It is most important that this instruction book should be
retained with the appliance for future reference. Should
the appliance be sold or transferred to another owner, or
should you move house and leave the appliance, always
ensure that the book is left with the appliance in order that
the new owner can get to know the functioning of the
appliance and the relevant safety information.
This information has been provided in the interest of your
safety. You MUST read it carefully before installing or
using the appliance.
Installation
●Check your dishwasher for any trans ort damage. Never
connect a damaged machine. If your dishwasher is
damaged, you should contact your su lier.
●For safety reasons it is dangerous to alter the s ecifications
or attem t to modify this roduct in any way.
●Any electrical and lumbing work required to install this
a liance should be carried out by a qualified and
com etent erson.
●Care must be taken to ensure that the a liance does not
stand on the electrical su ly cable.
●The sides of the dishwasher must never be drilled to
revent damage to hydraulic com onents.
Child safety
●This a liance is designed to be o erated by adults.
●Children should not be allowed to tam er with the controls
or lay with the roduct.
●Packaging arts may be dangerous for children, who could
even be suffocated! You should therefore kee all
ackaging well away from children.
●The water in your dishwasher is not for drinking. Detergent
residues may still be resent in your machine. Kee
children well away from your dishwasher when the door is
o en.
●Kee all detergents in a safe lace out of children's reach.
Your dishwasher in day-to-day use
●Items that are contaminated by etrol, aint, steel or iron
debris, corrosive, acidic or alkaline chemicals must not be
washed in this dishwasher.
●Under no circumstances should you o en the door whilst
the a liance is in o eration, es ecially during the washing
hase, hot water may esca e. However, if the door is
o ened, a safety device ensures that the machine sto s.
●Only use roducts (detergent, salt and rinse aid) s ecifically
designed for use in dishwashers.
●Long bladed knives stored in an u right osition are a
otential hazard.
●Long and/or shar items of cutlery such as carving knives
must be ositioned horizontally in the u er basket.
●When finishing loading or unloading close the door, as an
o en door can be a hazard.
●Do not sit or stand on the o en door.
●Isolate the a liance from the ower su ly and turn off the
water su ly after use.
●This roduct should be serviced by an authorised service
engineer, and only genuine s are arts should be used.
●Under no circumstances should you attem t to re air the
machine yourself. Re airs carried out by inex erienced
ersons may cause injury or serious malfunctioning.
Contact your local Service Force Centre. Always insist on
genuine s are arts.
Disposal
Dis ose of the dishwasher ackaging material correctly.
All ackaging materials can be recycled.
Plastic arts are marked with standard international
abbreviations:
>PE< for olyethylene, e.g. sheet wra ing material.
>PS< for olystyrene, e.g. adding material (always CFC-
free).
>POM< for olyoxymethylene, e.g. lastic cli s.
Cardboard ackaging is manufactured from recycled a er
and should be de osited in the waste a er collection for
recycling.
As and when you cease to use your dishwasher and withdraw
it from service, your should render it unserviceable before
having it dis osed of.
Warning! Children at lay could lock themselves in your
dishwasher or otherwise endanger their lives. Therefore cut off
the ower su ly cable and make the door closing device
unusable to revent children from being tra ed inside.
For the dis osing of the a liance lease take it to a recycling
centre or to your dealer who will, for a small contribution to the
costs, dis ose it for you.
Economical and
ecological dishwashing
●Ensure that the water softener is correctly adjusted.
●Do not re-wash under running water.
●Select the wash rogramme to suit the nature and degree of
the soiling on the dishes.
●Do not use more detergent, s ecial salt and rinse aid than is
recommended in these o erating instructions and by the
manufacturer of the res ective roduct.

Description of the appliance
IN147
Function push buttons: in addition to the dishwashing
rogramme selected, the following functions can also be set
with the hel of these buttons.
"Delay start" push button: this o tion allows the start
of the rogramme to be delayed by 3, 6 or 9 hours.
Indicator lights: have the following meanings:
The salt and rinse aid indicator lights are never illuminated
while a washing rogramme is running even if filling with salt
and rinse aid is necessary.
