1 PressCH.LIST to open your digital channel list.
2 Pressthe buttontomovethecursortoFavourites at the bottom of the
screen and press OK.
3 Using the and buttons to scroll through your channel list. When a
channelyouwanttoselectasafavouriteishighlighted,pressOK.
Asmileyfaceiconwillappearnexttothechannelname.Youcanrepeatthis
process as many times as you like adding as many channels as you want to
yourFavouriteslist.
VIEWIng YOu CHAnnELs LIst In FAVOuRItE MODE
1 PressDTV MENU and press the button until Settings is highlighted,
then press OK.
2 From the Settings menu, highlight Configuration and press OK to open the
Configuration page.
3 From the Configuration menu, scroll to Favourite mode and use the and
buttons to change to List1,List2,List3,List4,List5 or Off.
4 PressDTV MENU to exit.
5 Yourfavouritechannelswillnowappearatthetopofyourchannellist,andbe
shownrstwheneveryouuse CH+/CH- to change channel.

Digitaltextvariesdependingonwhatchannelyouareviewingwhenyouaccess
it.Somechannelsofferspecialteletextserviceswithextrachannelsand
interactiveservices.Somechannelsdonothaveanyteletextpages.
To access digital text, press the button. Use the and buttons to scroll
through the bookmarked pages and press OKtoselectone.Alternatively,youcan
use the colour buttons to browse by sections.
DIsPLAYIng suBtItLEs
1 PressDTV MENU and press the and buttons until Settings is
highlighted, then press OK.
2 From the Settings menu, highlight Configuration and press OK to open the
Configuration page.
3 From the Configuration menu, scroll to Subtitle and use the and buttons
to change to On.
4 PressDTV MENU to exit.
5 Subtitleswillnowappearonallchannelstheyareavailablefor.
6 Toswitchthemoff,youhavetore-accesstheConfiguration menu and
select Off.
NOTE:Youcan’tusedigitalteletextserviceswhilesubtitlesareswitchedon.
Ifyoutry,areminderwillaskyouifyou’dliketoswitchthesubtitlesoffsoyou
can access teletext.
CHAngIng tHE LAnguAgE
1 PressDTV MENU, then press the and buttons until Settings is
highlighted.PressOK.
2 From the Settings menu, highlight Language and press OK to open the
Language page.
3 FromhereyoucanchoosethelanguageusedfortheSystemmenus
aswellasthepreferredlanguagefortheAudioandSubtitlesofeach
programme.Ifthepreferredlanguageisunavailable,yourTVwilldefault
toEnglish.
4 The Current option allows you to change the subtitle and audio language of
justthechannelyouarecurrentlywatching.Onlytheavailablelanguages
will be displayed.

1 SwitchtoanaloguemodebypressingtheDTV/TV button and then press the
CH.LIST button. The channel list will open.
2 Youcanscrollthroughthelistusingthe and buttons. The channel will
change as you do this.
3 PressCH.LIST to exit.
CHAngE tHE ORDER OF YOuR CHAnnEL LIst
1 PressCH.LIST to open the channel list and scroll to the channel you want
tomove.
2 Press to select the channel and use the and buttonstomovetothe
positionyouwanttoplacethechannelin.Forexample,ITV1mayhavetuned
tobuttonnumber4andyoumaywishittobemovedtobuttonnumber3.
3 Whenyouhavehighlightedthenewrequiredpositionofthechannel,press
the yellow button, then press the and buttons to select the new
position,thenpresstheredbutton.Thechannelwillautomaticallybemoved
to its new position.
4 PressCH.LIST to exit.
REnAMIng A CHAnnEL In YOuR CHAnnEL LIst
1 PressCH.LIST and scroll to the channel you want to rename using the
and buttons .
2 Presstheredbuttonandthechannelnamewillbecomeeditable.
3 Movethecursorthroughthecharactersoftheexistingnameusingthe
and buttons. Use the and buttons to change the letter or number.
4 PresstheredbuttonagaintostoreyourchangesandpressCH.LIST to exit.

DELEtIng A CHAnnEL FROM YOuR CHAnnEL LIst
1 PressCH.LIST and scroll to the channel you want to delete using the
and buttons .
2 Pressthebluebuttontoaccessthedeletefunctionfollowedbytheredbutton
toconrm.Ifyoudeleteachannel,itwilldisappearfromthechannellistand
youwillhavetore-tunetheTVtoretrieveit.
3 PressCH.LIST to exit.
NOTE:YoucannetuneyourchannelsbyselectingtheFine Tune option from
the Tuning menu. Use the and buttons in the same way as you do when
manually tuning.

Teletextvairesdependingonwhatchannelyouareviewingwhenyouaccessit.
To access Teletext, press the button. Use the colour buttons to browse by
sectionsorusethenumberbuttonstoinputathree-digitpagenumberandgo
directly to it.
Otherfunctionsfortheteletextmodeareasfollows:
Mix mode-PressthisbuttontosuperimposetheteletextscreenovertheTV
picture.Pressasecondtimetoreturntothenormaltextmode.
INDEX-Pressthisbuttontogostraighttotheindexpageofteletext.
Cancel -PressthisbuttontoreturntotheTVpicturewhileteletextsearches
foryourrequestedpage.Pressitagaintorestoreteletext.
Language change-Pressthisbuttontochangetheteletextcharacterfrom
western to eastern.
Hold-Pressthisbuttontopauseonthecurrentlydisplayedpageandstop
teletext from automatically updating or scrolling.
Size -Pressthisbuttonrepeatedlytocyclethroughthescreensizeoptions
for teletext. Choose from full screen, top half or bottom half.

