Safety is a combination of common sense, staying alert and knowing how your item works.
SAVE THESE SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS.
WARNING: To avoid mistakes and serious injury, read and understand this entire instruction manual.
Learn the tool’s applications, limitations, and possible hazards. These safety rules cannot address every
possible scenario you may encounter, so please use common sense and caution when using the tool.
WORK AREA SAFETY
1. Keep your work area clean, uncluttered, and well lit. Cluttered areas invite injuries and accidents. Keep the
ground clear of tripping hazards. Do not work on floor surfaces that are slippery with sawdust or wax.
2. Observe work area conditions. Keep bystanders at a safe distance from the work area. Never allow children or
pets near the tool.
2. Avoid dangerous conditions. DO NOT use power tools in wet or damp areas or expose them to rain. DO
NOT use power tools in the presence of flammable liquids or gases.
PERSONAL SAFETY
1. ANSI Z87.1-approved safety glasses should be worn by the operator and any assistants when using a miter saw.
Use ear protection such as plugs or muffs during extended periods of operation. Wear additional safety gear as
required by local, state and federal regulations.
2. Dress for safety. Do not wear loose clothing, gloves, neckties, or jewelry (rings, watches, etc.) and tie back long
hair to prevent anything from getting caught in the power tool.
3. Stay alert - watch what you’re doing and use common sense when using the tool. Do not use while you are tired
or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication that may affect your ability to properly use the tool. A mo-
ment of inattention may result in serious personal injury.
4. Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times.
MITER SAW STAND USE & CARE
1. For maximum stability, use the miter saw stand only on a flat, level surface.
2. Use the right tool for the job. Do not modify or use the tool to do a job for which it was not designed. Unauthor-
ized modification may damage the tool and/or cause personal injuries.
3. Be careful when adjusting the stand. Keep fingers and hands clear to avoid getting them trapped.
4. Assemble and use the miter saw stand indoors only. Do not expose power tools to rain or wet conditions. Wa-
ter entering the electrical system will increase the risk of electric shock.
5. Do not exceed the weight capacity of the miter saw stand. The main frame can support 330 pounds of total
weight (saw + material). Do not exceed this weight for any reason. Be aware of dynamic loading, as sudden move-
ment may briefly create excess load, causing product to fail.
IMPORTANT SAFETY RULES

4
(Continued)
6. Do not overload the side extension arms.
7. Do not step, climb or sit on the miter saw stand.
8. Before operation, ensure that the locking pins on each leg are in the locked position and the mounting clamps
are securely locked in place.
9. Make sure the miter saw is as centered as possible to maintain the stand’s balance. Unbalanced stands can tip
during operation and cause injuries.
10. Before plugging in the power for the miter saw, ensure that the saw is securely fastened to the stand to prevent
unwanted movement of the saw.
11. Always check for damaged or worn out parts before using the miter saw stand. Check for alignment of moving
parts, jamming, breakage, improper mounting, or any other conditions that may affect the tool’s operation. Any
part that is damaged should be properly repaired or replaced before use. Do not use if the stand becomes dam-
aged in any way.
12. Maintain tools properly. Always keep tools clean and in good working order. Store the miter saw stand in a
dry, secure place out of the reach of children. Inspect the tool for good working condition prior to storage and
before re-use.
These safety instructions can’t possibly warn of every scenario that may arise with this tool,
so always make sure to stay alert and use common sense during operation.
IMPORTANT SAFETY RULES

