Wichtige Information
Bitte lesen Sie sich diese Bedienungsanleitung sorgfältig durch. Dieses Babyfon ist nur
als Hilfsmittel gedacht. Es ist kein Ersatz für eine verantwortungsbewusste und korrekte
Aufsicht der Eltern und sollte daher auch nicht als solches eingesetzt werden.
●Das Babyfon und das Anschlusskabel des Netzteils niemals in die Reichweite des
Babys legen, bitte halten Sie einen Mindestabstand von 1 Meter.
●Stellen Sie das Babygerät niemals in das Babybett oder den Laufstall.
●Verwenden Sie das Babyfon niemals in der Nähe von Wasser oder an feuchten
Orten.
●Vermeiden Sie extreme Hitze- oder Lichteinwirkung.
●Öffnen Sie niemals die Gehäuse oder Netzteile (Gefahr von Stromschlägen !).
●Prüfen Sie, ob die lokale Netzspannung mit der angegebenen Spannung auf dem
Netzteil übereinstimmt.
●Vermeiden Sie die Berührung der Batterie- und Ladekontakte. Führen Sie keine
Metallgegenstände an die Kontakte.
Praktische Hinweise
Herkömmliche Funk-Babysitter erzeugen elektrische, magnetische und elektromagnetische
Felder. Durch die besondere Schirmung des BM 550 ECO sind im Abstand von 30 cm keine
elektrischen und magnetischen Felder mehr messbar. Elektromagnetische Felder entste-
hen durch Funkbetrieb und sind nicht vollständig vermeidbar. Platzieren Sie das Babygerät
deshalb mindestens in 1 Meter Abstand zum Baby.
●Decken Sie das Babygerät nie ab (z.B. mit einem Handtuch, Laken, usw.)
●Reinigen Sie das Babyfon mit einem feuchten Tuch
Vorbereitung Ihres Babyfons
1. Stellen Sie das Babygerät mindestens 1 Meter von Ihrem Baby entfernt auf.
Stellen Sie das Babygerät niemals in das Babybett oder den Laufstall.
2. Schließen Sie das Netzteil an den Anschluss am Babygerät an.
3. Stecken Sie das Netzteil in eine möglichst weit vom Baby entfernte Steckdose.
4. Schalten Sie das Babygerät ein, indem Sie den Kanal A oder B wählen.
5. Entfernen Sie sich mit dem Elterngerät vom Babygerät. Wenn die Einheiten zu nahe
beieinander stehen, kann ein hoher Pfeifton entstehen.
6. Schließen Sie das zweite Netzteil an den Anschluss am Elterngerät an.
7. Stecken Sie auch das zweite Netzteil in eine Steckdose.
8. Schalten Sie das Elterngerät ein und wählen Sie den gleichen Kanal wie beim
Babygerät.
9. Ihr Babyfon ist nun betriebsbereit, die Übertragung startet automatisch, wenn die
Babygerät durch ein Geräusch aktiviert wird.
10. Testen Sie zum Beispiel mit Hilfe eines Radios, ob die Übertragung an dem von Ihnen
gewählten Einsatzort gewährleistet ist.

Gebrauch Ihres Babyfons
1. Stellen Sie sicher, dass beide Geräte eingeschaltet sind und der gleiche Kanal
gewählt ist.
2. Stellen Sie die Ansprechempfindlichkeit des Mikrofons am Babygerät auf das von
Ihnen gewünschte Niveau ein. Anfangs empfiehlt sich eine Mittelstellung, die
individuell nachjustiert werden kann.
3. Stellen Sie die Lautstärke am Elterngerät Ihren Wünschen entsprechend ein. Wird
das Babygerät durch ein Geräusch im Kinderzimmer aktiviert, startet automatisch die
Übertragung und die Betriebskontrollleuchte des Elterngerätes wechselt für die
Dauer der Übertragung von grün auf rot.
Erklärung der Funktionen
Empfangskontrollanzeige / Empfangsüberwachung
Zwischen Eltern- und Babygerät besteht ein regelmäßiger Funkkontakt. Die Empfangs-
kontrollanzeige der Elterneinheit zeigt an, ob noch ein ausreichender Kontakt zum
Babygerät besteht. Alle 4 Lämpchen leuchten bei vollem Empfang, bei schwachem
Empfang leuchtet nur noch ein Lämpchen. Reißt der Funkkontakt vollständig ab, zum
Beispiel weil sich das Babygerät außerhalb der Reichweite befindet, oder weil die
Batterie des Babygerätes erschöpft ist, gibt das Elterngerät nach kurzer Zeit einen
Alarmton ab. Zusätzlich blinkt die Betriebskontrollleuchte. Alarmton und Blinken schalten
sich ab, sobald wieder Funkkontakt besteht.
Digitaler Pilotton / Vermeidung von Störungen
Das Babygerät sendet neben der Geräuschübertragung zusätzlich einen unhörbaren
Signalton. Die Elterneinheit startet den Empfang nur, wenn dieser Signalton empfangen
wird. Dadurch wird der Empfang fremder Funk-Babysitter nahezu ausgeschlossen.
Dennoch können in seltenen Fällen Störungen durch andere Funkanwendungen in der
Nähe auftreten. Beim Auftreten solcher Störungen oder bei schlechtem Empfang schalten
Sie beide Geräte auf den anderen Kanal um.
250 m Reichweite
Sie erzielen im Freien bei idealen Bedingungen mit Ihrem Babyfon eine Reichweite von ca.
250 Metern. Hindernisse wie Wände, Decken oder große Objekte beeinträchtigen die
Reichweite. Je mehr Hindernisse sich zwischen Baby- und Elterngerät befinden, desto
geringer wird die Reichweite.
Verwendung des mitgelieferten Akku-Packs
Elterngerät
1. Lösen Sie den Gürtelclip vom Gerät durch Schieben des Clips nach unten.
2. Öffnen Sie das Batteriefach, indem Sie die Schraube am Batteriefachdeckel lösen.






