YewdaleDefiant®Motor Relay (980014)
Operation Instruction:
The maximum running time for a motor is five minutes. The delay between
switching up and down is 0.5 seconds. Program the wireless motors to a Smart
Home Device individually.
Designating motors a channel on the remote control:
The receiver’s
pilot light will
flash slowly for
ten seconds.
The receiver’s light
will flash 3 times.
Programming was
successful.
Press the program button
on the corresponding
programming motor on
the receiver.
Press the LEFT or RIGHT
directional arrow buttons
on the remote to choose the
channel you wish to program.
The channel you select will
light up as you scroll through
the channels on the remote.
Once you have
selected the
channel, press the
UP button.
To tell the receiver which motor you wish to control with the remote, and
on what channel, follow these instructions.

Changing the direction of travel of the blind:
The receiver’s
pilot light will
flash slowly for
ten seconds.
The receiver’s light
will flash 3 times,
confirming the
direction has been
changed correctly.
Press the button on the
receiver that corresponds
with the motor you wish
to adjust. The receiver’s
pilot light will flash slowly
for ten seconds.
Press the LEFT or RIGHT
directional arrow buttons
on the remote to choose the
channel you wish to adjust.
Press the DOWN
button.
Sometimes it is possible for the motor on the blind to be fitted upside down,
which means that the UP and DOWN buttons on the remote are inverted. These
instructions will tell you how to change this. This is not always necessary.

Delete single channel memory:
Delete all memories on all channels:
The light will flash
for ten seconds.
The light will flash
for ten seconds.
The receiver’s light
will flash three times.
The receiver’s light
will flash 3 times and
then flash 3 times
again 7 seconds later.
Press the button on the
receiver that corresponds
with the motor you wish
to adjust.
Press the button on the
receiver that corresponds
with the motor you wish to
delete all memories from.
Press the directional
buttons on remote control
to select the channel you
wish to delete.
Press the directional
buttons on remote control
to select the channel you
wish to delete.
Press PROG for 1
second.
Press PROG for 7
seconds.
