IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
IMPORTANT: Please read, understand, and comply with all of the
instructions provided in this manual before using the device.
Failure to comply with the instructions given in this manual or
using the device not mentioned in this manual may cause in
serious personal injury or equipment damage.
• DO NOT touch the base or the glass parts of the kettle while the
appliance is operating or immediately aer operation.These
components will be hot and may cause burns or other personal
injuries.
• DO NOT fill the kettle above the “MAX”line.Doing this may
cause the water to boil over during operation and may result in
scalding.Minimum amount of water needed for boiling is 0.5 L,
too little water will result in the kettle switching o before the
water has boiled.
• ALWAYS handle with care when there is hot water insidethe
kettle.Failure to do so may result in burns or scalding.
• Use the appliance with the specified voltage 120V 60Hz.
• DO NOT allow children to use or play with this appliance.
Always keep this kettle and its components out of reach
from children.
• DO NOT use the kettle if the kettle is malfunctioning, if it is
broken or chipped, or if the power cord or plug is damaged in
any way. Stop using and contact with Customer Support
immediately.
• ALWAYS unplug the kettle when it is not being used. This will
prevent moisture from causing a short circuit in the power base
while it is plugged in.
• This appliance is for indoor use ONLY
Use & Care
•The ideal environment for using this product is at elevations
lower than 2000m.If using this product at elevations higher
than 2000m, the capacity of water used should not exceed 1.5L.
• ALWAYS place the kettle on a dry, flat surface.
• DO NOT place the kettle on or near heat sources such as stove
tops, ovens, and etc.
• DO NOT turn on the kettle while the lid is open.
• DO NOT cover the opening of the kettle while it is operating.
Doing so may result in damage to the kettle.
• ALWAYS empty and clean the kettle aer using each time. If
necessary, descale the kettle by following the instructions in
Descaling the Kettle.
• DO NOT attempt to repair the kettle or its parts by yourself or
through other third-party appliances when it is broken. Doing
so may result in further damage or personal injury and will void
your warranty.
• DO NOT dispose of this kettle in regular household waste.
• The kettle will be automatically shut o in 5 minutes once the
setting program is completed.
• Under Keep Warm Mode, If the kettle has been taken away from the
base,the system will be keeping the in-progress setting for 5 minutes.

BEFORE FIRST USE
1. Remove and safely discard any packaging material or
promotional labels attached to your kettle.
2. It is recommended that filling the kettle to the maximum level
with cold tap water before your first using, bring to the boil by
selecting the BOIL 212 °F button, then discard the water.
3. Your kettle will only operate when positioned on the power
base. The kettle will automatically switch o when the water
has reached the selected temperature.

Do not remove the glass kettle from the package if it is broken.
Contact Customer Support immediately to replace your kettle (see
page 14).
Perform the Water Test before using your kettle to make sure it’s
working properly. Do not drink the water that is boiled during this
initial test.

BEFORE FIRST USE
1. Remove and safely discard any packaging material or
promotional labels attached to your kettle.
2. It is recommended that filling the kettle to the maximum level
with cold tap water before your first using, bring to the boil by
selecting the BOIL 212 °F button, then discard the water.
3. Your kettle will only operate when positioned on the power
base. The kettle will automatically switch o when the water
has reached the selected temperature.
OPERATION OF YOUR KETTLE
1. Remove tea infuser lid,fill with fresh water(enough for the
cups of tea you wish to make),and place back the lid in place.
NOTE：
Always fill the kettle between the minimum (MIN) and maximum
(MAX) marks on the water window. Too little water will result in
the kettle switching o before the water has boiled. Filling
above the maximum (MAX) mark may result in boiling water
splashing from the kettle.
2.Place the kettle firmly into the power base. Select the desired
temperature button, depending on the type of tea you are
soaking on. And then press START CANCEL, the START CANCEL
button lights up in red and starts flashing, water starts heating.
3.Aer reaching the desired temperature, add tea leaves or tea
bags, START CANCEL button stops flashing and red light change
to white light.
4. Infusing tea
The correct brew time is depending on the type of tea and your
personal preference. Enjoy your cup of tea and let it brew as
you like.
BASIC OPERATION
Power ON And OFF
1.Power ON:Once plugged in, 212 and START CANCEL indicator
lights will remain on, select START CANCEL button to turn on
the kettle.
NOTE:
Press START CANCEL to turn on the kettle, the indicator lights
will be lit from right to le, from le to right once.212 and
START CANCEL indicator light will remain on.
2. POWER OFF:Long press the START CANCEL key for 3 seconds to
turn o the kettle. By doing so, the indicator lights will be lit from
right to le, from le to right once, and all lights will be o.

