About these instructions:
Warning and Important Safety Instructions may not cover all possible conditions and situations that may
occur. Common sense, caution, and care must be exercised when installing, maintaining or operating a
microwave. Always contact dealer, distributor, service agent or manufacturer about any issues or
conditions you may not comprehend.
CAUTION!
To avoid personal injury or property damage, observe the following:
1. Never deep fat fry in microwave oven. Fat can overheat and be hazardous to handle.
2. When cooking popcorn, use only in packages that are specifically designed and labeled for
microwave use. Do not continue to heat after popping has stopped, this can cause popcorn to
scorch or burn. Do not leave unattended. Popping time varies depending on microwave wattage.
3. If cooking potatoes, tomatoes, or similar foods in unit, pierce skin so that the steam can escape.
4. Do not cook or reheat eggs in shell or with unbroken yolk in unit. Pressure may build and erupt.
Pierce yolk with fork before cooking.
5. Never operate unit when it is empty.
6. Never use metal utensils in unit.
7. Never use aluminum foil, plastic, paper, or other combustible materials that are not intended for
cooking.
8. Do not use paper towels that contain nylon or other synthetic fibers. Heated synthetics could melt
and cause paper to ignite.
9. Do not heat sealed containers or plastic bags. Food or liquid could expand rapidly and cause
container or bag to break. Pierce or open container or bag before cooking.
10. Do not use regular thermometers in unit. Most cooking thermometers contain mercury and may
cause an electrical arc, malfunction, or damage to unit.
11. If you have a pacemaker, consult physician or pacemaker manufacturer to avoid malfunction and
be aware of effects of microwave energy on pacemaker.
GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS & ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS
WARNING!
Improper use of grounding can result in electric shock. To avoid risk of electrical shock or death, this unit
MUST be grounded and plug must not be altered.
Microwave oven must be grounded.
This unit is equipped with a cord containing a grounding wire with a grounding plug. The plug must be
inserted in an outlet that is properly installed and grounded. See Installation Instructions.
Consult a qualified electrician if you need assistance with grounding instructions or if you are unsure
whether unit is properly grounded.
WARNING!
Do not use an adaptor or extension.
If the unit power cord is too short, consult a qualified electrician to install a three-slot receptacle. This unit
should be plugged into a separate 60 hertz circuit with the electrical rating as shown in specifications
chart. If unit shares a circuit with other equipment, voltage may drop, thus requiring an increase in
cooking times, and blown fuses. Microwave unit operates on standard household current 120V.

•The marked electrical rating cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the
appliance.

PRECAUTIONS TO AVOID POSSIBLE EXPOSURE TO EXCESSIVE MICROWAVE ENERGY
•Do not attempt to operate unit with door open. This can cause exposure to harmful microwave
energy. Do not bypass or tamper with safety interlock switches.
•Do not operate unit if damaged. It is especially important that oven door close properly and door
is not bent, does not contain broken or loose hinges or latches, and there is no damage to door
seals and sealing surfaces.
•Do not place any object between front of unit and door or allow soil or cleaning residue to
accumulate on sealing surfaces.
•Do not use any cleaning materials on gasket of oven door. This can cause damage.
Note: Oven should only be adjusted or repaired by qualified service personnel.
WARNING!
Liquids such as water, coffee, or tea can overheat beyond the boiling point and not appear to be boiling.
This can result in extremely hot liquids suddenly boiling over when a spoon or other utensil is put into the
liquid. To reduce injury risk:
•Do not overheat liquid.
•Do not use straight edged containers with narrow necks.
•Stir liquid before and halfway through heating time. Use extreme care when inserting utensils into
container.
•After heating, allow container to stand inside unit before removal.

1. This appliance must be grounded. Connect only to properly grounded outlet. See GROUNDING
INSTRUCTIONS, page 1.
2. Install or locate this unit only in accordance with the installation instructions in this manual.
3. Do not cover or block any vents or openings on the unit.
4. Use this unit only for its intended usage stated in this manual. This type of oven is specifically
designed to heat, cook, or dry food. It is not meant for commercial, industrial or laboratory use. Do
not use corrosive chemicals or vapors in this unit.
5. As with any appliance, close supervision is necessary when children are present or if unit is used
by children or disabled persons.
6. Do not operate this unit if cord or plug is damaged or not working properly, or if unit has been
damaged or dropped.
7. Do not immerse cord or plug in water.
8. Keep cord away from heated surfaces.
9. Do not let cord hang over edge of counter or table.
10. This unit, including power cord, should be serviced only by qualified service personnel. Contact an
authorized service provider for examination, repair, or adjustment.
11. Do not store this unit outdoors. Do not use appliance near water, such as near kitchen sink, in
wet basement or near swimming pool or similar locations.