3 The language of the menu will change as you scroll through. When you get to
your preferred language, press TV MENU to apply and exit the menu.

1 PressTV MENUtoopenthemainmenu,therstpageofwhichisthepicture
settings page.
2 Use the and buttons to scroll through the options. They are:
VIDEO MODE-ChooseoneofthepresetpicturelevelsfromSTANDARD,
SOFT, PERSONAL or BRIGHT.
CONTRAST,BRIGHTNESS,COLOURANDSHARPNESS -Usethe and
buttonstoselectalevelbetween0and100.Thepicturewilladjustasyou
changethelevel.
COLOUR TEMPERATURE-Usingthe and buttons, choose a hue from
WARMER, WARM, NORMAL, COOL and COOLER.
ZOOM-Fromhereyoucanchangethepictureratio.ChoosefromFULL, 4:3,
ZOOM1, ZOOM2, FILM and PANORAMAtosuittheprogrammeorlmyou
are watching.
3 PressTV MENU to apply your amended settings and exit the menu.

1 PressTV MENUtoopenthemainmenu,therstpageofwhichisthepicture
settings page.
2 Pressthe button to select the audio settings menu.
3 Use the and buttons to scroll through the options. They are:
AUDIO MODE-ChooseoneofthepresetaudiomodesfromPERSONAL,
MUSIC, STANDARD and NEWS.
BALANCE-Usethe and buttonstoselectalevelbetween0and100.
Theaudiowilladjustasyouchangethelevel.
AUTO VOLUME-Usethe and buttons to select ON or OFF.
EQUALISER–Pressthe button to enter the Equalisermenu.Adjustthe
levelsusingthe and buttons.
SURROUND – Use the and buttons to select ON or OFFifyouhave
attached a surround sound system.

sEttIng A sLEEP tIMER
The sleep timer allows your to set you TV to switch off automatically at a
predenedtime.
1 PressTV MENU and use the and buttons to select the Timer menu.
2 Pressthe and buttons so Sleep Timer is highlighted and press the
buttonrepeatedlytocyclethroughtheavailabletimes(theoptionsare15,
30, 45, 60, 90, 120, 180, 240 and Off).
3 PressTV MENU twice to apply the sleep timer and exit the menu.
4 When the set time has expired the TV will automatically turn off.
sEttIng tHE CLOCK
1 PressTV MENU and use the button to select the Timer menu.
2 Pressthe button so Clock is highlighted and press the button so that
the time is highlighted.
3 Use the and buttonstomovebetweenhoursandminutes,andusethe
and buttons to adjust the time accordingly.
4 Pressthe button until Clockishighlightedtosavethetime.
5 PressTV MENU to exit.
NOTE:WhenyouhavesetthetimeyoucanalsosetaRemind Time and an Off
Time(byinputtingatimeinthesamewayasyoudidtosettheclock).
ADjustIng FunCtIOn sEttIngs
1 PressTV MENU and press and to select the Function menu.
2 Scrollthroughtheoptionsusingthe and buttons. They are:
LANGUAGE-Changethelanguageusedbythemenus.
BLUE SCREEN-Usingthe and buttons choose either On or Off.
OSD SETTING-Pressthe button to access the OSD Settings menu. Using
the and buttons you can set the duration between 5 seconds and 60
seconds and the half tone between 0 and 100.
IMAGE POSITION–Pressthe button to access the Image Position menu.
Ascertainthehorizontalandverticalpositionsoftheon-screenpicture.
AlternativelyusetheAUTO option to automatically adjust the image to the
optimum position.
ADVANCE-Pressthe button to access the Advance menu. CTI limits
interference to colour, LTI optimises brightness, DLC adjusts the depth of the
imageforoptimumpicturequality,SKIN optimises the appearance of skin on
screen and DNR restrains image noise. There are four options for each; Off,
Weak, Medium and Strong.
tExt LAnguAgE
1 PressTV MENU and press twice to select the Function menu.
2 Press to select TXT LANGUAGE.
3 Pressthe and buttons to select the language you want.
usIng tHE CHILD LOCK FunCtIOn
1 PresstheH.LOCKbuttonontheremotecontrolandenterthefour-digit
password which is factory set to 0000.
2 The Child Lock menu will open.
3 Use the , , and buttons to choose which items you would like to lock
or unlock by highlighting it and pressing H.LOCK.SelectingLocked will mean
that the password must be entered before accessing that particular function
or channel.

1 PresstheH.LOCKbuttonontheremotecontrolandenterthefour-digit
password which is factory set to 0000.
2 The Child Lock menu will open. Use the and buttons to scroll to
Change Password and press the button.
3 Enteryournewpassword.Whenyouhaveinputtedthefourdigitsyouwillbe
promptedtoenteritagain.Yournewpasswordwillthenautomaticallybesaved.