5
WARNING: This tool is for indoor use only. Do not expose to rain or use in damp locations.
GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS
In the event of a malfunction or breakdown, grounding provides the path of
least resistance for an electric current and reduces the risk of electric shock.
This tool is equipped with an electric cord that has an equipment grounding
conductor and a grounding plug. The plug MUST be plugged into a matching
outlet that is properly installed and grounded in accordance with ALL local
codes and ordinances.
Do not modify the plug provided. If it will not fit the outlet, have the proper
outlet installed by a licensed electrician.
IMPROPER CONNECTION of the equipment grounding conductor can result in electric shock. The conduc-
tor with the green insulation (with or without yellow stripes) is the equipment grounding conductor. If repair or
replacement of the electric cord or plug is necessary, do not connect the equipment grounding conductor to a live
terminal.
In all cases, make certain the outlet in question is properly grounded. If you are not sure, have a licensed electri-
cian check the outlet.
GUIDELINES FOR USING EXTENSION CORDS
When using an extension cord, be sure to use one heavy enough to carry the current your product will draw. An
undersized cord will cause a drop in line voltage resulting in loss of power and overheating. The table below shows
the correct size to be used according to cord length and nameplate ampere rating. When in doubt, use a heavier
cord. The smaller the gauge number, the heavier the cord.
Make sure your extension cord is properly wired and in good condition. Always replace a damaged extension
cord or have it repaired by a qualified person before using it. Protect your extension cords from sharp objects,
excessive heat and damp/wet areas.
USE ONLY THREE-WIRE EXTENSION CORDS that have three-pronged plugs and outlets that accept the
tool’s plug as shown in Fig. A. Repair or replace a damaged or worn cord immediately.
Use a separate electrical circuit for your tools. This circuit must not be less than a #12 wire and should be protect-
ed with a 15 A time-delayed fuse. Before connecting the motor to the power line, make sure the switch is in the
OFF position and the electric current is rated the same as the current stamped on the motor nameplate. Running
at a lower voltage will damage the motor.

ASSEMBLY & ADJUSTMENTS
UNFOLDING THE LEGS (Fig. 1)
1. Place the miter saw stand on a flat surface with the
folded legs facing up.
2. Press down the release lever (Fig. 1 - 1) to disengage
the locking pin and rotate the leg up until the locking pin
clicks into the open position.
3. Deploy all four legs and lock them into place.
4. Flip the stand over to the upright position and check
if the stand is stable on the ground.
5. If adjustment is needed, turn the adjustment nut (Fig.
1 - 2) to set the height of the leg until the stand is stable.
INSTALLING THE WHEELS (Fig. 2)
1. Slide the wheels onto the wheel axle. Secure each
wheel with a retaining ring that goes in the groove around
the wheel axle. You may need to use a rubber mallet to
tap the ring into place.
2. Repeat for the other wheel.
7
INSTALLING THE EXTENSION BAR
LOCK KNOBS & ROLLERS (Fig. 3)
1. With the extension arms inserted into the main
frame, install the extension arm lock knobs (Fig. 3 - 1),
two on each end of the frame. Slide the extension arms
to a suitable distance to provide maximum support for
your workpiece, and lock the arms in position by tight-
ening the lock knobs.
2. Insert the rollers into the extension brackets and se-
cure each roller with a roller lock knob (Fig. 3 - 2).
3. The roller acts as both a roller support and a stop
face for your workpiece. To set up the rollers:
For Normal Cutting Operations
The top of the rollers should be level with the surface

of the miter saw’s table. This will ensure a level support for your workpiece.
For Repetitive Cutting Operations
Turn the roller so the stop face side (Fig. 3 - 3) faces the miter saw. Adjust the height of the roller so that the stop
face is level with the surface of the miter saw’s table. Adjust the relevant extension arm until the stop face is at the
required stopping distance.

ASSEMBLY
CHECKING AND ADJUSTING THE
CLAMPING PRESSURE (Fig. 6)
The clamping pressure of each saw mounting bracket
should be checked before it is attached to a miter saw.
To Check The Clamping Pressure:
When fitted across the two main frames with the lock-
ing handle in the down (locked) position, the bracket
should be firm and exhibit no signs of movement.
Avoid using excessive force to deploy the locking lever
to the down position. Gently pressing the lever down-
wards with the palm of your hand should be all the
force needed to operate the locking lever.
To Adjust The Clamping Pressure:
1. Turn the clamp upside down.
2. Loosen the lock nut (Fig. 6 - 1).
3. Turn the adjustment screw (Fig. 6 - 2) clockwise to
increase the clamping pressure. Turn the screw coun-
terclockwise to decrease the clamping pressure.
4. Tighten the lock nut when the clamping pressure is
at the satisfactory level. Adjust for both saw mounting
brackets.

