Translation of original

This manual forms part of the equipment and must be kept on site.
Carefully read the manual prior to working on the unit.
It is supplemented by the installation and operating instructions for the heat pump.
1.1 Target group
The manual is intended for the operator and qualified personnel. It should be ob-
served by all personnel working with the unit.
Work on the unit must only be carried out by personnel who have the relevant train-
ing and instruction.
In accordance with EN 60335-1 the following requirements apply
This appliance can be used by children 8 years and above as well as by persons
with limited physical, sensory or mental capacities or lack of experience and know-
ledge, provided they are supervised or have been instructed regarding the safe use
of the appliance and understand the resulting danger. Children must not play with
the appliance. Cleaning and operator maintenance must not be carried out by chil-
dren without supervision.
1.2 Symbols
DANGER
Immediate danger with high risk.
Non observance can lead to serious injury or death.
WARNING
Danger with medium risk.
Non observance can lead to environmental damage,
serious injury or death.
CAUTION
Danger with low risk.
Non observance can cause damage to the equip-
ment and injury to personnel.

1.3 Guarantee and Liability
Guarantee and liability claims for personal and equipment damage are excluded, if
they can be attributed to one or more of the following causes:
non approved application,
non-observance of the manual,
operation with faulty safety equipment,
continual operation despite a fault,
improper installation, commissioning, operation and service,
repairs, which have been carried out incorrectly,
the use of non original Weishaupt parts,
force majeure,
the installation of additional components, which have not been tested with the
unit.

2 Safety
2.1 Designated application
The room device in conjunction with the Weishaupt heat pumpWWPLS and
WWP LB is suitable for the room management of a heating circuit.
Up to 3room devices can be used. Each of these 3room devices can be assigned
to a heating circuit.
The device should only be used indoors.
The installation location must comply with local regulations and must be frost-proof.
Improper use could:
endanger the health and safety of the user or third parties,
cause damage to the unit or other material assets.
2.2 Safety measures
Safety relevant fault conditions must be eliminated immediately.
2.3 Disposal
Dispose of all materials and components in a safe and environmentally friendly way
at an authorised location. Observe local regulations.

DANGER
Risk of electric shock
Working on the device when voltage is applied can lead to electric shock.
Isolate the device from the power supply prior to starting any work.
Safeguard against accidental restart.
CAUTION
Damage to the PCB due to electrostatic discharge (ESD)
PCB can be damaged by contact.
Do not touch the PCB and its components.
The electrical connection must only be carried out by qualified electricians. Ob-
serve local regulations.
Secure wall bracket1 to the wall using the screws supplied.
Feed the wires2 through and connect the plug to the wiring diagram.

Faults
(1 If there is a fault in the system, a flashing warning symbol appears in the dis-
play.
Notify your heating contractor or Weishaupt Customer Service.
5.2.1 Display room humidity
Current room humidity at the room device.
Press dial knob for approx. 3 seconds.
Current humidity is displayed for approx.3seconds.
Example:
Room humidity 53%
The optimum room humidity in living areas is 40 … 60 %.

5.3 ManualOperation
Permanent temperature level according to the operating mode set, independent of
the time program.
The following operating modes are possible:
Summer operation
Setback operation
Normal operation
Comfort mode
Press Manual operation .
Symbols for the operating modes are displayed flashing.
Select the desired operating mode using the knob.
Room setpoint temperature of the operating mode is displayed (except in sum-
mer operation).
Confirm operating mode using the dial knob.
The operating mode selected is active after approx. 3 seconds.
Example: Activate permanent setback operation.
5.4 Absence
The heating mode can be temporarily interrupted (maximum 12hours). During the
time set, setback operation is activated.
Press Absence .
The hour display is displayed flashing.
Set and confirm hours required using the dial knob.
After approx. 3 seconds, setback operation is active for the time set.
Example: Activate absence (setback operation) for 8 hours.
Once the time set has elapsed, the operating mode previously set is active again.
Display the time remaining
Press Absence .
The time remaining is displayed flashing.
The standard display re-appears after approx. 30seconds.

