1. Wichtige Hinweise
Bitte lesen Sie vor der ersten Anwendung des Produktes bzw. dessen Einbau diese Bedienungsanleitung aufmerksam
durch. Bewahren Sie diese auf, sie ist Teil des Produktes.
Alle Abbildungen und Tabellen finden Sie am Ende der Anleitung.
1.1 Sicherheitshinweise

Aufgrund der vorgesehenen Verwendung kann das Produkt Spitzen, Kanten und abbruchgefährdete Teile aufweisen.
Betreiben und programmieren Sie die CarMotion Fahrzeuge niemals unbeaufsichtigt!
1.2 Das Produkt richtig verwenden
Dieses Produkt ist bestimmt:
- Für die Einstellung von speziellen Funktionen von CarMotion Fahrzeugen in Verbindung mit der Software CarManager.
- Zum Betrieb in trockenen Räumen.
Jeder darüber hinausgehende Gebrauch gilt als nicht bestimmungsgemäß. Für daraus resultierende Schäden haftet
der Hersteller nicht.
1.3 Packungsinhalt überprüfen
Kontrollieren Sie den Lieferumfang auf Vollständigkeit:
- Programmiergerät mit Anschlusskabel an die CarMotion Fahrzeuge
- USB-Verbindungkabel
- Anleitung
2. Anschluss
Schließen Sie das Programmiergerät, Art. 8401 an einen PC (Windows/Mac) an. Das Programmiergerät hat einen
2x3-poligen Stecker, der an die unter dem Kraftstofftank des CarMotion Fahrzeugs verborgene Buchse angeschlossen
werden muss (Abb. 1). Anders als das Ladegerät, funktioniert das Programmiergerät nicht in beiden Steckausrichtungen.
Stecken Sie den Stecker daher vom Fahrzeug weg zeigend ein (Abb. 1). Wenn sich das Fahrzeug beim Einstecken des
Steckers nicht einschaltet, dann schalten Sie es ein.
Tipp: Sollte z. B. bei Notebooks, die Stromversorgung des Programmiergeräts unterbrochen werden oder die Verbindung
zum CarManager wird getrennt (z. B. durch ziehen des Kabels oder Schließen des Programms), würde das Fahrzeug
den Motor starten und losfahren.
Achtung: Die CarManager Software muss von der Website www.viessmann-modell.de heruntergeladen werden. Sie
wird nicht mit dem Programmiergerät ausgeliefert!
Hinweis: Die neueste Version der CarManager Software kann immer von der Website www.viessmann-modell.de her-
untergeladen werden. Beachten Sie immer das Benutzerhandbuch, das mit der neuesten Softwareversion geliefert wird.

1.1 Safety instructions
Caution:
Risk of injury!
Due to the intended use, this product can have peaks, edges and breakable parts. Tools are required for installation.
Never leave the CarMotion vehicles unattended during operation or programming.
1.2 Using the product for its correct purpose
This product is intended:
- For the setting of special functions of CarMotion vehicles in connection with the CarManager software.
- For operation in dry rooms only.
Using the product for any other purpose is not approved and is considered inappropriate. The manufacturer is not
responsible for any damage resulting from the improper use of this product.
1.3 Checking the package contents
Check the contents of the package for completeness:
- Programming device
- USB cable
- Manual
2. Connection
Connect the vehicle to a PC (Windows/Mac). The programming device (item 8401) has a 2x3 pin plug that has to be
connected to the socket hidden under the fuel tank, just as the charger (fig. 5). However, the programming device does
not work in both plugging directions. Therefore, plug it in direction away from the vehicle (fig. 5). If the vehicle does not
switch on when the plug is plugged, you need to switch it on yourself.
Hint: Should, e. g. in case of a notebook, the power supply of the programming device be interrupted or the connection
to the CarManager be disconnected (e. g. by plugging the cable or closing the programme), the vehicle would start the
motor and move off.
Attention: The CarManager software must be downloaded from the website www.viessmann-modell.de. It is not deliv-
ered with the programmer!
Note: The latest version of the CarManager software can always be downloaded from the website www.viessmann-
modell.de. Always refer to the user manual provided with the latest software version.