3. Legen Sie den mitgelieferten Akku-Pack unter Beachtung der korrekten Polung in das
Batteriefach. Achten Sie darauf, dass der Ladekontakt im Batteriefach hergestellt ist
(siehe B22 am Elterngerät).
4. Schieben Sie den Batteriefachdeckel wieder auf das Batteriefach und drehen Sie die
Schraube wieder fest. Das Batteriefach ist so vor unbeabsichtigtem Öffnen gesichert.
5. Befestigen Sie den Gürtelclip wieder am Gerät durch Einsetzen und Schieben nach
oben.
6. Schließen Sie das Netzteil an den Anschluss am Elterngerät an. Der Akku-Pack wird
nun automatisch aufgeladen. Die vollständige Ladung ist nach ca. 15 Stunden
abgeschlossen.
Babygerät
Der mitgelieferte Akku-Pack kann auch für das Babygerät verwendet werden. Gehen Sie
vor wie beim Elterngerät. Möchten Sie beide Geräte mit Akku-Pack betreiben, können Sie
einen zusätzlichen Akku-Pack unter der Babyfon® Modellnummer EAB 4 im Fachhandel
bestellen.
Verwendung anderer Akkus oder Batterien
Eltern- und Babygerät können auch mit handelsüblichen AAA Mikro-Akkus oder nicht-auf-
ladbaren 1,5 V AAA Batterien betrieben werden. Eine Aufladung handelsüblicher AAA
Mikro-Akkus über die Geräte ist allerdings nicht möglich.
Batteriealarm
Ein Signalton und eine blinkende Betriebskontrollleuchte warnt Sie, sobald die Akkus oder
Batterien im Elterngerät erschöpft sind. Sie sollten dann neue Batterien einlegen oder
Akkus wieder aufladen.
Entsorgung der Batterien
Entsorgen Sie die Batterien oder Akkus auf umweltfreundliche Weise. Batterien oder
Akkus gehören nicht in den Hausmüll. Verwenden Sie keine alten und neuen Batterien
oder unterschiedliche Batterietypen gleichzeitig. Entfernen Sie Batterien aus dem Gerät,
wenn es längere Zeit nicht verwendet wird.

Zulassung
Dieses Vivanco Funkprodukt entspricht der europäischen R&TTE Richtlinie für
Funksysteme in nicht harmonisierten Frequenzbereichen. Der Verkauf und Betrieb dieser
Systeme ist in folgenden Ländern möglich:
Deutschland, Frankreich, Niederlande, Belgien, Spanien, Portugal, Italien, Schweiz,
Österreich, Finnland, Norwegen, Schweden, Dänemark.

Sollte Ihr Babyfon BM 550 ECO nicht korrekt funktionieren, gehen Sie bitte in folgender
Reihenfolge vor:
1. Versuchen Sie mit Hilfe der folgenden Störungstabelle den Fehler zu finden und zu
beseitigen.
2. Lesen Sie den entsprechenden Abschnitt in dieser Anleitung sorgfältig durch.
3. Schauen Sie im Internet unter www.babyfon.de oder www.vivanco.com nach, ob der
Fehler und dessen Beseitigung dort beschrieben wird.
4. Fragen Sie Ihren Fachhändler.

Important information
Please read these instructions carefully. This Babyfon is only intended as an aid. It is not
a substitute for responsible, correct parental supervision and should therefore not be used
as such.
●Never place the Babyfon and the connecting cable within the baby's reach; please
observe a minimum distance of 1 metre.
●Never place the baby device in the baby's cot or playpen.
●Never use the Babyfon near water or in damp places.
●Avoid exposure to extreme heat or strong light.
●Never open the housings or AC adapters (danger of electric shock!).
●Make sure that the local mains voltage corresponds to the voltage specified on the
AC adapter.
●Avoid touching the battery and charging contacts. Do not touch the contacts with
metal objects.

Practical tips
Conventional wireless baby monitors create electrical, magnetic and electromagnetic
fields. Due to the special shielding of the BM 550 ECO, electrical and magnetic fields are
no longer detectable at a distance of 30 cm. Electromagnetic fields are produced by
wireless transmission and are not entirely avoidable. Therefore place the baby device at
least 1 metre away from the baby.
●Never cover the baby device (e.g. with a towel, sheet, etc.)
●Use a damp cloth to clean the Babyfon
Preparing your Babyfon
1. Place the baby device at least 1 metre away from your baby.
Never place the baby device in the cot or the playpen.
2. Connect the AC adapter to the connector on the baby device.
3. Plug the AC adapter into a mains socket as far away from the baby as possible.
4. Switch on the baby device by selecting channel A or B.
5. Take the parent device and move away from the baby device. If the units are placed
too close together, there may be a high-pitched whistling sound.
6. Connect the second AC adapter to the connector on the parent device.
7. Plug the second AC adapter into a mains socket.
8. Switch on the parent device and select the same channel as on the baby device.
9. Your Babyfon is now ready for use. Transmission begins automatically when the baby
device is activated by a noise.
10. Using a radio, for example, you can test whether transmission is ensured at the
location you have chosen.

