A secure structure must be able to support the weight, or load, of the display. When mounting to a wall that
contains wooden studs, dead center of the wooden stud must be confirmed prior to installation.
Do not install the mount on a structure that is prone to vibration, movement or chance of impact. Do not
install near a heater, fireplace, direct sunlight, air conditioning or any other source of direct heat energy.
Failure to follow these instructions may result in damage to the display, damage to the mounting surface
and could increase risk of fire.
At least two people should perform the installation procedure. Injury and/or damage can result from
dropping or mishandling the display.
1. Please read and follow the instructions carefully.
2. Don’t attempt to perform the installation alone. Two people should perform the installation to
avoid incorrect installation and possible injury.

THIS MOUNT IS 110 LBS. IF THIS WEIGHT IS EXCEEDED, DAMAGE TO THE MOUNT AND/OR
UNIT MAY OCCUR.

3. For the sake of safety, make sure to specify the installation position and ensure that the wall
can bear the weight of the television and bracket. Measures should be taken to make the
installation strong enough to withstand an earthquake, excess vibration or other external forces.
4. Install the mount and display on a flat and stable surface.
Note: Incorrect installation may cause the display to fall and potentially cause personal injuries.
 • Installingthebracketonawall:
During installation, please ensure that the wall stud has enough strength to bear the total
weight of the display and bracket. Do not install the bracket on a decorative post or plaster-
board wall.
 • Installingthebracketonaconcretewall:
Use standard fastening pieces that are strong enough to bear the weight of the display.
5. Do not install this mount or display on unsteady surfaces. Failure to do so could lead to per-
sonal injury.
6. Do not install the display in a dusty area in order to reduce the risk of fire.
7. Do not install the mount and display in places where there is excess amounts of direct sunlight
in order to avoid eyestrain from watching TV.
8. Install this display and mount with the specified parts in the specified places. Do not substitute
any of the parts as this can lead to incorrect and unsafe installations.
9. Please follow the TV assembly sheet and the bracket-assembly sheet carefully to avoid damage
to the display and/or possible personal injury.
10. The manufacturer and the dealer do not assume responsibility for incorrect installation when non-
professional personnel attempt to perform the installation.
11.Unplugthedisplayandcontactthelocaldealerifyouencounterthefollowingconditions:
a. The installation is loose and the display swings over a larger than specified angle.
b. Any mounting screws/parts are loose or lost.
c. The functioning of the equipment has changed in a dramatic way.
12.Ifthemountappearsunsafe,performthefollowingmeasures:
a. Power off the television and disconnect the AC power cord from the wall.
b. Make sure that others are not allowed to come near the mount and display.
c. Contact the local dealer.
d. Ask your dealer to reinstall or move the bracket, or adjust the angle. Incorrect installation or
adjustment may cause the display to fall.
13. Do not install near a source of running water or excess humidity in order to reduce the risk of
electric shock.
14. Ensure the display is well ventilated to protect it from overheating. Plasma displays in particular
can give off significant amounts of heat. Do not block the ventilation slots and openings on the
display.
15. When dismantling this display and mount after lengthy use, screw holds and expansion screws
might remain in the wall due to high temperature and airflow.

PARTS & INSTALLATION
INSTALLATION
1. Separate the individual pieces of the mount assembly.
2. Lay the TV on a safe, flat surface with the monitor side facing down as shown.
3. Place the two mounting brackets on the back of the TV, with the arrows pointing to the top of the
TV, and evenly over the TV’s mounting screw holes.
4. Install the correct-size screws (depending on depth of screw hole) into the two loose mounting
brackets. Use spacers as needed.

THREAD DEPTH INDICATOR (Not included)
a. Insert a thread depth indicator through the thread inserts found on the back of the flat panel.
Make sure the inserts measure the same full depth. Mark the depth.
b. Locate the correct diameter screw for the thread insert. Match your marked length to the screws.
c. The screw length must not bypass the marking. Select another screw size, until you find one that
comes closest to your mark without going past.
WARNING: IF YOUR SELECTED SCREW IS LONGER THAN THE MARKING ON THE THREAD DEPTH
INDICATOR, DO NOT USE THIS SCREW.

