Safety Information
* This product must only be used as intended in accordance with the
operating instructions
* This product is for indoor use only.
* Do not allow the product to be exposed to rain or moisture.
* Do not block the ventilation holes on the back of the product.
* Avoid extremes of temperature, either hot or cold, place the product away from
heat sources.
* Do not open the case of the Digital Display. There is a risk of electric shock and there
are no user serviceable parts inside. Opening the case will void your warranty.
* Do not strike the LCD screen
* Always use suitable wall xings if mounting the product on a wall
* Avoid placing the product where the power cable might be accidentally trapped or
damaged, or cause a trip hazard to others.
* Do not operate the product if the cable or plug becomes damaged.
Caution: The power adaptor will be supplying power to the unit when connected,
even if the unit appears to be off. The power adaptor must be removed from the
mains socket to power off completely.

into the power socket
on the underside of the
product and plug into a
mains socket.
Getting Started
Locate the Digital Display in the desired position using either the Desktop Stand
provided or a vued mounting accessory (go to www.vued.co.uk to purchase).

1. Place the Remote Control
with the control buttons
facing downward.
2. While pressing down on
the ridged area of the battery
cover pull the tray out.
3. Place a “CR2025” lithium
battery on the tray with
the positive “+” end facing
toward you.
4. Close the tray.
Installing and Replacing the Remote Control Battery
Push the power switch
on the underside of the
Digital Display to “ON”.

Insert the memory card with the front label facing away from you. Do not force the memory
card into the memory slot. If you are not able to easily insert the memory card completely,
you may have inserted it in the wrong way.
You will see the following screen if you insert the memory card/USB correctly. Make sure
you have at least one le stored on the memory card. The Display will not function properly
without a stored le.

Inserting a Memory Device
Compatible File types
You can use your Digital Display to
show still images, play video les, and
or play MP3 sound les.
The Digital Display will only recognise
the following le types:
* Still Images: JPEG (DCF & Photoshop’s Baseline)
* Music: MP3 (at 128K/44.1KHz)
* Video: Divx/Xvid les and MPEG-4 les (at 640x480/2000kbps)

Displaying a Still Image
1. On the main menu use the Right/Left arrows on the
Remote Control or on the unit to highlight the ‘Photo’
folder and press Enter to select.
2. Highlight an image and press Enter to display only
that image.

Remote Control or on the
unit to highlight the ‘Photo’
folder and press Enter to

2. Press the SLIDESHOW
button on the remote control
or hold down the Enter key
on the unit for 3 seconds to
activate the slideshow mode.
3. Press Exit on the Remote
Control or the ESC key on
the unit to stop the Slide
Show mode.
Slide Show and
MP3 music
To display still images and
play your MP3 music les at
the same time:
1. In the main menu or a le
folder press the SET UP key
on the remote control or hold
down the ESC button on the
unit for 3 seconds to access
the SET UP drop down
menu.
2. On the drop down menu
press the down arrow key to
highlight the ‘Photo’ option
and press Enter
3. Press the down arrow
key to highlight the ‘Slide
Music’ option and press
enter
4. Press the Up/Down
arrow to highlight the desired
‘On’ or ‘Off’ option and press
the Enter key to select.
Adjusting the volume
Adjust the volume by using VOL+ / VOL- keys on
the Remote Control, or holding down the Right/Left
arrows on the unit for 3 seconds.
Playing Video les and
MP3 Music les
1. On the main menu use the Right/Left arrows on the
Remote Control or on the unit to highlight the ‘Music’ or
‘Video’ folder and press Enter to select.
2. Highlight and select the music or
video le you want to play by pressing
the Up/Down arrows and press Enter
to select.
3. To fast forward or rewind, use the
keys on the Remote Control.

Changing the Slide Show Transition Effect
1. In the main menu or a le folder, press the SET UP key on
the remote control or hold down the ESC button on the unit
for 3 seconds to access the SET UP drop down menu.
2. On the drop down menu press the down arrow key to
highlight the ‘Photo’ option and press Enter.
3. Press the down arrow key to highlight the ‘Slide Effect’
option and press Enter
4. Press the Up/Down arrow to highlight the desired effect
and press the Enter key to select.

Changing the
Display Order of
the Images
The Digital Display
will show your images
in numerical and
alphabetical order,
according to their le
name.
To determine the order
of the les, simply
name the les ‘Image1’,
‘Image2’, etc on your PC
when copying them to a
Memory Device.
To display the images
in a random order:
1. In the main menu or a
le folder, press the SET
UP key on the remote
control or hold down the
ESC button on the unit
for 3 seconds to access
the SET UP drop down
menu.
2. On the drop down
menu press the down
arrow key to highlight
the ‘Photo’ option and
press Enter
3. Press the down arrow
key to highlight the
‘Slide Show Shufe’
option and press enter
4. Press the Up/Down
arrow to highlight the
desired ‘On’ or ‘Off’
option and press the
Enter key to select.