Using your Babyfon
1. Make sure that both devices are switched on and that the same channel is selected.
2. Set the response sensitivity of the microphone on the baby device to the level you
require. To begin with, we recommend a middle position that can later be adjusted
as required.
3. Set the volume on the parent device to the level required. If the baby device is
activated by a noise in the baby's bedroom, transmission starts automatically and the
power-on lamp of the parent device changes from green to red for the duration of the
transmission.
Explanation of functions
Reception control indicator / reception monitoring
There is regular radio contact between the baby device and the parent device. The recep-
tion control indicator on the parent unit indicates whether there is still sufficient contact
to the baby device. All 4 lamps glow during full reception; only one lamp glows when
reception is weak. If radio contact breaks down completely, for example because the baby
device is outside the range, or because the batteries in the baby device are empty, the
parent device emits an alarm tone after a short time. In addition, the power-on lamp flas-
hes. The alarm tone and flashing stop automatically as soon as radio contact is resumed.
Digital pilot tone / preventing interference
Besides the sounds made by the baby, the baby device also transmits an inaudible signal
tone. The parent device only begins reception when this signal tone is received. This prac-
tically rules out the reception of external wireless baby monitors. In rare cases, however,
interference from other wireless devices in the vicinity may occur. In the event of such
interference or poor reception, switch both devices to the other channel.
250 m range
In ideal conditions, the range of your Babyfon outdoors is approx. 250 metres. Obstacles
such as walls, ceilings or large objects affect the range. The more obstacles there are
between the baby and parent devices, the smaller the range becomes.
Using the battery pack supplied
Parent device
1. Remove the belt clip from the device by sliding the clip downwards.
2. Open the battery compartment by loosening the screw on the battery compartment lid.

3. Insert the battery pack supplied in the battery compartment, observing the correct
polarity. Make sure that the charging contact has been made in the battery
compartment (see B22 on parent device).
4. Slide the battery compartment lid back on to the battery compartment and tighten
the screw again. This ensures that the battery compartment cannot be opened by
accident.
5. To re-attach the belt clip to the device, insert and slide upwards.
6. Connect the AC adapter to the connector on the parent device. The battery pack is
now charged automatically. Charging is complete after approx. 15 hours.
Baby device
The battery pack supplied can also be used for the baby device. Proceed as you did with
the parent device. If you want to power both devices with battery packs, you can order an
additional battery pack (Babyfon® model number EAB 4) from a specialist dealer.
Using other battery packs or batteries
The parent and baby devices can also be powered with standard AAA battery packs or
non-rechargeable 1.5V AAA batteries. However, standard AAA battery packs cannot be
charged using the devices.
Battery alarm
A signal tone and the flashing power-on lamp warn you as soon as the battery pack or
batteries in the parent device are empty. You should then insert new batteries or recharge
the battery pack.
Disposal of batteries
Consider the environment when disposing of the batteries or battery packs, which must
not be thrown away with domestic rubbish. Do not use old and new batteries or different
battery types simultaneously. Remove batteries from the device if it is not to be used for a
long time.

Information importante

●Ne laissez jamais le Babyfon et le câble de raccordement de l'adaptateur secteur à la

Conseils pratiques
Les dispositifs de surveillance sans fil génèrent normalement des champs électriques,
magnétiques et électromagnétiques. Grâce au blindage spécial du BM 550 ECO, les
champs électriques et magnétiques ne sont plus mesurables au-delà d'un rayon de 30 cm.
Les champs électromagnétiques sont générés par la transmission radio et ne peuvent pas
être entièrement évités. Placez par conséquent l'unité-enfant à une distance d'au moins 1
mètre de votre enfant.
●Ne couvrez jamais l'unité-enfant (par ex. avec une serviette, un drap etc.).
●Nettoyez le Babyfon avec un chiffon humide.
Préparation de votre Babyfon
1. Placez l'unité-enfant à une distance d'au moins 1 mètre de votre enfant.
Ne placez jamais l'unité-enfant dans le lit de votre enfant, ni dans son parc.
2. Reliez l'adaptateur secteur à la prise sur l'unité-enfant.
3. Raccordez l'adaptateur secteur à une prise de courant le plus possible éloignée de
votre enfant.
4. Activez l'unité-enfant en choisissant le canal A ou B.
5. Eloignez-vous de l'unité-enfant en emportant avec vous l'unité-parents. Lorsque les
deux unités sont trop près l'une de l'autre, un sifflement aigu peut se faire entendre.
6. Reliez le deuxième adaptateur secteur à la prise sur l'unité-parents.
7. Raccordez également le deuxième adaptateur secteur à une prise de courant.
8. Activez l'unité-parents puis choisissez le même canal que celui réglé sur
l'unité-enfant.
9. Maintenant, le Babyfon est prêt à fonctionner. La transmission démarre
automatiquement dès qu'un bruit active l'unité-enfant.
10. Testez, par ex. à l'aide d'un poste de radio, si la transmission est réellement possible
à l'endroit voulu.

