknownreasons,itneedsto
bereset.
Push ON/OFF”to OFF”, that’sOK.
9.Charge
Threetimesbeforecharging tochargemorethan12 hours,makethebatterytoachieve
maximumefficiency.
Startcharging,Greenindicatorlightisflashingslowly.Whencharging 1~2hours
continuouslyfullycharged Green indicatorlight areoftenbright。
10. Notice
Suitableusingsituation: PleasefollowState'slaw.Donotuseitillegally.
Softwareupgrade: Inordertomakeproductshavemorefunction,manufacturerwill
perfect product softwarecontinuously. Thisproductisconvenient forcustomertoupgrade
bythemselves,sopleasecontactwithlocalretailerforthelatest softwareinformationand
upgrademethod
Worktemperature: Pleaseuseitundernormaltemperatureandavoidusingunder
unsuitablebodytemperature.
Workhumidity: Pleaseuseit underagreeablehuman atmospherehumidity, Pleasenot
tomakeproductwetorexposeinrainforwhichwithoutwaterproopfunction.
Shootingillumination: Pleaseuseit underenough lightsources; donotaimthecamera
atthesunand otherstronglightsourcesinordernottodamageopticalpartsofan

apparatus.
Cleaningrequirements: Pleasenotusetheproductundertoolargedustdensity
atmospheresoasnot toaffect videoeffectsfortaintedlensandotherparts.
Wastetreatment: Pleasepayattention toprotectenvironment, nottothrowthe product
optionally.Inordertoavoidexplosion,pleasenotthrowproduct intofire.
