fuel tank area should be installed
from the underside of the vehicle,
to guard against the fuel tank being
punctured in the event of a collision.
This would mean NOT using Blind
Fasteners in this area.

Assembly - Fitting Van Racking into Vehicle

Remove the ply lining from the side of
the vehicle
Place the built unit(s) into position Mark Bracket locations and drill holes
into the double seam making sure when
drilling not to go through the outer skin
of the vehicle
Fix bracket to double seam using large
washers and Nylon nuts (rotate bracket
for shallow or deep tting)
Fit the ply lining against the side of
the vehicle and carefully measure the
bracket positions
Cut out holes in the ply lining so that
the brackets t through

Slide the racking unit(s) against the side
wall & x to the brackets (you may need
to drill suitable holes in the van racking
frame to match the two.
Ret the ply lining

When tting more than one unit in a run,
then connect the two frames through
redundant xing holes
Prior to drilling, so as not to cut or
puncture fuel tanks, fuel lines, brake
lines, electric wires, etc. Check behind
or underneath drilling mounting
locations. All oor mounting bolts near
the fuel tank area should be installed
from the underside of the vehicle, to
guard against the fuel tank being
punctured in the event of a collision.
This would mean NOT using Blind
Fasteners in this area!
If xing to the oor is also required mark
xing locations through the base of the
frames onto the oor off the vehicle
Remove the Racking unit(s) & carefully
measure the bracket positions
Ret & secure the Racking unit(s)
