This symbol warns the user of dangerous voltage levels localized within the enclosure.
This symbol advises the user to read all accompanying literature for safely operating
the unit
Before Operating Read These Important Safety Instructions
1) Read these instructions.
2) Keep these instructions.
3) Heed all warnings.
4) Follow all instructions.
5) Do not use this apparatus near water.
6) Clean only with dry cloth.
7) Do not block any ventilation openings. Maintain at least one (1) foot of distance around all sides of
amplifier. Do not block any ventilation openings with items such as newspapers, tablecloths,
curtains, etc.
8) Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus
(including amplifiers) that produce heat.
9) Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has
two blades with one wider than the other. A grounding type plug has two blades and a third
grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong is provided for your safety. If the provided
plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet.
10) Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience
receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus.
11) Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
12) Use only with the cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table specified by the manufacturer, or sold with
the apparatus. When a cart is used, use caution when moving the cart/apparatus combination to
avoid injury from tip-over.
13) Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
14) CAUTION: Damage Requiring Service: Unplug this product from the wall outlet and refer servicing
to qualified service personnel under the following conditions: (a) When the power-supply cord or
plug is damaged; (b) If liquid has been spilled, or objects have fallen into the product; (c) If the
product has been exposed to rain or water; (d) If the product does not operate normally by
following the operating instructions. Adjust only those controls that are covered by the operating
instructions. Improper adjustment of other controls may result in damage and will often require
extensive work by a qualified technician to restore the product to its normal operation; (e) If the
product has been dropped or damaged in any way; (f ) When the product exhibits a change in
performance - this indicates a need for service. • Replacement Parts: When replacement parts are
required, be sure the service technician has used replacement parts specified by the manufacturer
or have the same characteristics as the original part. Unauthorized substitutions may result in fire,
electric shock, or other hazards.
15) Avoid placing any liquids on or near the amplifier that may splash or drip such as those contained
in bottles, cans, glasses, etc.
16) Vintage Sound amplifiers are capable of producing very high sound pressure levels which can
cause temporary or permanent hearing damage dropped.

1. CHANNEL 1: 1 - First input jack for guitar
2. CHANNEL 1: 2 -Second input jack for guitar with a lower impedance
3. VOLUME/BRIGHT CONTROL - Controls loudness of amp. When pulled, control adds brilliance to all
notes, especially higher frequency notes
4. TREBLE - Controls high frequency response, complemented by bright switch
5. BASS - Controls low frequency response.
6. CHANNEL 2: 1 - First input jack for guitar
7. CHANNEL 2: 2 -Second input jack for guitar with a lower impedance
8. VOLUME/BRIGHT CONTROL - Controls loudness of amp. When pulled, control adds brilliance to all
notes, especially higher frequency notes
9. TREBLE - Controls high frequency response, complemented by bright switch
10. MIDDLE - Controls (narrows) high and low frequency responses. Adds a rich tone and accents middle
register.
11. BASS - Controls low frequency response.
12. REVERB - Adjusts the level of the Reverb effect. Reverb can be switched ON-OFF from the
Footswitch. Used in conjunction with DWELL {26} on rear of chassis.
13. SPEED - Adjusts the rate of the Vibrato effect. Vibrato can be switched ON-OFF from the Footswitch
14. INTENSITY – Increases or decreases the Vibrato effect.
15. Power Indicator: Lights up when power is switched on. If bulb fails replace with type T47.

Video Tips: How to Bias your Vintage Sound Amp
14. MASTER VOLUME - turns the volume control up to overdrive the preamps
15. FUSE SLO-BLOW - The fuse protects the amp from electrical faults. Replace only with a 1 amp slo
blow fuse. If the amp repeatedly blows the fuse, contact your dealer or Vintage Sound Amps.

16. ON - This switch turns the AC power ON and OFF. When the switch is OFF, the amplifier is
completely shut down
17. STANDBY - When the switch is in the STANDBY position, the amplifier is off; however, the tube
filaments are left on as to eliminate warm-up time, provided that the POWER SWITCH (item B) is ON.
Use of this feature during short breaks versus using the POWER SWITCH will increase tube life.
18. SPKR - Plug-in connection for the 8Ω internal speaker. A speaker must always be connected at this
jack when the amplifier is ON. A speaker impedance load of 8Ω should be used to avoid distortion or
damage to the amplifier. When using only the internal speaker jack, a speaker impedance load of 8ohms
(minimum) should be used to avoid distortion or damage to the amplifier.
19. EXT SPKR – This is an auxillary speaker jack used to add an additional speaker cabinet to your
amplifier. The EXT SPKR Cabinet can be a 4Ω or 8Ω cabinet only.
20. DWELL - The Dwell control is a second EQ to be used in conjunction with the REVERB {7} control on
the front panel of the amplifier. With the Dwell control turned all the way down, there will be no reverb
effect. With the Dwell control turned all the way up, there is full reverb effect. This control allows you
to attenuate the reverb signal.
21. FOOTSWITCH - The 2-button footswitch enables remote switching of the Reverb and Vibrato effects.
22. REVERB OUTPUT - Plug the red reverb cable of the reverb tank in here.
23. REVERB INPUT - Plug the white reverb cable of the reverb tank in here.
Line Cord: This amplifier is equipped with a grounding type supply cord to reduce the possibility of shock
hazard. Be sure to connect it to a grounded receptacle. DO NOT ALTER THE AC PLUG.