Phase indicator lights: have the following meanings:
As soon as you select a washing rogramme, the hase
indicator lights for that rogramme will start flashing.
As the rogramme starts, the hase indicator lights turn off
exce t for the indicator light of the hase in rogress which will
remain lit with a static light.

Before using your dishwasher for the first time:
1. Ensure that the electrical and water connections com ly
with the installation instructions.
2. Remove all ackaging from inside the a liance.
3. Set the water softener.
4. Pour 1 litre of water inside the salt container and then fill
with salt.
5. Fill the rinse aid dis enser.
6. Run a "Rinse and Hold" rogramme.
Setting the water softener
The dishwasher is equi ed with a water softener designed to
remove minerals and salts from the water su ly, which would
have a detrimental or adverse effect on the o eration of the
a liance.
The higher the content of these salts, the harder your water is.
Water hardness is measured in equivalent scales, Clarke
degrees, French degrees and PPM ( arts er Million).
The softener should be adjusted according to the hardness of
the water in your area. Your local Water Authority can advise
you on the hardness of the water in your area.
The water softener must be set in both ways: manually, using
the water hardness switch and electronically, using the function
ush buttons on the control anel.
If your water is level 1 it is already soft and therefore there
is no need to use salt.
Setting manually
1. O en the dishwasher door.
2. Remove the lower basket from the dishwasher.
3. Turn the water hardness switch to osition 1 or 2 (see
table).
4. Re lace the lower basket.
The dishwasher is factory set
at osition 2.
Setting electronically
The dishwasher is factory set at level 3. If it’s necessary to set
a new level, roceed as follows.
1. With the dishwasher switched off ress function ush
buttons 1and 2simultaneously .
2. While kee ing the ush buttons 1and 2ressed switch on
the dishwasher by ressing the On/Off ush button.
The On/Off indicator light comes on.
At the same time, the indicator lights of ush buttons 1and
2start flashing.
3. Press ush button 1, the indicator light of ush button 2
turns off, while the indicator light of ush button 1remains
fixed for about 5 seconds, after this it starts flashing
indicating the current level of the water softener.
The current level is indicated by the number of flashes
made by the indicator light of ush button 1, that alternates
5 seconds off with a number of flashes, this for about 60
seconds.
Example:
1 flash = level 1
2 flashes = level 2
3 flashes = level 3
4 flashes = level 4
5 flashes = level 5
4. To change the level, ress ush button 1. Each time the
ush button is ressed the level changes.
Exam le:
if the current level is 3, by ressing ush button 1once,
level 4 is selected.
if the current level is 5, by ressing ush button 1once,
level 1 is selected.
The indicator light of ush button 1remains off for about 5
seconds after which it starts flashing indicating the new
level selected.
5. To memorise the new level, switch off the dishwasher by
ressing the On/Off ush button.

Filling with salt
Special salt can be added in one of two ways:
●If you are using dishwasher detergent that already contains
salt, the detergent including the salt is laced in the
detergent com artment.
- In this case the water softener must manually be set to 1
and electronically to 1 to ensure that the s ecial salt is
taken from the detergent container only.
●If you are using dishwasher detergent and salt se arately,
the s ecial salt is to be ut into the salt container.
- In this case the water softener must manually be set to 1
or 2 and electronically between 1 and 5 (de ending on
the water hardness in your area) to ensure that the
s ecial salt is taken from the salt container only.
Only use salt specifically designed for use in
dishwashers.
All other types of salt not specifically designed for use in
a dishwasher, especially table salt, will damage the water
softener.
Only fill with salt just before starting one of the washing
programmes.
This will prevent any grains of salt or salty water, which
may have been spilt, remaining on the bottom of the
machine for any period of time, which may cause
corrosion.
To fill:
1. O en the door, remove the lower basket and unscrew the
ca of the salt container by turning it anticlockwise.
2. Pour 1 litre of water inside the container (this is necessary
only before filling with salt for the first time).