Utilisation de votre Babyfon
1. Assurez-vous que les deux appareils sont allumés et que le même canal est choisi.
2. Réglez sur l'unité-enfant le niveau voulu de sensibilité du microphone. Nous
recommandons, au départ, une position moyenne, que vous pourrez par la suite
corriger à loisir.
3. Réglez sur l'unité-parents le volume suivant vos exigences. Dès que dans la chambre
d'enfants, un bruit active l'unité-enfant, la transmission démarre automatiquement,
tandis que le voyant de contrôle de fonctionnement de l'unité-parents passe de vert
à rouge pour la durée de la transmission.
Explication des fonctions
Indication de réception / Contrôle de réception
L'unité-parents et l'unité-enfant sont en contact radio permanent l'une avec l'autre.
L'indication de réception de l'unité-parents indique si le contact avec l'unité-enfant est
toujours suffisant. Les voyants sont tous les 4 allumés si la réception est bonne. En cas
de réception faible, seul un voyant est allumé. En cas de perte de contact radio, par ex.
parce que l'unité-enfant est hors portée, ou que sa pile est épuisée, l'unité-parents émet
aussitôt un signal d'alarme acoustique, tandis que le voyant de contrôle de
fonctionnement clignote. Le signal d'alarme acoustique et le clignotement s'arrêtent dès
que le contact radio est rétabli.
Contrôle numérique automatique audio / Eviter les parasites
Outre qu'elle retransmet le bruit, l'unité-enfant émet aussi un signal acoustique inaudible.
L'unité-parents ne démarre la réception qu'à la réception de ce signal acoustique. Il est
ainsi possible d'exclure presque entièrement la réception de signaux provenant d'autres
dispositifs de surveillance sans fil. Le risque demeure cependant, bien que les cas soient
rares, qu'il y ait des parasites dus à d'autres appareils radioélectriques situés à proximité.
En cas de tels parasites ou de mauvaise réception, réglez les deux appareils sur un autre
canal.
Portée de 250 m
En plein air, dans de bonnes conditions, le Babyfon peut atteindre une portée d'env. 250
mètres. Des obstacles tels que cloisons, plafonds ou de gros objets diminuent la portée.
Plus il y a d'obstacles entre l'unité-enfant et l'unité-parents, moindre est la portée.
Utilisation du pack d'accus fourni
Unité-parents
1. Détachez le clip ceinture de l'appareil en poussant le clip vers le bas.
2. Ouvrez le compartiment des piles en dévissant la vis située sur le couvercle du
compartiment.

3. Placez dans le compartiment des piles le pack d'accus fourni en prêtant attention à la
polarité. Assurez-vous que dans le compartiment des piles, le contact de charge est
bien établi (voir B22 sur l'unité-parents).
4. Remettez le couvercle du compartiment des piles sur le compartiment, puis resserrez
la vis. Le compartiment des piles est ainsi bloqué, ce qui évite une ouverture
involontaire.
5. Remettez en place le clip ceinture sur l'appareil, en l'insérant d'abord et en le
poussant ensuite vers le haut.
6. Reliez l'adaptateur secteur à la prise sur l'unité-parents. La charge du pack d'accus
démarre aussitôt automatiquement. Une charge complète demande env. 15 heures.
Unité-enfant
Le pack d'accus fourni peut être utilisé également pour l'unité-enfant. Veuillez procéder
comme pour l'unité-parents. Si vous voulez utiliser un pack d'accus pour chacun des
appareils, vous pouvez commander dans le commerce spécialisé un pack d'accus supplé-
mentaire sous le code Babyfon® « EAB 4 ».
Utilisation d'autres accus ou piles
Pour l'alimentation de l'unité parents et de l'unité-enfant, vous pouvez utiliser également
des accus R03 (AAA) standards ou des piles R03 (AAA) de 1,5 V non rechargeables. Vous
ne pouvez cependant pas charger d'accus R03 (AAA) standards via les appareils.
Alarme de la pile
Un signal acoustique et un voyant clignotant de contrôle de fonctionnement vous avertis-
sent lorsque les accus ou les piles en place dans l'unité-parents sont épuisés. Remplacez
alors les piles ou rechargez les accus.
Elimination des piles
Eliminez les piles ou les accus de façon écologique. Piles et accus ne sont pas des
déchets ménagers. N'utilisez pas simultanément des piles usagées et des piles neuves ou
des types différents de piles. Si vous envisagez de ne pas utiliser l'appareil pour long-
temps, retirez les piles.

Información importante
Rogamos lea esmeradamente estas instrucciones para el uso. Este Babyfon es nada más
que un medio auxiliar y no sustituye a una vigilancia responsable y correcta por parte de
los padres, por lo que no se debería usarlo de tal manera.
●No posicione nunca al alcance del bebé el Babyfon y el cable de conexión del bloque
de alimentación. Debería guardar una distancia de seguridad mínima de 1 metro!
●No posicione nunca el aparato para el bebé en la camita del mismo o en el corral!
●No use nunca el Babyfon en la cercanía de agua o en lugares húmedos!
●No lo exponga a calor o radiación incidente de luz fuertes!
●No abra nunca la caja del aparato o los bloques de alimentación (peligro de
electrocuciones)!
●Controle, si la tensión local es idéntica con la tensión indicada en el bloque de
alimentación!
●No toque los contactos de las pilas y las de carga! No toque los contactos con
objetos metálicos!