5. Install the wall plate at the desired wall location for the TV.
a. Dry-wall mounting
Note:Dry-wallmustbethickerthan1.5”(39mm)andwallstudsmustbemorethan2.75”(70mm)thick.
i. Unscrew the two screws on the wall mount bracket. This will allow access to the bottom
mounting later.
ii. Determine where the mount location will be. Use a stud finder to locate the nearest wall
stud.
iii. Once the stud has been located, use a pencil to mark the center of the stud.
iv. Using a 1/8” drill bit, drill the upper mounting hole where the mark was made.
v. After the holes have been predrilled, line up the mounting slot openings with the pre-drilled
holes.
vi. Flip the long mounting bar up for easier access to the mounting slot openings.
vii. Insert four (4) M6x55 screws into the mounting holes and tighten. Do not flip the long
mounting bar down yet.
viii. Refer to the level on the mount. Once the mount is level, tighten down all screws.
b. Concrete wall mounting
Note: Concrete anchors must be used for concrete installation. The mounting surface must be a
minimum 6” thick.
i. Unscrew the two screws on the wall mount bracket. This will allow access to the bottom
mounting screws later.
ii. Place the mount into position against the wall, using the level on the mount for proper
positioning.
iii. Mark off four holes to be used for securing the mount.
iv. Drill holes using a masonry bit for the anchors (recommended is a 5/16” masonry bit).
v. Insert four (4) 10mm expansion pipes into the mounting holes.
vi. If necessary, a hammer can be used to lightly tap each expansion pipe into place so that
they are flush with the wall.
vii. Once all the expansion pipes are in place, move the wall bracket into position.
viii. Flip the long mounting bar up for easier access to the mounting slot openings.
ix. Attach the M6x55 screws onto the expansion pipe. Do not flip the long mounting bar
down yet.
x. Refer to the level on the mount. Once the mount is level, tighten down all screws.

6. Mount the display onto the wall mount
WARNING: IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT TWO PEOPLE MOUNT THE DISPLAY, AS THE UNIT IS
HEAVY AND, IF DROPPED, WILL DAMAGE THE MOUNT, THE DISPLAY, AND/OR PERSONNEL.
a. With another person to help, pick up the TV and line up the installed plate’s hooks with the top
of the extended wall mount.
b. Place the TV’s plate into the wall mount’s plate’s hooks and slowly put the TV in place.
MAKE SURE THE WALL MOUNT IS SECURE ENOUGH TO SUPPORT THE WEIGHT OF THE TV
BEFORE LETTING GO.
7. Connect the TV’s cables.
REMOVAL

HEAVY AND, IF DROPPED, WILL DAMAGE THE MOUNT, THE DISPLAY, AND/OR PERSONNEL.

fait sur un mur contenant des montants de bois, il faut confirmer le point mort entre les montants avant
l’installation.
N’installez pas sur une structure sujette aux vibrations, aux mouvements ou aux chocs. Évitez d’installer dans
un endroit exposé à la lumière directe du soleil, près d’un appareil de chauffage ou de climatisation, d’un
foyer ou de toute autre source d’énergie thermique directe.
Le fait de ne pas suivre ces instructions pourrait endommager l’écran et la surface de montage, et augmenter
les risques d’incendie.
Au moins deux personnes doivent procéder à l’installation. Le fait de laisser tomber l’écran et/ou de le
manipuler sans précaution pourrait entraîner des blessures ou causer des dommages.
1. Veuillez lire et suivre attentivement ces instructions.