MOUNTING THE MITER SAW
9
MOUNTING A MITER SAW TO THE STAND
The miter saw stand should fit most miter saws. Make sure the miter saw is unplugged from the power supply before
attempting to mount it onto the stand. Refer to the next section on Page 10 for mounting uncommon miter saws.
1. Remove and safely store the four plastic feet
from underneath the base of the miter saw
(Fig. 7). If the miter saw has a stability block
underneath the positive stop locking lever, re-
move and safely store it as well.
2. Remove the mounting brackets from the
stand. Place the miter saw onto the saw mount-
ing brackets, making sure the front of the ma-
chine faces the locking handles.
3. Attach the miter saw to the mounting brack- Fig. 7

ets using four sets of the following combination from your mounting hardware:
1) M6 Carriage Bolts (Short) or M6 Carriage Bolts (Long), depending on the thickness of your miter saw’s base.
2) M6 Washers (Small) or M6 Washers (Large)
3) M6 Spring Washers
4) M6 Hex Nuts, or M6 Wing Nuts
4. Finger tighten the nuts and make sure the mi-
ter saw is securely mounted onto the mounting
brackets (Fig. 8).
NOTE: Only tighten lock nuts and screws to
be finger tight at this stage, in case adjustments
are needed after attaching the miter saw.
5. Hook the front of the brackets over the front
of the miter stand’s main frame (Fig. 9).
6. Push the back of the brackets down to engage
Fig. 11
them onto the back frame (Fig. 10).
7. Lock the brackets into place by gently pressing down the locking handles (Fig.
11).
8. To ensure the stability of the miter saw stand and the mounted machine during
cutting operations, adjust the position of the miter saw so the fence of the miter
saw is aligned with the center of the rear crossbar of the stand.
9. When the miter saw is correctly positioned on the stand, securely tighten the
four mounting nuts.

MOUNTING UNUSUAL MITER SAWS
If your miter saw is strange or unusual in terms of either its mounting holes or its social skills, don’t be alarmed.
Every miter saw is special in its own unique way. If you have one of these special miter saws, an adaptor plate may
be necessary. The adaptor should be a square or rectangular worktop (such as a piece of plywood) that fits the
footprint and mounting hole configuration of your miter saw. We recommend using a piece of plywood at least
one inch thick.
1. Bolt the adaptor plate securely to the two saw mounting brackets.
2. Attach the adaptor plate onto the miter saw stand using the saw mounting brackets and lock it in place.
3. Position the miter saw above the adaptor plate. Ensure that the bulk and weight of the miter saw is centrally lo-
cated over the two crossbars. The saw fence should align as closely as possible with the center line of the miter saw
stand’s rear crossbar. Bolt the miter saw securely to the adaptor plate with appropriate screws and fixings.
4. Check the stability of the machine and installation before operation.
NOTE: Consult the manufacturer of the saw for any special adjustments, requirements or fixings needed to
permanently mount your saw to a worktop. Take precaution over a full range of operating conditions. Don’t be
judgmental towards your saw for being different than the other saws on the market. You will hurt its feelings.
MOUNTING THE MITER SAW
10
1. Before each use, inspect the general condition of the miter saw stand and power tool. Check for:
• Loose hardware,
• Misalignment or binding of moving parts,
• Damaged cord/electrical wiring,
• Cracked or broken parts, and
• Any other condition that may affect its safe operation.
2. After every use, wipe the external surfaces with a clean cloth. Do not let water enter the power outlet or electrical
system on the miter saw stand.
3. Store the tool indoors in a safe, dry area away from children. Inspect the tool for good working condition prior
to storage and before re-use.