Informaciones para el uso
Los usuales babysitters inalámbricos originan campos eléctricos, magnéticos y electro-
mag-néticos. Debido al blindaje especial del BM 550 ECO, dentro de un ámbito de 30 cm
ya no son medibles ni campos eléctricos ni magnéticos. No obstante, no es posible evitar
por completo los campos electromagnéticos originados por transmisiones radioeléctricas.
Por eso, se recomienda posicionar la unidad para el bebé a una distancia de por lo menos
1 metro del bebé.
●¡No tape nunca el aparato para el bebé (p.ej. mediante una toalla, sábana, etc.)!
●¡Limpie el Babyfon mediante un trapo húmedo.
Preparar su Babyfon
1. Posicione el aparato para el bebé a una distancia de por lo menos 1 metro de su
bebé!
No posicione nunca el aparato para el bebé en la camita del mismo o en el corral!
2. Conecte el bloque de alimentación a la conexión del aparato para el bebé!
3. Enchufe el bloque de alimentación en un tomacorriente situado tan lejos posible de
su bebé!
4. Active el aparato para el bebé seleccionando el canal A o el canal B!
5. Aléjese, con el aparato para los padres, del aparato para el bebé! Si las unidades se
encuentran demasiado cercanas la una a la otra, puede resultar un sonido pío agudo.
6. Conecte el segundo bloque de alimentación a la conexión situada en el aparato para
los padres!
7. Enchufe el segundo bloque de alimentación a un tomacorriente!
8. Active el aparato para los padres y seleccione el mismo canal antes ajustado en el
aparato para el bebé.
9. Ahora, su Babyfon está listo para el servicio y el modo de transmisión es activado
automáticamente en cuanto el aparato para el bebé es activado a través de un ruido.
10. Puede controlar la transmisión correcta usando, p.ej., una radio.

Usar su Babyfon
1. Asegúrese de que ambas unidades están activadas y que están ajustados en
los mismos canales!
2. Ajuste al nivel requerido la sensibilidad de respuesta del micrófono en el aparato
para el bebé. Para empezar, se recomienda elegir un nivel medio y ajustar, después,
el nivel individualmente requerido.
3. Ajuste según requerido el nivel de volumen en la unidad para los padres. Si la unidad
para el bebé es activado mediante algún ruido, la transmisión es iniciada automáti
camente y la lámpara de control de servicio de la unidad para los padres durante la
transmisión da luz roja en vez de luz verde.
Las funciones
Indicador de control de recepción / Control de recepción
Entre la unidad para los padres y la para el bebé existe un continuo contacto
radioeléctrico. El indicador de control de recepción de la unidad para los padres indica, si
todavía es suficiente el contacto con la unidad para el bebé. A un nivel de recepción
óptimo están encendidas 4 lámparas, si el nivel es bajo, sólo una lámpara está
encendida. si el contacto radioeléctrico es completamente interrumpido, p.ej. en el caso
de que la unidad para el bebé esté fuera del alcance o en el caso de pilas agotadas,
después de un momento la unidad para los padres da un sonido de alarma.
Adicionalmente, el indicador de control de recepción da luz intermitente. Tanto el sonido
de alarma como también la luz intzermitente se apagan en cuanto se haya restablecido el
contacto radioeléctrico.
Señal de identificación digital / Evitar perturbaciones
Adicionalmente a la transmisión de ruidos, la unidad para el bebé también transmite una
señal inaudible. La unidad para los padres sólo inicia el proceso de recepción, si es
recibida esta señal. De esta manera se evita casi por completo la recepción de extraños
babysitters radioeléctricos. No obstante, en ciertos casos pueden originarse
perturbaciones causadas por otros componentes radioeléctricos transmitidas en la
cercanía. Caso que se originen tales perturbaciones o si la calidad de la recepción resulta
mala debería cambiar de canal en ambos aparatos.
Alcance de 250 m
Al aire libre y bajo condiciones ideales, el alcance de su Babyfon es de aproximadamente
250 metros. Obstáculos como paredes, techos o objetos grandes afectan al alcance. Tanto
más obstáculos se encuentren entre la unidad para el bebé y la para los padres, lo más se
reduce el alcance.
Empleo del acumulador incluído en el volumen de suministro
Unidad para los padres
1. ¡Suelte el clip de cinturón del aparato empujando el clip hacia abajo!

2. ¡Abra el compartimiento de pilas soltando el tornillo situado en la tapa del
compartimiento!
3. ¡Coloque el acumulador suministrado observando la polaridad correcta- en el
compartimiento de pilas! ¡Preste atención a que hay contacto de carga en el
compartimiento de pilas (véase B22 en la unidad de los padres).
4. ¡Coloque nuevamente empujándola la tapa del compartimiento de pilas y fije de
nuevo el tornillo. De esta manera, el compartimiento de pilas está asegurado contra
un abrirlo involuntariamente.
5. Fije de nuevo el clip de cinturón en el aparato colocando y empujándolo hacia arriba.
6. Conecte el bloque de alimentación a la conexión respectiva de la unidad para los
padres. El acumulador es cargado automáticamente. El tiempo de carga se eleva a
aprox.15 horas.
Unidad para el bebé
También puede emplear el acumulador suministrado en la unidad para el bebé. Proceda
como indicado para la unidad para los padres. Si desea emplear este tipo de acumulador
en ambas unidades, en el comercio especializado puede adquirir otro acumulador del tipo
Babyfon‚ EAB4
Emplear otros tipos de acumuladores o pilas
Tanto para la unidad del bebé como para la de los padres también puede emplear o
micro-acu-muladores del tipo AAA usuales en el comercio o pilas no recargables del tipo
1,5 V AAA. No es posible cargar micro-acumuladores del tipo AAA a través de los
aparatos.
Alarma de pilas
Una señal de alarma y una lámpara de servicio de luz intermitente le avisa, en cuanto los
a-cumuladores o las pilas colocados en la unidad para los padres estén agotados.
Entonces, debería o colocar pilas nuevas o recargar los acumuladores.
Eliminación de pilas / acumuladores
Elimine las pilas o acumuladores gastados en manera ecológica y no los tire con la basura
doméstica. ¡No emplea a la vez pilas nuevas y viejas o diferentes tipos de pilas! ¡Saque
las pilas de las unidad, si no las usa durante un período más largo!

