For your comfort and safety, take a few moments to adjust your seat. In the
ideal position, your leg should be slightly bent when the pedal is furthest.
Loosen the thumb wheel located behind the seat and adjust its height to your
liking.
Sometimes you have to peel off the rubber part slightly.
Test several configurations to determine your favorite position.
Adjust your seat
Before you start using your vehicle and especially if you are going into traffic; It
is very important to properly adjust your mirrors and to adapt their position to
your driving posture.
Operate the ball joints of the mirrors to find the right viewing angle
corresponding to your size.
Adjust your wing mirrors
Check your lights
Your Yokler X has lights at the front (1) and at the rear (2).
The rear lights are always on when the battery is connected, to ensure your
safety. The front light comes on on the handlebars (red button). The flashing
lights are also located on the handlebars; be sure to return them to the central
position after use.
Check that all the lights are working before moving.
Check your brakes
We invite you to test your brakes first gently then simulating an emergency stop
to familiarize yourself with their use.
To use the Park & Lock, brake very hard with the front brake then gently press
on the cylinder. If the cylinder does not sink, tighten the brake lever harder.
To unlock your vehicle, brake hard and use the key provided by turning it in the
cylinder. If the key does not turn, brake even harder.
About the horn

Using the battery and its charger
Check that the speed is at the highest
Take control of your Yokler
Your Yokler's 720Wh batteries are supplied with a 4A fast charger.
Just connect the charger to the battery.
The charger plugs into a standard household outlet.
The duration of a full recharge is 4 hours.
The Battery Management System ensures the safety and longevity of
your battery. When the battery is full, charging stops automatically
(the charger LED lights up green).
To start, check that the gearbox is at the highest.
It is
very important
not to pedal when you change the gears at the
risk of breaking the gearbox. To change gears, stop pedaling and
gently turn the lever.
Downshifting before stopping
is also a reflex that will greatly
simplify driving.
Start the engine
To start your engine, press the power button on your handlebars for
a few seconds. You have three assistance modes.
Choose the desired assistance using the + and - buttons. We
recommend using speed 3. The engine will start automatically when
you pedal.
On the on-board computer you have access to several information
such as your speed, assistance level or time.
Cleaning and maintenance :
Windshield: Yokler recommends that you use a clean cloth and
soapy water. Please note that an aggressive solvent-based product
may scratch or cloud your windshield.
Tires: Yokler recommends a pressure of 3.2 bar at the front and 2.9
bar at the rear on each tire. Check the spokes of the wheels. No
spoke should be broken or stretched.
It is also important to maintain and monitor regularly (every month
or 500km) some elements of your vehicle such as the front and
rear chains, the headset and the brakes.

When you receive your vehicle, your batteries are not
fully charged; we advise you to charge them. You will
find the charge indicator on the top of the battery by
pressing the power button.
Once charged, insert your battery into the hatch
provided for this purpose by lifting the seat part of the
seat cushion.
Connect it by linking it to the harness then place the
battery on the floor provided for this purpose.
To access the trunk you must raise the sliding back
plate.
To do this, release the anchor (1) then lift the plate using
the handle provided for this purpose (A) and placing
your other hand in the middle of the panel (B).
To close your trunk, accompany the downward
movement using your two hands.
Do not forget to replace the anchor (2).
It is in the trunk that you will find all the options supplied
with your vehicle.
Use the magic seat
To transform your velotaxi into a cargobike, all you have
to do is raise the magic seat.
Lift the seat by unlocking the upper part (1) then pull on
the tab (2) to easily raise your seat. You hear a 'clack'.
Once in the high position, lock it by rotating the latch (3)
provided for this purpose.
The trunk can now accommodate up to 600 liters.
To return to the velotaxi position, move the latch to the
initial position and accompany the descent of the seat
while holding the tongue. You can welcome passengers
again.
To install the covers, insert the grey rod of the covers
into the rail installed on the arches of your Yokler X.
Insert the metal hook into the small hole on the floor
plates to hold the tarps.
To remove them, you just need to recover the hook and
remove the rod from the rail.
For greater longevity, fold the tarpaulins correctly on
themselves and store them in the cover provided.