3. Par souci de sécurité, déterminez la position d’installation et assurez-vous que le mur peut sup-
porter le poids du téléviseur et du support. Des mesures doivent être prises pour que l’installation
soit suffisamment solide pour résister à un tremblement de terre, à des vibrations excessives ou à
toute autre force externe.
4. Placez la plaque de montage et l’écran sur une surface plate et stable.
Remarque : Si l’installation est mal faite, l’écran risque de tomber et éventuellement, de causer des
blessures corporelles.
 • Installationdusupportaumur:
Au moment de l’installation, assurez-vous que le montant est suffisamment solide pour sup-
porter le poids total de l’écran et du support. N’installez pas le support sur une colonne ou un
poteau décoratif, ou sur un mur de plâtre.
 • Installationdusupportsurunmurdebéton:
Utilisez des pièces d’attache suffisamment robustes pour supporter le poids de l’écran.
5. N’installez pas le support mural ou l’écran sur une surface instable. Le fait de ne pas respecter
cette consigne pourrait entraîner des blessures corporelles.
6. N’installez pas l’écran dans un endroit poussiéreux afin de réduire le risque d’incendie.
7. N’installez pas la plaque de montage et l’écran dans un endroit fortement exposé à la lumière
directe du soleil afin d’éviter la fatigue des yeux en regardant la télévision.
8. Installez le support mural et l’écran en utilisant les pièces indiquées aux endroits indiqués. Ne
remplacez aucune de ces pièces par une autre car il pourrait en résulter une installation incorrecte
et non sécuritaire.
9. Veuillez suivre attentivement le schéma d’assemblage du téléviseur et du support pour éviter les
risques de blessures corporelles ou de dommages à l’écran.
10. Le fabricant et le dépositaire n’assument aucune responsabilité pour toute installation incorrecte
faite par des personnes non professionnelles.

a. L’installation n’est pas suffisamment serrée et l’écran pivote sur un angle plus grand que normal.
b. Des vis ou pièces de montage sont lâches ou manquantes.
c. Le fonctionnement de l’équipement a changé de façon radicale.
12.Silaplaquedemontagenesemblepassécuritaire,faitescequisuit:
a. Éteignez le téléviseur et débranchez le cordon d’alimentation c.a du mur.
b. Assurez-vous que personne ne s’approche du support mural et de l’écran.
c. Communiquez avec le dépositaire local.
d. Demandez à votre dépositaire de réinstaller ou de déplacer le support, ou d’en ajuster l’angle.
Si, l’installation ou l’ajustement sont incorrects, l’écran risque de tomber.
13. N’installez pas près d’une source d’eau courante ou d’humidité excessive afin d’éviter le risque de
choc électrique.
14. Assurez une ventilation adéquate de l’écran pour éviter qu’il ne surchauffe. Les écrans au plasma
en particulier peuvent dégager passablement de chaleur. Ne bloquez pas les fentes de ventilation
et les ouvertures sur l’écran.
15. Lorsque vous démontez l’écran et la plaque de montage après une longue utilisation, il se pourrait
que les porte-vis et les chevilles d’expansion restent dans le mur en raison de la circulation d’air et
de la température élevée.

PIÈCES ET INSTALLATION
INSTALLATION
1. Séparez les différentes pièces en vue de l’assemblage.
2. Déposez le téléviseur sur une surface plate et solide, côté écran vers le bas, comme sur l’illustration.
3. Placez les deux supports de montage à l’arrière du téléviseur, avec les flèches pointant vers le
haut, à égale distance sur les trous de montage des vis.
4. Posez les vis de grosseur appropriée (selon la profondeur des trous) sur les deux supports de
montage non attachés.

INDICATEUR DE PROFONDEUR DE FILETAGE: (Pas inclus)
a. Insérez l’indicateur de profondeur de filetage dans la douille filetée à l’arrière de l’écran plat.
Assurez-vous que la douille filetée mesure la même profondeur totale. Marquez la profondeur.
b. Repérez la vis de diamètre approprié pour la douille filetée. Transposez la longueur marquée sur
les vis.
c. La longueur de la vis ne doit pas dépasser la marque. Choisissez une autre longueur de vis jusqu’à ce
que vous en trouviez une qui se rapproche beaucoup de votre marque, sans la dépasser.
ATTENTION: SI LA VIS QUE VOUS AVEZ CHOISIE EST PLUS LONGUE QUE LA MARQUE SUR
L’INDICATEUR DE PROFONDEUR DE FILETAGE, NE L’UTILISEZ PAS.

