1. Introduction
Thank you for the preference you have given to our product and we would like to congratulate you on the
purchase of your new Wolf Creek PT75 pole saw.
We believe that, properly maintained, this unit will provide you with years of trouble-free operation and you can
fully appreciate its quality, performance and comfort.
The PT75 pole saw has been designed and manufactured with the utmost care in accordance with strict stand-
ards of security, reliability and ease of use that all Wolf Creek products.
Please read this manual carefully. Familiarize yourself with all the components of the pole saw before using it
for the first time. Please follow all comments, explanations and instructions in this manual for optimal and safe
usage of this product.

2. Safety Instructions
Danger! Warning! Caution!
This symbol indicates a danger, warning or caution. It indicates that the operator
security is at stake.
Your pole saw should always be used in accordance with this manual.
IMPORTANT
Some of the following symbols may be used on your tool, be sure to study them and learn their meaning.
Proper interpretation of these symbols will allow you to use the machine more effectively and reduce the risk of
accident.
2.1 Safety Symbols and Labels
Read the instruction manual
The instruction manual contains information designed to draw attention to the possible
problems of safety, the risk of damage to the machine as well as useful tips for startup,
operation and maintenance. Please observer all notes, explanations and instructions
in this manual extras for optimal and safe use of this product.
Keep a safe distance
The operator is responsible for the safety of others present in the work area of the
machine. Never use the pole saw while others, especially children or pets, are nearby.
Wear protection
Wear eye and ear protection when using the pole saw.

Wear close-fitting clothing suitable for wok gloves, eye and ear protection and non-slip
shoes when using the pole saw.
Maintenance of the machine
Remove the plug from the socket before all adjustment operations, cleaning, transport,
maintenance or when you leave it unattended.
Do not expose the unit to rain
Never expose the machine to rain or wet conditions. DO NOT use this machine in the
rain.
Damaged power cord
Never use an appliance with a damaged or frayed. Remove the plug on the power
cord from the electrical outlet immediately.
Power lines
Always beware of the danger from overhead electric-power line, keep a safe distance
of at least 10M away from a power line.
Electrical hazard
This device operates with a dangerous voltage.
Double insulation
For your safety, this appliance is equipped with a double electrical insulation.
Voltage
Check that the voltage and frequency indicated on the nameplate affixed to the
machine corresponds to those of the electricity supply.
Recycling
This product must not be disposed of with household waste. It should be desposed at
a collection site for recyling and recovery of electrical and electronic waste.

Study this manual thoroughly.
Familiarize yourself with the operation of the pole saw and learn to use it properly.
Never allow others (especially children) who have not read the manual to use the machine.
If the unit must be given to other people, give them this manual as well.
Never remove any labels or security elements.
Check that the voltage and frequency indicated on the nameplate affixed to the pole saw corrseponds to the
electricity supply.
Check the chain oil level before each use. Never use the pole saw without any chain oil in the tank or when
the amount of chain oil is very low.
Make sure the guide bar, saw chain, fasteners and safety components are in good condition before each
use. Replace excessively worn, damaged or missing parts.
Do use the pole saw if the chain side cover is not installed or when the guide bar is damaged or missing.
To connect the pole saw to the power supply, use only appropriate and compliant equipment in perfect
condition.
Keep the power cord away from the radius of action of the pole saw and make sure it is not subjected to any
tension. Move the power cord away from water, heat and sharp edges.
Do not cut near other electrical equipment. Do not force the power cord.
Never use the power cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging the machine.
Do not use the machine if the power on/off switch does not work properly. If necessary, contact your Wolf
Creek dealer for any repair.
Never expose the pole saw to rain or moisture. Never allow water or other liquids to enter the machine.
Do not operate the pole saw in environments with flammable items such as liquids, gases or dust. The
sparks generated by the operation of the machine can cause an explosion.
Do not start cutting until the work area is clear and clean. Keep the work area clean and tidy to reduce the
risk of accidents.
During the first use, it is recommended that the user be accompanied by an experienced person.

