PRECAUTIONS AND GENERAL
RECOMMENDATIONS
Use the refriger tor comp rtment only for
storing fresh food and beverages and use the
freezer comp rtment only for storing frozen
food, freezing fresh food and ma ing ice cubes.
Do not cover or obstruct the air vents of the
appliance.
Do not store liquids in glass containers in the
freezer compartment - danger of bursting.
Do not eat ice cubes or ice lollies immediately
after ta ing them out of the freezer
compartment - ris of cold burns.
Do not allow children to play or hide inside the
appliance - ris of becoming trapped and
suffocating.
Do not swallow the contents (non-toxic) of the
ice pac s.
Before servicing or cle ning the ppli nce,
unplug it from the m ins or disconnect the
electric l power supply.
The power cable may only be replaced by an
authorised person.
After installation, ma e sure that the refrigerator
is not standing on the power supply cable.

This appliance is intended to come into contact
with foodstuffs and conforms to D.L. 108 of
25.01.1992 (European Directive 89/109/EEC).

Appli nces with Isobut ne (R600 )
Isobutane is a natural gas with low environmental
impact. Caution is required, however, since
isobutane is flammable. Therefore, it is essential to
ensure that refrigerant pipelines are not damaged.
HOW TO OPERATE THE REFRIGERATOR
COMPARTMENT
This appliance is a refrigerator with a star freezer
compartment.
Defrosting of the refriger tor comp rtment is completely
utom tic.
Optimal performance is obtained at temperatures between
+16°C and +32°C.
St rting up the ppli nce
Depending on the model, the appliance features external
controls (A1-A2) or internal controls (B).
For appliances featuring extern l controls (A1-A2): press the
ON button (1).
The inside light switches on when the refrigerator door is opened.
Green LED (2) lights up, indicating operation of the appliance.
For appliances featuring intern l controls (B), when the appliance
is connected to the mains, the inside light switches on each time the
door is opened (provided that the thermostat is not on z).
Import nt:
There is no need to adjust the thermostat nob (5) as the
temperature is factory set to ensure the correct storage
temperature for fresh foods at ambient temperatures
between +20°C and +25°C.
After being switched on, the refrigerator needs approximately
30 minutes to reach the correct temperature to store a typical
volume of food in the refrigerator compartment.
