1. INTRODUCTION
The correct and safe operation of ducted
hoods and extractor fans is only ensured if
they are used in accordance with the
instructions in this manual and in general in
the documentation accompanying the
machine.
It is therefore essential to read and keep all
accompanying documentation carefully.
Although the machine is equipped with
safety systems, all risks due to incorrect use
cannot be avoided.
No liability is accepted for damage to
persons or property resulting from improper
use of the machine.
1.1. GUARANTEE
The machine is covered by a warranty
against manufacturing defects for a period of
twelve (12) months.
The guarantee is only valid if the machine
has been installed and operated in accordance
with the manufacturer's instructions and has
not been subjected to any handling.
The warranty period starts from the date of
shipment of the machine from Vortex srl.
The guarantee includes the replacement of
defective parts; the labour required for their
replacement and out-of-pocket expenses
(transport, board, lodging, etc.) are borne by
the customer.
Parts subject to wear and tear are not
covered by warranty.
ATTENTION! The warranty is
immediately void if work is carried out
on the machine by unauthorised
personnel.
1.2. AUTHORISED PERSONNEL
Repairs and extraordinary maintenance
work on the machine may only be carried out
by Vortex srl personnel or personnel
authorised by Vortex srl.
Information on the personnel to be
contacted for interventions can be obtained
directly from Vortex Ltd.