5.5 Party mode
The heating mode can be temporarily extended (maximal 12hours). During the time
set, comfort mode is activated.
Press Party mode .
The hour display is displayed flashing.
Set and confirm hours required using the dial knob.
After approx. 3 seconds, comfort mode is active for the time set.
Example: Activate party mode (comfort mode) for 4 hours.
Once the time set has elapsed, the operating mode previously set is active again.
Display the time remaining
Press Party mode .
The time remaining is displayed flashing.
The standard display re-appears after approx. 30seconds.
5.6 Automatic operation
Temperature level according to predetermined time program.
The time programs can be interrogated and set using the display and operating unit
of the heat exchanger.
Press Automatic operation .
Automatic operation is activate after approx. 3 seconds.

5.7 Set room setpoint temperature
Room setpoint temperature can be changed in each operating mode (except in
summer operation).
Press dial knob.
Display changes to the the setting of the room setpoint temperature.
The room setpoint temperature set is displayed flashing.
Set and confirm the required room temperature using the dial knob.
Room setpoint temperature has been changed.
Example: Increase room setpoint temperature in normal operation from 21.0 °C to
22.0 °C.
Following a change, the room setpoint temperature at the respective temperature
level is permanently changed.

5.8.1 Check assignment
The heating circuit to which the room device is assigned can be displayed with
parameter 0F .
Press Manual operation and Automatic operation simultaneously for ap-
prox.2seconds.
The service level is activated.
Press dial knob.
The address of the heating circuit accessed is displayed.
The assignment can be changed using the display and operating unit of the heat
exchanger.
The standard display re-appears after approx. 30seconds.
5.8.2 Adjusting the room temperature
If no optimal placement of the room device is possible or a measurement error is to
be compensated, the measured room temperature can be adjusted.
Setting range: -5.0 ... 5.0 K
Factory setting: 0.0
Press Manual operation and Automatic operation simultaneously for ap-
prox.2seconds.
The service level is activated.
Turn dial knob until parameter 1F is displayed.
Press dial knob.
Current room senor adjustment is displayed flashing.
Set and confirm adjustment required using the dial knob.
The value has been saved.
The standard display re-appears after approx. 30seconds.

5.8.3 Set brightness in setting mode
Adjust the brightness of the display in setting mode.
Setting range: 0 ... 30
Factory setting: 30
Press Manual operation and Automatic operation simultaneously for ap-
prox.2seconds.
The service level is activated.
Turn dial knob until parameter 2F is displayed.
Press dial knob.
Current value of brightness is displayed flashing.
Set and confirm value required using the dial knob.
The value has been saved.
The standard display re-appears after approx. 30seconds.
5.8.4 Set brightness in standby mode
Adjust the brightness of the display in standby mode.
Setting range: 0 ... 30
Factory setting: 0
Press Manual operation and Automatic operation simultaneously for ap-
prox.2seconds.
The service level is activated.
Turn dial knob until parameter 3F is displayed.
Press dial knob.
Current value of brightness is displayed flashing.
Set and confirm value required using the dial knob.
The value has been saved.

Observe installation and operating manual of heat pump.
The room device must be assigned to a heating circuit.
If the room device has already been assigned to a heating circuit, the standard dis-
play appears.
Assign room device
Select and confirm heating circuit required using the dial knob.
Standard display appears.
Example: room device is assigned to heating circuit1.

If the room device con not find the heating circuit assigned, a fault message ap-
pears indicating the heating circuit.

Select expert level.
Select the relevant heating circuit.
Select Settings.
Select Function .
Activate heating circuit.
The heating circuit is activated, the fault message disappears.

Water heaters/Energy storage
The diverse program of potable water and
energy storage for various heat sources
includes storage volumes of 70 to 3,000 litres.
In order to minimize storage losses, potable
water cylinders from 140 to 500 litres are
available with highly efficient insulation using
vacuum insulation panels.
Solar systems
The stylish flat-plate collectors are the ideal
complement for any Weishaupt heating
system. They are suitable for solar water
heating and for combined heating support.