●Mai utilizzare il Babyfon nella vicinanza di acqua o in luoghi umidi.
●Evitare l’esposizione al calore eccessivo e alla luce solare.
●Mai aprire gli apparecchi o gli alimentatori (rischio di scosse elettriche!).
●Verificare se la tensione di alimentazione locale corrisponde con la tensione indicata
sull’alimentatore.
●Evitare di toccare i contatti delle pile e i contatti di carica. Non toccare i contatti con
oggetti metallici.

Avvertenze pratiche
I normali baby-sitter senza fili generano campi elettrici, magnetici e elettromagnetici.
Grazie alla particolare schermatura del BM 550 ECO, i campi elettrici e magnetici non
sono più misurabili oltre un raggio di 30 cm. I campi elettromagnetici sono generati dalla
trasmissione radio e non sono completamente evitabili. Sistemare perciò l’unità bambino
ad una distanza di almeno 1 metro dal bambino.
●Mai coprire l’unità bambino (ad es. con un asciugamano, un lenzuolo ecc.).
●Pulire il Babyfon con un panno umido.
Preparazione del Babyfon
1. Sistemare l’unità bambino ad una distanza di almeno 1 metro dal bambino.
Mai mettere l’unità bambino nel lettino o nel box.
2. Collegare l’alimentatore al connettore sull’unità bambino.

5. Allontanarsi dall’unità bambino portando con sé l’unità genitori. Se le unità sono
troppo vicine l’una all’altra, è possibile udire un fischio.
6. Collegare il secondo alimentatore al connettore sull’unità genitori.
7. Inserire anche il secondo alimentatore in una presa di corrente.
8. Attivare l’unità genitori e selezionare lo stesso canale su cui è impostata l’unità
bambino.
9. Adesso il Babyfon è pronto per l’uso; l’avvio della trasmissione è automatico non
appena un rumore attiva l’unità bambino.
10. Effettuare un test, magari con l’ausilio di un apparecchio radio, per verificare se la
trasmissione sia realmente possibile sul luogo desiderato.

Uso del Babyfon
1. Controllare che entrambi gli apparecchi siano accesi e che lo stesso canale sia
selezionato.
2. Impostare sul livello desiderato la sensibilità di risposta del microfono sull’unità
bambino. Si consiglia all’inizio una posizione di mezzo, la quale poi può essere
corretta a piacere.
3. Regolare il volume sull’unità genitori in funzione delle proprie esigenze. Non appena
nella stanza del bambino un rumore attiva l’unità bambino, la trasmissione si avvia
automaticamente e la spia di controllo del funzionamento dell’unità genitori passa da
verde a rosso per la durata della trasmissione.
Spiegazione delle funzioni
Spia di controllo di ricezione / Controllo della ricezione
Tra l’unità genitori e l’unità bambino c’è un costante contatto radio. La spia di controllo di
ricezione dell’unità genitori indica se il contatto con l’unità bambino è ancora sufficiente.
Tutte e 4 le spie sono accese quando la ricezione è ottima; con una ricezione scarsa, è
accesa una sola spia. In caso di perdita del contatto radio, ad esempio perché l’unità
bambino si trova fuori portata, o perché la pila dell’unità bambino è esaurita, l’unità
genitori emette nel giro di poco un segnale di allarme. Inoltre lampeggia la spia di
controllo del funzionamento. Il segnale di allarme e il lampeggiamento smettono al
ristabilirsi del contatto radio.
Autocontrollo audio digitale / Evitare le interferenze
Oltre al rumore, l’unità bambino trasmette pure un segnale acustico non percettibile.
L’unità genitori passa in ricezione solo alla ricezione di questo segnale acustico. In questo
modo è possibile escludere quasi completamente la ricezione di segnali provenienti da
altri baby-sitter senza fili. E’ comunque possibile che ci siano interferenze dovute ad altri
ricetrasmettitori situati nelle vicinanze. Nel caso di tali interferenze o di cattiva ricezione,
regolare entrambi gli apparecchi su un altro canale.
250 m di portata
All’aperto, in condizioni ottimali, il Babyfon può raggiungere una portata massima di circa
250 metri. Ostacoli quali pareti, soffitti o grandi oggetti, riducono la portata. Quanto mag-
giore è la quantità di ostacoli presenti tra l’unità bambino e l’unità genitori, tanto minore
è la portata.
Utilizzo dell’Accu-Pack fornito
Unità genitori
1. Staccare il gancio da cintura dall’apparecchio spingendo verso il basso il clip.
2. Aprire il vano batterie svitando la vite sul coperchio del vano.

