Xcellon Silicone User manual

Introduction
Thank you for choosing Xcellon.
Congratulations on the purchase of your new Xcellon KSW-10 USB Silicone Keyboard. This
keyboard features a water resistant and washable design, with an integrated touch pad that
replaces a standard two-button mouse. The keyboard also boasts 12 media keys that launch
your web browser, email client, and control the primary functions of your media player.

Connecting the Keyboard
To connect your keyboard, plug the USB cable into an available USB port on your computer,
and wait for your computer to recognize the device – it may take a few seconds. To disconnect
your keyboard, unplug it from the USB port.
Media Keys
The Media keys are a shortcut to your default web browser, Microsoft Outlook, and Windows
Media Player; they also control basic playback of Windows Media Player. To use the media
keys, press Fn + corresponding F key.

Launch Windows Media Player
Fn + F2 Volume up Works only in Windows Media Player
Fn + F3 Volume down Works only in Windows Media Player
Fn + F4 Mute volume Works only in Windows Media Player
Fn + F5 Previous track Works only in Windows Media Player
Fn + F6 Next track Works only in Windows Media Player
Fn + F7 Play/pause Works only in Windows Media Player
Fn + F8 Stop Works only in Windows Media Player
Fn + F9 Launch default web
browser
•Launches the home page in a new tab
(Firefox) or window (IE, Chrome, and Safari)
or a new blank tab (Opera) when the default
browser is already open in the background
•Launches the home page in the current tab
when any web browser is in the foreground
Fn + F10 Launch Microsoft Outlook Launches Opera Mail when Opera browser is in
the foreground
Fn + F11 Launch My Computer
Fn + F12 Toggle favorites tab/refresh

•Firefox and Internet Explorer: toggles the
favorites tab
•Safari: refreshes the page
•Not compatible with Chrome or Opera
Caps, Numeric, and Scroll Lock
To toggle the caps, numeric, and scroll lock functions, press the Caps Lock, Num Lock, or Scroll
Lock keys. The caps lock function sets your keyboard to type in all uppercase letters. Numeric
lock engages the numeric keypad (see Numeric Keypad chapter). Scroll lock lets you use
the directional arrow keys to scroll around the screen. When caps, numeric, or scroll lock are
engaged, the corresponding red light on the right side of the keyboard will glow.
Note: not all programs support Scroll Lock.
Numeric Keypad
Most keys on the numeric keypad serve two functions.

Shift + 3 Page down Same function when numeric lock is o
Shift + 4 Left directional arrow Same function when numeric lock is o
Shift + 6 Right directional arrow Same function when numeric lock is o
Shift + 7 Home Same function when numeric lock is o
Shift + 8 Up directional arrow Same function when numeric lock is o
Shift + 9 Page up Same function when numeric lock is o
Shift + . Delete Not backspace
Touchpad
Slide your finger around the touchpad to move the onscreen cursor. Double-tap your finger
to double-click like on a conventional mouse. The left and right buttons below the touchpad
function correspond to the left and right mouse buttons.

replacement during the time of this warranty please return the defective item with proof of purchase
along with an RMA number to the place of purchase. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and
you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