* Off = No effect, simply icks to the next image
* Fade = Image fades into the next
* Shutter = Uses a “blind” effect to the next image
* Cross Comb = Uses horizontal and vertical “comb” effect
* Mask = Scrambles the image and comes into focus
on the next image
* Brick = Removes and builds up the next image in
square “brick” sections
* Dissolve = The image “dissolves” into the
next image
* Bar = The screen slides horizontally and vertically
into the next image
* Random = The Digital Display selects a random
mixture of all the effects
Changing the Slide Show Transition Speed
1. In the main menu or a le folder, press the SET UP key on
the remote control or hold down the ESC button on the unit for
3 seconds to access the SET UP drop down menu.
2. On the drop down menu press the down arrow key to
highlight the ‘Photo’ option and press Enter.
3. Press the down arrow key to highlight the ‘Slide Show
Speed’ option and press Enter
4. Press the up/down arrow to highlight the desired speed,
‘Fast’, ‘Normal’, ‘Slow’ and press the Enter key to select.
Fast = Changes image every 5 seconds
Normal = Changes image every 15 seconds
Slow = Changes image every 60 seconds

Copying les from Memory
Card/USB to the On-board
Memory
1. On the main menu use the Right/Left
arrows on the Remote Control or on the
unit to highlight the desired folder ‘Photo’,
‘Music’, ‘Video’, or ‘File’ and press Enter
to select.
2. Use the Right/Left arrows on the
Remote Control or on the unit to highlight
the le you want to copy onto the On-board
memory.
2. Press the SETUP key on remote control
or hold down the ESC key on unit for 3
seconds for the SETUP drop down menu to
appear.
3. Using the Up/Down arrow keys, highlight
‘COPY File’ and press Enter
4. Highlight the ‘Copy One’ options and
press enter twice
5. The screen will prompt ‘Are you sure’,
use the arrow keys to select ‘Yes’ or ‘No’
and press Enter.
To copy all les from the Memory Card/USB
Flash Drive, select ‘Copy All’ at step 4.
File Management
Deleting Files
1. On the “Select Card” Menu (the very rst
screen) select the source of the le(s) you
want to delete (Memory Card/USB/On-Board
Memory.
2. On the main menu use the Right/Left
arrows on the Remote Control or on the
unit to highlight the desired folder ‘Photo’,
‘Music’, ‘Video’, or ‘File’ and press Enter to
select.
3. Use the Right/Left arrows on the Remote
Control or on the unit to highlight the le you
want to delete.
4. Press the SETUP key on remote control or
hold down the ESC key on unit for 3 seconds
for the SETUP drop down menu to appear.
5. Using the Up/Down arrow keys, highlight
‘Delete File’ and press Enter.
6. Highlight the ‘Delete One’ options and
press enter twice
7. The screen will prompt “Are you sure”, use
the arrow keys to select ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ and
press Enter.
To delete all les from the Memory Card/USB
Flash Drive, select ‘Delete All’ at step 4.

Displaying the Clock &
Calendar on Full Screen
1. Press CLOCK key on the Remote
Control to enter the CLOCK &
CALENDAR mode and see following
screen:

main menu.
Displaying the Time and
Date on the Display
To show the Date and/or/Time in the top
right hand corner of the Display:
1. In the main menu or a le folder,
press the SETUP key on remote control
or hold down the ESC key on unit for
3 seconds for the SETUP drop down
menu to appear
2. Using the up/down arrow keys,
highlight ‘System’ and press Enter
3. Using the up/down arrow keys,
highlight ‘Clock Mode’ and press enter
4. Using the Up/Down arrow keys,
highlight the desired ‘Off’,‘DD/MM/
YYYY’ or ‘HH:MM DD/MM’ option and
press the Enter key to select.

Auto Timer
Setting the
Timer for Slide
Shows
To set a
time for your
slideshow to start
automatically:
1. In the main
menu or a le
folder, press the
SETUP key on
remote control
or hold down the
ESC key on unit
for 3 seconds for
the SETUP drop
down menu to
appear.
2. Using the Up/
Down arrow keys,
highlight ‘System’
and press Enter
3. Using the up/
down arrow keys,
highlight ‘Clock’
and press Enter
4. Using the Up/
Down arrow keys,
highlight ‘Auto
Slide Show’ and
press Enter.
5. Use the Up
/Down arrow
keys to select the
start time for the
slideshow, and the
Left/Right arrow
keys to move
across to tick the
box
6. Select ‘Save’
and press Enter to
update
Setting the Timer for
Auto Power On/Off
Set the Digital Display to turn
on or turn off using the timer
function:
1. In the main menu or a le
folder, press the SETUP key
on remote control or hold
down the ESC key on unit
for 3 seconds for the SETUP
drop down menu to appear
2. Using the up/down arrow
keys, highlight ‘System’ and
press Enter
3. Using the Up/Down arrow
keys, highlight ‘Auto Power
On’ or ‘Auto Power Off’ and
press Enter
4. Use the Up/Down arrow
keys to set the desired time
to Power On/Off and the left
and right arrow keys to move
across to tick the box
5. Select ‘Save’ and press
Enter to update
6. Press the Power button
on the remote control to be
in Standby mode if you have
selected ‘Auto Power On’.
For your slideshow to start
automatically after ‘Auto
Power On’, please also
follow the instructions for
‘Setting the Timer for
Displays’ and set both
timers for the same time.
Changing the Time/Date
1. In the main menu or a le folder,
press the SETUP key on remote
control or hold down the ESC key on
unit for 3 seconds for the SETUP drop
down menu to appear
2. Using the Up/Down arrow keys,
highlight ‘System’ and press Enter
3. With ‘Set Clock’ highlighted, press
enter to show the current time and date
4. Use the Up/Down arrow keys to
change the time and date settings,
and the Left/Right arrow keys to move
across the screen.
5. Select ‘Save’ and press Enter to
update