13. To avoid risk of fire inside unit, injury, or exposure to excessive microwave energy:
a. Do not overcook food. Carefully monitor oven if plastic, paper, or other combustible
materials are placed inside unit.
b. Remove all wire twist-ties from items before placing in unit.
c. If materials inside ignite, keep oven door closed, turn off and disconnect power cord, or
shut power off at fuse or circuit breaker.
d. Do not use the cavity of this unit for storage. Do not leave paper products, cooking
utensils or food inside when not in use.
14. Products such as whole eggs, and sealed containers, such as jars, should not be heated in this
oven, as they can explode.
15. Liquids, such as water, coffee, or tea can overheat beyond the boiling point and not appear to be
boiling. This can result in extremely hot liquids suddenly boiling over when a spoon or other
utensil is putinto the liquid.
16. Do not heat baby bottles in unit.
17. Keep baby food jars open when heating and stir or shake contents before consuming, to avoid
burns.
18. Do not use this unit for commercial purposes. This unit is intended for household use only.

The glass tray should never be restricted.
b. Both glass tray and turntable ring assembly
must always be used during cooking.

CLOCK SETTING
(1) Press “CLOCK”, “00
(2) Press the number pads and enter the current time. Example, time is 12:10,
press “1,2,1,0” consecutively.
(3) Press “CLOCK” to finish setting clock. “:” will flash and the clock illuminates.
(4) If numbers input are not within the range of 1:00 – 12:59, the setting will be invalid.
Note:
1 minute, the oven will revert back to the former setting automatically.
(2) If the clock needs to be reset, repeat steps 1– 3.
KITCHEN TIMER
(1) Press “KITCHEN TIMER”, LED will display “00:00”, the first hour figure will flash.
(2) Use the number pads to enter desired timer time. (Maximum cooking time is
99 minutes and 99 seconds.)
(3) Press “START/+30SEC.” to confirm setting.
(4) When the time has ended, the buzzer will “beep” 5 times.
If the clock is set, the LED will revert back to display the current time.
(5) Press “STOP/CANCEL” once to cancel the kitchen timer function.

MICROWAVE COOKING
(1) Press “TIME COOK” once, LED will display “00 ”
(2) Press number pads to input the cooking time; maximum cooking time is 99 minutes and 99 seconds.
(3) Press “POWER” once, LED will display “PL10”. The default power is 100% power. Press number
pads to select desired power level.
(4) Press “START/+30SEC.” to start cooking.
Example:
a. Press “1”, “5”, “0”, “0” consecutively.
b. Press “POWER” once, press “5” to select 50% power level.
c. Press “START/+30SEC.” to start cooking.
Note:
1) While setting, if the “STOP/CANCEL” button is pressed or if there is no operation within 1 minute,
the oven will revert back to the former setting automatically.
2) If “PL0” is selected, the oven will work with fan only and no microwave power.
3) During cooking, “POWER” can be pressed to change the power level. After pressing “POWER”, the
current power level displays for 3 seconds, press the number pads to change the power level. The oven
will cook at the selected power level for the remaining time.
SPEEDY COOKING
(1) Cooking at 100% power level can be started by selecting a cooking time from 1 to 6 minutes by
pressing number pads 1 to 6. Press “START/+30SEC.” to increase the cooking time; maximum cooking
time is 99 minutes and 99 seconds.
(2) Cooking at 100% power level with 30 seconds cooking time can be started by pressing
“START/+30SEC.” Each press on the button increases the cooking time by 30 seconds. Maximum
cooking time is 99 minutes and 99 seconds.
Note: During microwave cooking and timed defrost, time can be added by pressing “START/+30SEC.”
button.

To cook food with 50% power for 15 minutes. Press “TIME COOK” once. “00:00” displays.

OPERATION
WEIGHT DEFROST FUNCTION
(1) Press “WEIGHT DEFROST”, LED will display “dEF1”.
(2) Press number pads to input weight to be defrosted.
Input the weight range between 4 – 100 ounces.
(If the weight input is not within 4 – 100, the input will not be valid.)
(3) Press “START/+30SEC.” to start defrosting and the remaining defrosting time will be displayed.
TIME DEFROST FUNCTION
(1) Press “TIME DEFROST”, LED will display “dEF2”.
(2) Press number pads to input defrosting time. The valid time range is 0:01 – 99:99.
(3) The default power level is 3. If you want to change the power level, press “POWER” once, the LED will
display “PL3”, press the number of the power level you desire.
(4) Press “START/+30SEC.” to start defrosting. The remaining defrosting time will be displayed.
AUTO MENU OPERATION
(1) Press “POPCORN” repeatedly until the number you desire appears in the display,
“1.75”, “3.0”, 3.5” oz. will display consecutively.
Example: press “POPCORN” once, “1.75” appears.
(2) Press “START/+30SEC.” to cook; buzzer “beeps” once. When done cooking, buzzer “beeps” five
times and cooking ends.
(1) Press “POTATO” repeatedly until the number you desire appears in display, “1”, “2”, “3” will display
consecutively.
