IT Caratteristiche ETI/SER XIP
USB
Sono disponibili 6 porte USB; 4 USB A sulla parte anteriore e 2 porte mini-
USB sulla parte posteriore.
Tutte le porte supportano lo standard High-speed USB 2.0 - 480 Mbps.
LAN
ETI/SER XIP dispone di un connettore standard RJ45 per rete ethernet
10/100/1000BaseT. Usare un cavo Ethernet standard per la connessione.
Il connettore è dotato di LED che si accende quando viene rilevata una
connessione.
Pulsante di accensione
ETI/SER XIP è dotato di un pulsante di accensione. Per spegnere ETI/
SER XIP mantenere premuto il pulsante per 3 secondi. Al termine di
una interruzione dell’alimentazione ETI/SER XIP riprenderà a funzionare
automaticamente.
LED’s
ETI/SER XIP è dotato di 3 indicatori LED.

INSTALLAZIONE
Il dispositivo va installato in condizioni di temperatura ambiente max
35° in ARIA LIBERA oppure in rack chiuso ma ARIEGGIATO/CLIMATIZZATO
(ventilazione forzata o no in funzione di quanti altri dispositivi ci sono
nello stesso rack).
EN ETI/SER XIP features
USB
There are 6 USB ports – 4 USB A ports on the back and 2 mini-USB on
the front.
All ports support High-speed USB 2.0 - 480 Mbps.
LAN
ETI/SER XIP has 10/100/1000BaseT Ethernet using a standard RJ45 con-
nector. Use a standard Ethernet cable to connect.
The connector has built-in LED’s that are lit when a connection is detected.
Power button
ETI/SER XIP has a tactile power push-button.
To switch off ETI/SER XIP hold the button for 3 seconds .
After a power failure ETI/SER XIP restart automatically.
LED’s
ETI/SER XIP has 3 indicator LED’s.

INSTALLATION
The device shall be installed at an ambient temperature max 35 °C (95 °F)
in OPEN AIR or enclosed rack but ventilated/air conditioned (forced air or
not depending on how many devices there are in the same rack).

ETI/SER XIP est équipé d’une touche d’allumage. Pour éteindre ETI/SER
XIP, maintenir enfoncée la touche pendant 3 secondes. Après une coupure
d’alimentation, ETI/SER XIP reprendra à fonctionner automatiquement.

INSTALLATION
Le dispositif doit être installé dans des conditions de température ambiante
de maximum 35° à l’AIR LIBRE ou bien dans un rack fermé mais AÉRÉ/
CLIMATISÉ (ventilation forcée ou non en fonction du nombre de dispositifs
présents dans le même rack).

USB
Er zijn 6 USB-poorten. 4 USB-poorten bevinden zich aan de voorkant en 2
mini-USB-poorten aan de achterkant.
Alle poorten ondersteunen de standaard High-speed USB 2.0 - 480 Mbps.
LAN
ETI/SER XIP beschikt over een standaardaansluiting RJ45 voor een ether-
net-netwerk 10/100/1000BaseT. Gebruik een gewone ethernetkabel voor
de aansluiting. De aansluiting is uitgerust met LED’s die branden wanneer
er een verbinding wordt vastgesteld.
Aan/uit-knop
ETI/SER XIP is uitgerust met een aan/uit-knop. Om ETI/SER XIP uit te schake-
len, houd de knop gedurende 3 seconden ingedrukt. Aan het einde van een
stroomonderbreking begint ETI/SER XIP automatisch opnieuw te werken.

ETI/SER XIP is uitgerust met 3 LED’s.

INSTALLATIE
Het toestel moet geïnstalleerd worden in een omgevingstemperatuur van
max. 35°C in de OPENLUCHT ofwel in een VERLUCHT/GEKLIMATISEERD
gesloten rek (al dan niet kunstmatige ventilatie, afhankelijk van het aantal
andere toestellen dat zich in het rek bevindt).

• Collegare il cavo Ethernet alla presa Ethernet.
• Connettere il jack dell’alimentatore alla presa dedicata sull’ ETI/SER XIP e
connettere la presa dell’alimentatore alla rete elettrica.
Una volta configurato il Pc per connettersi al server, occorre digitare sul
Browser l’indirizzo http://192.168.1.1.
Dopo alcuni istanti apparirà la pagina web di configurazione che richiederà
per l’accesso le credenziali dell’utente che da configurazione di fabbrica
sono: Username: installer, Password: 112233.
EN QUICK START GUIDE
• Plug the Ethernet cable into the Ethernet connector.
• Gently insert the DC plug into the ETI/SER XIP DC in jack. Connect the
power supply to the AC cord and plug the cord into AC outlet.
Once the PC is configured for connection to the server, enter the following
address in the browser http://192.168.1.1.
After a few moments, the web configuration page will appear that will ask
for user credentials, which have the factory configuration of: Username:
installer, Password: 112233.
FR MISE EN MARCHE DU SYSTÈME
• Raccorder le câble Ethernet à la prise Ethernet.
• Connecter le jack de l’alimentateur à la prise dédiée sur l’ETI/SER XIP et
connecter la prise de l’alimentateur au réseau électrique.
Une fois le Pc configuré pour se connecter au server, il faut taper sur le
Browser l’adresse http://192.168.1.1.
Quelques instants après apparaîtra la page web de configuration qui
demandera pour l’accès l’identité de l’utilisateur qui selon la configuration
faite en usine est : Username : installer, Password : 112233.
NL OPSTARTEN VAN HET SYSTEEM
• Koppel de ethernetkabel aan de ethernetaansluiting.
• Verbind de jack van de voeding met de daarvoor bestemde aansluiting
op de ETI/SER XIP en sluit de stekker van de voeding aan op het
elektriciteitsnet.
Wanneer de pc geconfigureerd is om een verbinding met de server moge-
lijk te maken, tik in de browser het adres http://192.168.1.1 in.
Na enkele seconden verschijnt de configuratiepagina. U dient een user-
name en password in te voeren. In de fabriek zijn deze als volgt ingesteld:
Username: installer, Password: 112233.