3. Inserire l’Accu-Pack fornito nel vano batterie prestando attenzione alla polarità.
Accertarsi che nel vano batterie il contatto di carica sia stabilito (vedere B22
sull’unità genitori).
4. Ricollocare il coperchio del vano batterie sul vano batterie e stringere nuovamente la
vite. In questo modo il vano batterie è bloccato contro l’apertura involontaria.
5. Applicare nuovamente il gancio da cintura sull’apparecchio, prima inserendolo, poi
spingendolo verso l’alto.
6. Collegare l’alimentatore al connettore sull’unità genitori. La carica dell’Accu-Pack
inizia adesso automaticamente. Per la carica completa sono necessarie circa 15 ore.
Unità bambino
L’Accu-Pack fornito può essere utilizzato anche per l’unità bambino. Procedere come per
l’unità genitori. Se si desidera utilizzare un Accu-Pack per ciascun apparecchio, è possibile
acquistare in un negozio specializzato un Accu-Pack aggiuntivo con il codice Babyfon®
“EAB 4”.
Utilizzo di altri accumulatori o pile
Per il funzionamento dell’unità genitori e dell’unità bambino è possibile utilizzare anche
normali accumulatori ministilo (AAA) o pile ministilo (AAA) da 1,5 V non ricaricabili. Non
possibile, invece, è la carica dei normali accumulatori ministilo (AAA) mediante gli
apparecchi.
Allarme batteria
Un segnale acustico e una spia lampeggiante di controllo del funzionamento avvertono
quando gli accumulatori o le pile presenti nell’unità genitori sono esauriti. In un tale caso
provvedere alla sostituzione delle pile o alla ricarica degli accumulatori.
Smaltimento delle pile
Smaltire le pile o gli accumulatori in maniera ecologicamente corretta. Le batterie e gli
accumulatori non devono essere gettati nei rifiuti domestici. Non utilizzare
simultaneamente pile vecchie e nuove o di diverso tipo. Togliere le pile dall’apparecchio
in previsione di non utilizzo per lungo periodo di tempo.

Belangrijke informatie
Lees deze handleiding zorgvuldig door. Deze babyfoon is alleen maar als hulpmiddel
bedoeld. Het toestel vervangt een verantwoord en goed toezicht van de ouders niet en
dient daarom ook niet zo te worden gebruikt.
●Leg de babyfoon en de aansluitingskabel van de voeding nooit binnen het bereik van
de baby, houd een minimale afstand van 1 meter aan.
●Zet het babytoestel nooit in het babybed of in de box.
●Gebruik de babyfoon nooit in de buurt van water of op vochtige plaatsen.
●Voorkom extreme hitte- of direct zonlicht.
●Open nooit de behuizing of voedingen (pas op voor elektrische schokken!).
●Controleer of de lokale netspanning overeenkomt met de spanning die op de voeding
is vermeld.
●Voorkom het aanraken van de batterij- en laadcontacten. Houd geen metalen
voorwerpen tegen de contacten aan.

Praktische aanwijzingen
Traditionele draadloze babysitters wekken elektrische, magnetische en
elektromagnetische velden op. Door de bijzondere afscherming van de BM 550 ECO zijn
op een afstand van 30 cm geen elektrische en magnetische velden meer meetbaar.
Elektromagnetische velden ontstaan door zendactiviteiten en zijn niet helemaal te voorko-
men. Plaats het babytoestel daarom op minimaal 1 meter van de baby.
●Dek het babytoestel nooit af (bijv. met een handdoek, laken, etc.)
●Reinig de babyfoon met een vochtige doek
Voorbereiding van uw babyfoon
1. Zet het babytoestel minimaal 1 meter van uw baby vandaan.
Zet het babytoestel nooit in het babybed of in de box.
2. Sluit de voeding aan op de aansluiting van het babytoestel.
3. Sluit de voeding aan op een contactdoos die zo ver mogelijk van de baby is
verwijderd.
4. Schakel het babytoestel in door kanaal A of B te kiezen.
5. Verwijder u met het oudertoestel van het babytoestel. Als de eenheden te dicht bij
elkaar staan, kan er een hoge fluittoon ontstaan.
6. Sluit de tweede voeding aan op de aansluiting van het babytoestel.
7. Steek ook de tweede voeding in een contactdoos.
8. Schakel het oudertoestel in en kies hetzelfde kanaal als bij het babytoestel.
9. Uw babyfoon is nu bedrijfsklaar, het zenden start automatisch wanneer het
babytoestel door een geluid wordt geactiveerd.
10. Test bijvoorbeeld met behulp van een radio of het zenden op de door u gekozen
plaats goed verloopt.

