Battery Installation
1. To open, when looking at the back, twist the back cover
counter-clockwise and remove.
2. Insert 4 AA batteries (follow the installation guide in the battery compartment).
Ensure the batteries are inserted so that the flat ends are making contact
with the springs.
3. To close, replace the cover and turn clockwise.
Operation
Pull the string to turn on. Pull the string again to turn the light off.
Light Installation
Determine mounting location with adequate space for the string to hang.
You can shorten the string by pushing the tab towards the light to expose the
end of the string. Cut to your desired length, and tie a double stopper knot to
secure the tab.

Mounting with screws
1. Remove the back of the light by twisting counter clockwise.
2. Use the two holes in the back as a guide to drill pilot holes.
3. Secure the back to your mounting surface with included screws –
do not overtighten.
Warning
To reduce the risk of electrical shock, do not put the unit in water or other liquid. To clean, use a soft dry cloth.
Do not place or store pull-string light where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink.
Battery Precautions
1. Use only the size and type of batteries specified.
2. Always purchase the correct size and grade of battery most suitable for the intended use.
3. Do not mix alkaline, standard (Carbon-Zinc), or rechargeable (Nickel Cadmium) batteries.
4. Replace all batteries of a set at the same time. Do not mix old and new batteries.
5. Do not dispose of batteries in fire.
6. Remove batteries if consumed or if product is to be left unused for an extended period of time.
7. Follow instructions for recycling for the batteries you use. (Lithium-ion batteries must be disposed
of at a household hazardous waste collection point (check with your local landfill) or
battery recycling drop off location, NOT placed in the trash.)