5. Posez la plaque murale à l’endroit où vous voulez installer le téléviseur.
a. Montage sur cloison sèche
Remarque : La cloison sèche doit avoir plus de 1,5 po (39 mm) d’épaisseur et les montants plus de 2,75 po (70 mm).
i. Dévissez les deux vis sur le support mural, ce qui vous permettra d’avoir accès plus tard aux vis
du bas.
ii. Déterminez l’emplacement de montage. À l’aide d’un détecteur de montant, repérez le mon-
tant le plus proche.
iii. Une fois repéré, utilisez un crayon pour marquer le centre du montant.
iv. À l’aide d’une mèche d’un huit de pouce (1/8 po), percez le trou de montage du haut, là où
vous avez fait une marque.
v. Après avoir percé les trous, alignez les fentes sur les trous prépercés.
vi. Retournez la longue barre de montage pour un accès plus facile aux ouvertures de fente de
montage.
vii. Insérez quatre (4) vis M6x55 dans les trous et serrez. Ne pas retourner la longue barre de mon-
tage vers le bas tout de suite.
viii. Vérifiez le niveau à bulle sur la plaque. Lorsque la bulle est au centre, serrez solidement toutes les vis.
b. Montage sur un mur de béton
Remarque: Il faut utiliser des ancres de béton pour l’installation sur un mur de béton. La surface de
montage doit avoir une épaisseur minimale de 6 po.
i. Dévissez les deux vis sur le support mural, ce qui vous permettra d’avoir accès plus tard aux vis du bas.
ii. Placez la plaque en position contre le mur, en utilisant le niveau pour obtenir un positionnement adéquat.
iii. Tracez quatre trous que vous utiliserez pour bien fixer la plaque en place.
iv. Percez des trous pour les ancres à l’aide d’une mèche à maçonnerie (le diamètre recommandé
est de 5/16 po).
v. Insérez quatre (4) chevilles d’expansion de 10 mm dans les trous de montage.
vi. Au besoin, utilisez un marteau pour enfoncer doucement chaque cheville en place de façon
qu’elles arrivent à égalité avec le mur.
vii. Une fois que toutes les chevilles sont en place, installez le support au mur.
viii. Retournez la longue barre de montage pour un accès plus facile aux ouvertures de fente de montage.
ix. Vissez des vis M6x55 dans les chevilles. Ne pas retourner la longue barre de montage vers
le bas tout de suite.
x. Vérifiez le niveau à bulle sur la plaque. Lorsque la bulle est au centre, serrez solidement toutes les vis.
Vissez les vis dans les montants.
Vissez ces deux vis.

6. Posez l’écran sur la plaque de montage.
MISE EN GARDE : IL EST RECOMMANDÉ QUE DEUX PERSONNES METTENT L’ÉCRAN EN PLACE,
CAR IL EST LOURD ET S’IL DEVAIT VOUS GLISSER DES MAINS, VOUS RISQUERIEZ DE VOUS
BLESSER ET/OU D’ENDOMMAGER LA PLAQUE MURALE ET L’ÉCRAN.
a. Avec une autre personne pour vous aider, saisissez le téléviseur et alignez les crochets sur le
dessus de la plaque déployée.
b. Mettez la plaque du téléviseur dans les crochets de la plaque murale, puis faites glisser lente-
ment le téléviseur en place. ASSUREZ-VOUS QUE LA PLAQUE MURALE EST SUFFISAMMENT
SOLIDE POUR SUPPORTER LE POIDS DU TÉLÉVISEUR AVANT DE LÂCHER PRISE.
7. Branchez les câbles du téléviseur.

BLESSER ET/OU D’ENDOMMAGER LA PLAQUE MURALE ET L’ÉCRAN.
1. Tirez sur les ficelles pour dégager le téléviseur du support mural.
2. Soulevez le téléviseur en l’éloignant du mur.