Gebruik van uw babyfoon
1. Overtuig u ervan dat beide toestellen zijn ingeschakeld en hetzelfde kanaal is
gekozen.
2. Stel de aanspreekgevoeligheid van de microfoon op het babytoestel in op het door u
gewenste niveau. In het begin is het aan te bevelen om het toestel in de middelste
stand te zetten, die individueel kan worden bijgesteld.
3. Stel het volume op het oudertoestel in zoals u wenst. Wanneer het babytoestel door
een geluid in de kinderkamer wordt geactiveerd, dan start automatisch het zenden en
het controlelampje van het oudertoestel wordt tijdens het ontvangen rood in plaats
van groen.
Verklaring van de functies
Ontvangstcontrolelampje / ontvangstcontrole
Tussen ouders- en babytoestel bestaat een regelmatig draadloos contact. Het
ontvangstcontrolelampje van de oudereenheid geeft aan of er nog voldoende contact met
het babytoestel is. Alle 4 lampjes branden bij volledige ontvangst, bij zwakke ontvangst
brandt er nog maar een lampje. Wanneer het draadloze contact volledig wordt
afgebroken, bijvoorbeeld omdat het babytoestel zich buiten het bereik bevindt, of omdat
de batterij van het babytoestel leeg is, geeft het oudertoestel na korte tijd een
alarmsignaal. Bovendien knippert het controlelampje. Het alarmsignaal en het knipperen
worden uitgeschakeld, zodra er weer draadloos contact bestaat.
Digitale piloottoon / Voorkomen van storingen
Het babytoestel zendt behalve geluid bovendien een niet hoorbare signaaltoon. De
oudereenheid begint alleen met ontvangen, wanneer deze signaaltoon wordt ontvangen.
Daardoor is de ontvangst van vreemde draadloze babysitters nagenoeg uitgesloten. Toch
kunnen in zeldzame gevallen storingen optreden door andere draadloze toepassingen in
de buurt. Bij het optreden van dergelijke storingen of bij slechte ontvangst schakelt u
beide toestellen over op het andere kanaal.
250 m bereik
U realiseert in de open lucht onder ideale omstandigheden met uw babyfoon een bereik
van ca. 250 meter. Barrières zoals wanden, vloeren of grote voorwerpen hebben een
nadelige invloed op het bereik. Hoe meer barrières zich tussen baby- en oudertoestel
bevinden, des te geringer wordt het bereik.
Gebruik van de bijgeleverde accupack
Oudertoestel
1. Verwijder de riemclip van het toestel door de clip naar onderen te schuiven.
2. Open het batterijvak door de schroef op het batterijvakdeksel los te draaien.

3. Plaats de bijgeleverde accupack in het batterijvak en let daarbij op de juiste
polariteit. Let erop dat laadcontact met de batterij in het batterijvak is gemaakt (zie
B22 op het oudertoestel)
4. Schuif het batterijvakdeksel weer op het batterijvak en draai de schroef weer vast.
Het batterijvak is beveiligd tegen onopzettelijk openen.
5. Bevestig de riemclip weer aan het toestel door deze te plaatsen en omhoog te
schuiven.
6. Sluit de voeding aan op de aansluiting van het oudertoestel. De accupack wordt nu
automatisch opgeladen. Het volledig opladen duurt ca. 15 uur.
Babytoestel
De bijgeleverde accupack kan ook voor het babytoestel worden gebruikt. Ga te werk zoals
bij het oudertoestel. Indien u beide toestellen met een accupack wilt gebruiken, kunt u
een extra accupack onder Babyfon® modelnummer EAB 4 in de speciaalzaak bestellen.
Gebruik van andere (oplaadbare) batterijen
Ouder- en babytoestel kunnen ook worden gebruikt met gebruikelijke AAA mini-penlights
of niet-oplaadbare 1,5 V AAA batterijen. Het opladen van gebruikelijke AAA mini-pen-
lights via de toestellen is echter niet mogelijk.
Batterijalarm
Een signaaltoon en een knipperend controlelampje waarschuwen u, zodra de (oplaadbare)
batterijen in het oudertoestel leeg zijn. U moet dan nieuwe batterijen plaatsen of de
oplaadbare batterijen weer opladen.
Verwijdering van de batterijen
Verwijder de batterijen of oplaadbare batterijen op milieuvriendelijke wijze. (Oplaadbare)
batterijen behoren niet bij het huisvuil te worden gedaan. Gebruik geen oude en nieuwe
batterijen of verschillende types batterijen tegelijkertijd. Verwijder de batterijen uit het
toestel, als ze langere tijd niet worden gebruikt.

Käytännöllisiä ohjeita
Tavalliset langattomat lastenvalvontalaitteet synnyttävät sähkömagneettisia kenttiä.
BM 550 ECO:n erikoissuojauksen ansiosta sähköisiä tai magneettisia kenttiä ei ole mah-
dollista mitata enää 30 cm:n päässä laitteesta. Sähkömagneettiset kentät syntyvät langat-
toman käytön seurauksena eikä niitä ole mahdollista välttää täysin. Aseta vauvan yksikkö
siksi vähintään 1 metrin päähän vauvasta.
●Älä koskaan peitä vauvan yksikköä (esim. pyyhkeellä, lakanalla jne.)
●Puhdista Babyfon kostealla liinalla.
Babyfonin käyttöönotto
1. Aseta vauvan yksikkö vähintään 1 metrin päähän vauvasta.
Älä koskaan aseta vauvan yksikköä vauvan sänkyyn tai leikkikehään.
2. Liitä verkkolaite vauvan yksikön virtaliittimeen.
3. Työnnä verkkolaite pistorasiaan, joka on mahdollisimman kaukana vauvasta.
4. Kytke vauvan yksikkö päälle valitsemalla kanava A tai B.
5. Siirry vanhempien yksikön kanssa etäälle vauva yksiköstä. Jos yksiköt ovat liian
lähellä toisiaan, saattaa syntyä korkea viheltävä ääni.
6. Liitä toinen verkkolaite vanhempien yksikön virtaliittimeen.
7. Työnnä myös toinen verkkolaite pistorasiaan.
8. Kytke vanhempien yksikkö päälle ja valitse siihen sama kanava kuin vauvan
yksikköön.
