Introduction
Thank you for purchasing VRL WASH-493 high power LED wall washer. This product is
featured with balanced mix of red, green and blue LED, and operated via DMX, stand-alone
and master/slave.

Safety Information
Read this manual before powering on or installing the fixture. Follow the safety information
listed below and observe all warnings in this manual. If you have any questions about how to
operate this fixture safely, please contact the dealer or VRL.
Make sure the fixture is always electrically grounded. And use only the power supply in
compliance with electrical code.
Replace the fuse and the bulbs with the same specified type.
No spare parts are available. If needed, please contact VRL.
Do not operate in temperatures above 104 Degree Fahrenheit
If you have any problems, please contact the professionals or the technicians.
Note : (How to ground )
Under the circumstances that the mains power is not grounded (earthed), it is
strongly recommended that the base housing should be grounded (earthed) in
case of the potential damage caused by the electrostatic or electricity
accumulation.

For PAN or TILT adjustment, please use the 6mm hex key for TILT and 3mm hex key for
PAN.

The Function of Subsidiary Menu
Ⅰ.Pgset Subsidiary Menu:
Pgset:Press “enter” for 2-3 minutes to the lower-ranking menu and edit the
parameter of each program.
(1)、 SCEN:select the scenes 1-10
(2)、 FIXT:The slaver’s no. is selectable via Master. : All, Odd, Even, certain
slaver.
(3)、 shutter:edit the shutter of the scene. “ fast shutter”, “gradual bright-up
and fast black-out”, “fast bright-up and gradual black-out”, “random
shutter” etc. available. For each style, the speed is selectable.
(4)、 dimmer:Edit the brightness of the current scene.
(5)、 R=000/ G=000/ B=000:RGB LED Brightness
(6)、 mac:Select the internal effect of the projector.
(7)、 tm_h、tm_m、tm_s:Set the scenes’ running time (hour, minute and
second)
(8)、 fd_h、fd_m、fd_s:Set the fade time of the current scene (hour, minute
and second).
(9)、 SCNRUN:Enable the scene.
After the setting, please press “enter” for 2-3 minutes to save the
parameter.
Ⅱ.SCHEDU Subsidiary Menu:
Parameter for every event
(1)、 event:Select the event to be edited
(2)、 program:Select the program
(3)、 day:Select the running weekday from Monday to Sunday.
(4)、 start:Select the exact start time of the event
(5)、 end:Select the exact ending time of the event.
(6)、 enable:Enable the event

Maintenance and Cleansing
一、 Troubleshooting
Trouble
Cause

Fixtures do not respond.
No power supply
Check the mains power
switch and the cables.
Fuse burned
Disconnect the power and
replace the fuse.
If fuses
continue to burn out, there
is a problem with the
circuitry. Please consult a
technician
The reset is normal. But the
fixtures do not respond or
act abnormally via
controller or Master /Slave.
Incorrect or incomplete
data connection
Check the data cable.
Ensure the signal input of
the first fixture and the
output of the controller to
be connected.
Whether set to Master
mode or not
Set to Slave mode via DMX
control
Wrong DMX address
Check and unify the
address setting.
The signal port of one lamp
has failures.
Pull out the signal output
and input of one fixture.
Then connect both directly.
Do the same with the rest
of the fixtures to see which
fixture has problems. If you
find a problem with one of
the ports, contact a
technician.
The signal output of the
controller doesn’t match the
signal input of the lamp.

二、 Cleansing
Washer VRL WASH-493 requires simple routine maintenance to ensure its long life span and
best performance.
1. Maintain the cleaning of the fan and the air vents. Dust should be removed from the fan
and the vents periodically to secure the cooling and heat dissipation.
2.Maintain the cleaning of the optical components.
3.Make sure everything is electrically grounded for safety.