Operate the pole saw only in daylight or in areas with good lighting.
The use of power equipment can be regulated. Remember to comply with any legal regulations which may
differ from one location to another.
Do not use the pole saw if you are tired or ill. Also avoid use if you have consumed alcohol or drugs.
Wear close-fitting and comfortable clothing. Always wear long trousers, sturdy and non-slip shoes and
personal protective equipment such as gloves, goggles, a helmet with visor, ear defenders, etc.
Make sure the trigger switch is turned off before connecting the pole saw plug to the power supply to avoid
sudden and unexpected accidents.
Do not allow anyone to remain in the range of action of the pole saw during use. Keep people, children and
animals away from the work area. If working in a group, keep sufficient distance between people.
Make sure that the handles are clean and dry. When the machine is running, always firmly grip the tube with
your left hand and the rear handle with your right hand.
Always work in a stable and balanced position on firm ground. Do not work on slippery or unstable ground.
Choose a safe place to fell plants.
Hold the pole saw firmly in both hands. Put yourself in a position that allows you to withstand the forces of a
backlash. Never let go of the pole saw.

Do not saw using the tip of the saw guide bar.
During cutting, some tension from the wood may be released suddenly causing splashes or hazardous
releases.
Never operate a damaged, poorly repaired, poorly fitted or modified machine.
Do not overload the machine, always use the proper and correct equipment for the job.

WARNING
To reduce the time of exposure to vibration and noise, it is preferable to use the pole saw with frequent breaks
and limiting the duration of continuous work.
WARNING
The vibration level during actual use of the tool can differ from the specification depending on how the tool is
used. Vibration levels and security measures to protect the operated are based on an estimate of the expo-
sure in actual conditions of use, taking into account all parts of the user such as times when the tool is turned
off and when it is running on idle.
Always unplug the unit from the power supply before performing any service or maintenance.
Never carry the pole saw until it is unplugged and completely stopped. Hold the machine by the front handle
with the guide turned back and the protective sheath inserted.
Always follow the instructions provided for maintenance. After each use, check the operation of safety
devices, setting, tension and condition of parts. Maintain the unit, replacing any worn or damaged parts.
Always have repairs on the pole saw carried out by a qualified person. For safety reasons, use only original
parts or approved parts by Wolf Creek.
Keep the pole saw clean and always store in a dry area with a protective sleeve inserted. Always store
power tools in a place out of reach of children.
Keep this manual safe and consult it whenever you use the machine.

Unauthorized modification can make the machine dangerous and lead to sever injury during use. Wolf Creek
disclaims any liability in case of misuse or failure to comply with the instructions and/or regulations in force.
IMPORTANT
Before carrying out any work on the pole saw, disconnect the power plug.
3.1 Cleaning, Storage, Transportation and Maintenance
Regular cleaning after use will ensure the pole saw functions well and reduces the risk of corrosion or stress
corrosion.
3.1.1 Cleaning the pole saw
WARNING
Never submerse the pole saw in water or any other liquid for cleaning.
Never clean the pole saw with a high pressure washer.
After stopping the pole saw and allowing it to cool, remove the cutting debris accumulated under the cover by
blowing with compressed air or cleaning with a brush. If necessary, wipe with a soft damp cloth.
3.1.2 Storage and transport of the pole saw
Store your pole saw in a cool and dry area. Store in a place out of reach of children.
For long term storage, drain the chain oil tank and lubricate the chain and guide bar before storing away.
Never carry the pole saw until it is unplugged and completely stopped. Hold the unit by the front handle, the
guide bar turned back and the protective sheath inserted.

3.1.3 Maintenance of the pole saw
This pole saw is equipped with an automatic chain lubrication feature. Regularly check the chain oil level.•

For best results, sharpen the chain regularly at a specialist workshop.•

Low chain oil level or contact with a dull chain can reduce cutting performance quickly.

6. Protection of the environment
To act for the protection of the environment, we recommend taking into consideration the following:

WASTE DISPOSAL
According to the European Directive on the disposal of waste electrical and electronic equipment,
power tools that are no longer usable must be collected and follow a path of appropriate recycling.
Do not dispose of electric tools together with househould waste.

8. Warranty
Wolf Creek ensure the replacement of all defective parts by a fault or a manufacturing defect for a period of 12
months from purchase date. In no event shall the warranty give rise to a refund of the equipment for any direct
or indirect misuse of the machine than that of its intended purpose.
Wolf Creek accepts no liability for any damaged caused to persons or property from using this machine.
The warranty does not cover:
Abnormal or improper use of the pole saw
Lack of maintenance
Lack of oil
Using the pole saw for commercial or rental purposes
Installation, adjustment and commissioning of the pole saw
Damage or loss occured during transportation or movement
Damage due to shock or fall
Shipping and packaging material
Wear and tear items (i.e. guide bar, chain, lubricating oil, etc.)