NOTE:
Boiling
Please follow the instructions below aer the kettle is turned on
properly:
1.Press 212,and then press START CANCEL button, the water starts
to heat.
BOIL / BLACK --------------------- 212°F

This base lists some common tea and coee varieties and the recom-
mended temperature to select. It is a guideline only and may vary
depending on preference, brand and age of
tea/coee used.
Experiment with your favorite tea/coee and adjust the temperatures
and steeping times to suit personal taste.
2. Boiling completed
When water temperature reaches the pre-set temperature, the
boiling process will be completed.The beep sound reminder aer
boiling water is completed(except mute mode).

The Art of Steeping Tea
Great care is taken to create every tea’s unique character.
Each tea should be brewed at the right temperature to properly savor and
appreciate all the natural and aromatic flavors and benefits. More delicate teas
risk burning at general steeping temperatures; this variety should be steeped at
a lower temperature to optimize flavors. Below is a chart with our suggested
steeping temperatures and times.

If the unit is not in use for 5 minutes, it will revert to sleep mode.
The heater and all lights will be o, but your last selections will remain
in the unit’s memory.
To turn the kettle back on, simply press any button, or li it up and
then return it to the base.
Memory Feature
Under the Keep Warm Mode , The kettle features an internal “memory”
that lets you leave the kettle o the base for up to 5 minutes without it
going into standby mode.
When returned to the base, it will restart the heating and/or Keep
Warm cycles right where they le o.

2. Aer selecting the temperature , Press START CANCEL button to
activate the KEEP WARM function.
Example:
If the preset temperature is 185°F, the process is as following:
1. Plug in and turn on the kettle.
2.Press 185 button, and then press START CANCEL
NOTE:
1. Minimum capacity of water needed for boiling is 0.5 L.
2. This appliance has a dry-run safety feature. If there is no
water inside the kettle during operation, it will
automatically turn o toprevent the heating plate overheats.
3. If the kettle overheats, fill it with cold water and
wait 2 minutes before resuming.

Note:
In the process of heating or heat preservation, you can press
KEEP WARM to keep warm or cancel heat preservation at will.
The heat preservation time is fixed for 2 hours, and the heat
preservation cannot be started when on the BOIL BLACK mode.
Example:
To set the KEEP WARM temperature as 185°F for 120 minutes:
1. Press KEEP WARM button to start KEEP WARM mode.
2.Press START CANCEL button to activate the KEEP WARM function.
Mute Mode
1.When the kettle is on,press and hold “KEEP WARM”button for 3
seconds to enter MUTE mode.In Mute mode, there won't be beep
sound and key tone.
1.Press and hold “KEEP WARM” button for 3 seconds to quit
Mute mode.

Keep Warm Time : 2 Hours
Turn on the Keep Warm Function : press the Keep Warm button
Turn o the Keep Warm Function : press the Keep Warm button 2 times
Under 212F (Boil/Black) temperature, Keep Warm function will not
working.

NOTE:
CARE & CLEANING
General cleaning
We recommend cleaning the kettle aer using each time.
1. Unplug the power base from the electrical outlet.
2. Allow the kettle to completely cool down, then pour out any
remaining water.
3. Wash the kettle with warm, soapy water. Dry it thoroughly with a
so, clean towel.
Descaling the Kettle
You should descale the kettle at least once a week if you use it
frequently. Descaling removes any mineral deposits that have built up
inside the kettle. Always descale the kettle aer it has been stored for
long periods of time and before storing it.
1. Fill the kettle with 1 cup of distilled vinegar or lemon juice and 2
cups of water (1:2 ratio).
2. Boil the mixture, then let it soak in the kettle for 2 hours.
3. Pour out the solution, then wipe the limescale away with a cloth or
nonabrasive sponge.
4. Rinse the kettle with clean water, and dry with a so cloth.
5. Repeat as needed.

Kettle will not switch“ON”
The kettle will not work
1. Check the power plug if is securely inserted into the
outlet.
2. Insert the power plug into an independent outlet.
3. Insert the power plug into a dierent outlet.
4. Reset the circuit breaker if necessary.
5. For additional safety, the kettle is fitted with a
thermal cut out. In the event of severe overheating,
the kettle will be automatically shut down to prevent
further damage. If this occurs,please call Willsence
Consumer Support.
Check the glass jug if is securely positioned on
the Power Base.
I cannot select a certain
function
1. It is under”Locking Mode”.
The smart tea pot will not work. Check the glass
jug is securely positioned on the power base.