IT Installazione dissipatore di calore
Allineare al lato destro del dissipatore il bordo destro dell’ETI/SER XIP
(Figura 1).
Nota.
a - Il bordo posteriore del dissipatore deve essere allineato con il bordo
superiore dell’ETI/SER XIP.
b - La scanalatura presente nella parte inferiore del dissipatore dovrebbe
trovarsi al di sopra dei LED (Figura 2).
Portare il bordo sinistro del dissipatore a contatto con il bordo sinistro dell’
ETI/SER XIP (Figura 3).
Premere forte il dissipatore contro l’ETI/SER XIP; un “click” sta ad indicare
che il dissipatore è installato correttamente.
Nota.
Un piccolo spazio tra dissipatore e ETI/SER XIP è normale e non influenza
l’efficacia di funzionamento del dissipatore.
EN Installation heat-sink
Align the right side of the heat-sink to the right edge of the ETI/SER XIP
computer (Figure 1).
Note.
a -The rear edge of the heat-sink should be aligned with the rear edge of
the ETI/SER XIP computer.
b - The indention in the bottom of the heat-sink should be above the
LEDs (Figure 2).
Allow the left edge of the heat-sink to touch the left edge of the ETI/SER
XIP computer (Figure 3).
Firmly press the heat-sink against the cover. A loud click sound indicates
that the heat-sink snapped onto the ETI/SER XIP computer. The heat-sink
is now successfully installed.
Note.
A partial gap may be observed between the heat-sink and ETI/SER XIP
computer. This is normal and does not affect the effectiveness of the
heat-sink.
FR Installation du dissipateur de chaleur
Aligner sur le côté droit du dissipateur le bord droit de l’ETI/SER XIP
(Figure 1).
Remarque.
a - Le bord arrière du dissipateur doit être aligné avec le bord supérieur
de l’ETI/SER XIP.
b - La rainure de la partie inférieure du dissipateur devrait se trouver au-
dessus des LEDS (Figura 2).
Amener le bord gauche du dissipateur contre le bord gauche de l’ETI/
SER XIP (Figure 3).
Pousser fort le dissipateur contre l’ETI/SER XIP ; un “clic” indique que le
dissipateur est installé correctement.
Remarque.
Un petit espace entre dissipateur et ETI/SER XIP est normal et n’influence
pas l’efficacité de fonctionnement du dissipateur.
NL Installatie van de warmte-afleider
Breng de rechterkant van de warmte-afleider op dezelfde hoogte als de
rechterrand van de ETI/SER XIP (Fig. 1).
Opmerking.
a - De rand aan de achterkant van de warmte-afleider moet zich op
dezelfde hoogte bevinden als de bovenste rand van de ETI/SER XIP.
b - De gleuf op de onderkant van de warmte-afleider moet zich boven de
LED’s bevinden (Fig. 2).
Breng de linkerkant van de warmte-afleider op dezelfde hoogte als de
linkerrand van de ETI/SER XIP (Fig. 3).
Druk de warmte-afleider stevig tegen de ETI/SER XIP.Wanneer u een“klik”
hoort, dan is de warmte-afleider correct geïnstalleerd.
Opmerking.
Het is normaal dat er zich een kleine opening bevindt tussen de warmte-
afleider en de ETI/SER XIP. Dit beïnvloedt de werking van de warmte-
afleider op geen enkele manier.

When the equipment reaches the end of its life cycle, take measures to
ensure it is not discarded in the environment.
The equipment must be disposed of in compliance with the regulations in
force, recycling its component parts wherever possible.
Components that qualify as recyclable waste feature the relevant symbol
and the material’s abbreviation.
ELIMINATION
S’assurer que le matériel d’emballage n’est pas abandonné dans la nature et
qu’il est éliminé conformément aux normes en vigueur dans le pays d’uti-
lisation du produit.
À la fin du cycle devie de l’appareil, faire en sorte qu’il ne soit pas abandonné
dans la nature.
L’appareil doit être éliminé conformément aux normes en vigueur et en pri-
vilégiant le recyclage de ses pièces.
Le symbole et le sigle du matériau sont indiqués sur les pièces pour les-
quelles le recyclage est prévu.
AFDANKING
Zorg ervoor dat het materiaal van de verpakking niet in het milieu terecht-
komt, maar afgedankt wordt volgens de wetgeving die van kracht is in het
land waar het product gebruikt wordt.
Vermijd dat het toestel aan het einde van haar levensduur in het milieu
terechtkomt.
Het toestel moet afgedankt worden in overstemming met de geldende
wetgeving. Geef voorkeur aan het recyclen van de onderdelen.
Op de onderdelen die gerecycled kunnen worden is het symbool en de
afkorting van het materiaal aangebracht.
