Getting Started
Before Cutting Hair
Remove any packaging material and labels before using your Rapid Hair Clippers for the rst
time. Fully unwind the USB cord and inspect it for damage. Do not use the appliance if any part
has been damaged. In case of damage, contact our after-sales support line for advice on a
replacement or return.
Charging the Battery
• Before using your Rapid Hair Clippers for the rst time, charge it fully for 4 hours
• Plug the USB charging cord into your Rapid Hair Clippers and then plug the USB end into a
USB power source. Please ensure that the Rapid Hair Clippers ON/OFF switch is OFF. The
charging indicator light will glow red to indicate that it is charging and turns to green once
fully charged
Optimising the Lifetime of the Rechargeable Batteries
Discharge the rechargeable batteries completely twice a year by
letting the motor run until it stops. Then fully recharge the batteries.
Changing the Combs
• Switch the clipper off before changing the combs
• To attach the guide comb, hook the front edge of the guide comb
to the front teeth of the blade. Push the back of the guide comb
down until you hear a “click”. The guide comb is now in place. (See g 1. for reference)
• To remove the guide comb, pull the release tab on the back of the guide comb until it clicks
off the blade.
• Use the Rapid Hair Clippers without any combs for the closest possible cut.
WARNING! INJURIES & MATERIAL DAMAGE DUE TO INCORRECT HANDLING. DO
NOT USE THE APPLIANCE IF THE TEETH ARE DAMAGED OR MISSING FROM
THE BLADE OR IF THE BLADES ARE MISALIGNED AS INJURY MAY OCCUR
Lubricating the Blades
It is highly recommended before each use to lubricate the blades with
the oil provided. This ensures optimum cutting performance.
1. Plug the USB cord into a USB power adaptor and ensure it is
switched ON
2. Use the oil supplied to lubricate the Rapid Hair Clippers.
Unscrew the cap and cut off the tip of the oil tube with a pair of
scissors
3. Switch on the Rapid Hair Clippers, then gently squeeze the oil
tube, applying 2 drops onto the blades (Fig 2). Leave the Rapid Hair Clippers switched ON
for a further few seconds to allow the oil spread thoroughly along the length of the blades.
Then, switch OFF the unit and remove any excess oil using a cloth
NOTE: To lubricate the blades, ensure the unit is switched ON.

Cutting Guide
Always inspect the appliance before use to ensure the clipper blades
are free from hair, debris etc. For best performance, use on clean, dry
hair that has been combed and tangle-free
1. Select the desired guide comb (numbered from 1.5 as the
shortest to 15 as the longest length) and place the groove of the
cutting guide onto the blades’ tip at the top of the Rapid Hair
Clippers (Fig 3). Firmly press the rear of the guide comb onto the
end of the blade until it ‘clicks’ and locks into position (Fig 4)
2. Place a cape or towel around your neck or around the neck of
the person whose hair is being trimmed
TIP: This person should be seated so that the top of their head is at
your eye level
3. Comb the hair as it is normally styled, be sure to comb out all
knots and tangles
TIP: Ensure the hair is dry. Rapid Hair Clippers perform best with dry
hair, making it easier to see how much hair is being cut
4. There are many ways to hold the Rapid Hair Clippers due to its ergonomic design. Below
are the recommended ways to hold the Rapid Hair Clippers, depending on the use.
· For clipping the top of the head see Figure 1.
· For clipping the back of the head see Figure 2.
· For clipping the sides of the head see Figure 3.
· For any nishing work or close trimming see Figure 4.

Getting Started
Tips for Cutting Hair
Step 1 – Nape of the neck
• Allow the clipper to cut through the hair without forcing it at a faster rate
• Use short strokes when cutting and initially use a long guide comb. You can always use a
shorter guide comb later if you want a closer cut.
• Use 3mm or 6mm guide comb
• Hold the Rapid Hair Clippers with the blade teeth pointing upwards. Begin starting at the
centre of the head at the base of the neck
• Slowly lift the Rapid Hair Clippers, work your way up and outwards through the hair,
trimming just a little at a time
Step 2 – Back & Side of the Head
• With the 9mm or 12mm guide comb, cut the hair at the back of the head
Step 3 – Side of the Head
• With the 3mm or 6mm guide comb, trim sideburns
• Then change to the longer 12mm or 15mm guide comb and continue to cut the top of the head
Step 4 – Top of the Head
• Using the 12mm or 15mm guide comb, cut the hair on the top of the head against the direction
in which the hair normally grows
• For longer hair, use scissors. Lift the hair on the top of the head with your ngers and cut to the
desired length
• Always work from the back of the head
Step 5 – To Finish
• Use the Rapid Hair Clippers without any guide comb for close trimming around the base and
sides of the beck
• To produce a clean straight line at the sideburns, reverse the clipper. Place the Rapid Hair
Clippers at right angles to the head, tips of the blade lightly touching the skin and work
downwards
• Hold the Rapid Hair Clippers to the front of your hair with the blades pointing towards the back
of your head and move the Rapid Hair Clippers towards your crown. Repeat as necessary,
moving in rows from the front and the sides of your head to the back
• You should achieve an even length cut all over your head
Outlining
• To tidy up the edges around your cut e.g. neckline and sideburns, detach the guide comb
• Hold the appliance upside down, so the front of the Rapid Hair Clippers is facing towards your
head
• Hold the Rapid Hair Clippers straight on your sideburns or neckline and move the Rapid Hair
Clippers downwards. This will give you a clean, smooth nish

Before cleaning the Rapid Hair Clippers ensure they are turned off and unplugged from power.
To maintain optimum performance, the appliance should be cleaned after each use:
• Remove the guide comb - the guide combs can be rinsed under water.
Please ensure comb’s surfaces are dried thoroughly before storage or further use.
• Using the cleaning brush, brush and blow away any remaining hair from the blades and from
the neck
• Do not disassemble the blades or the Rapid Hair Clippers
• Clean the appliance after every use
Storage
• When not in use, unplug the appliance and store out of reach of children in a safe, dry
location. Never wrap the cord around the appliance as this will cause the cord to wear
prematurely and break. Handle the cord carefully, and avoid jerking, twisting or straining
especially at plug connections