3. Using the funnel rovided,
our in the salt until the
container is full.
4. Re lace the ca making
sure that there is no trace
of salt on the screw thread
or on the gasket.
5. Screw on the ca tightly
turning it clockwise until it
sto s with a click.
The salt container will require to ing u eriodically. You are
reminded of this by the salt indicator light on the control anel
which comes on when the salt has finished.
Do not worry if water over flows from the unit when filling with
salt, this is quite normal.
The salt indicator light on the control panel can remain
illuminated for 2-6 hours after the salt has been
replenished, assuming the dishwasher remains switched
on. If you are using salts that take longer to dissolve then
this can take longer. The function of the machine is not
affected.
Rinse aid
Rinse aid is automatically added during the last rinse, ensuring
thorough rinsing, and s ot and streak free drying. The
dis enser, which is ositioned inside the door, holds about 110
ml of rinse aid, which is sufficient for 16 - 40 dishwashing
rogrammes, de ending u on the dosage setting.
Rinse aid can be added in one of two ways:
●If you are using dishwasher detergent that already contains
rinse aid, the detergent including the rinse aid is laced in
the detergent com artment.
- In this case the rinse aid com artment must be em ty
and the rinse aid indicator light deactivated.
If in the rinse aid dis enser there is still rinse aid you
must wait until it has finished before using detergent that
contains rinse aid.
●If you are using dishwasher detergent and rinse aid
se arately, the rinse aid is to be ut into the rinse aid
dis enser.
- In this case the rinse aid dosage must be set in osition
from 1 to 6 (see "Adjusting the dose") and the rinse aid
indicator light activated.
Filling with rinse aid
(Rinse aid dispenser type A)
1. O en the container by ressing the release button (A).
2. Fill with rinse aid exactly u to the level marked "MAX".
Ensure that the lid is closed after every refill.
Adjusting the dose
According to the finish and drying results obtained, adjust the
dose of rinse aid by means of the 6 osition selector ( osition
1 minimum dosage, osition 6 maximum dosage).
Increase the dose if there are dro s of water or lime s ots on
the dishes after washing.
The dose is factory set in
osition 4.
Reduce it if there are sticky
whitish streaks on the dishes.

Filling with rinse aid
(Rinse aid dispenser type B)
1. O en the container by turning the lid (A) anticlockwise.
2. Add the rinse aid until the container is com letely full. The
indicator (B) will be com letely dark.
Ensure that the lid is closed after every refill.
Adjusting the dose
According to the finish and drying results obtained, adjust the
dose of rinse aid by means of the 6 osition selector (C)
( osition 1 minimum dosage, osition 6 maximum dosage).
Increase the dose if there are
dro s of water or lime s ots
on the dishes after washing.
The dose is factory set in
osition 5.
Reduce it if there are sticky
whitish streaks on the dishes.
Clean u any rinse aid s ilt during filling with an absorbent
cloth to avoid excess foaming during the next wash.
Only use branded rinse aid for dishwashers. Never fill the rinse
aid dis enser with any other substances (e.g. dishwasher
cleaning agent, liquid detergent). This would damage the
a liance.
To u the rinse aid when the rinse aid indicator light on the
control anel illuminates.
It is ossible to deactivate the rinse aid indicator light (see the
following instructions).
To deactivate the rinse aid indicator
light proceed as follows:
(the dishwasher must be switched off)
1. Press function ush buttons 1and 2simultaneously.
2. While kee ing the function ush buttons 1 and 2ressed
switch on the dishwasher by ressing the On/Off ush
button.
The On/Off indicator light comes on.
At the same time, the indicator lights of ush buttons
1and 2 start flashing.
3. Press function ush button 2, the corres onding indicator
light kee s flashing while the indicator light of ush button
1turns off. At the same time the rinse aid indicator light
starts to flash.
4. Press ush button 2again, the rinse aid indicator light turns
off, this means that the rinse aid indicator light has been
deactivated.
5. To memorise the o eration, switch off the dishwasher by
ressing the On/Off ush button.
To reactivate the rinse aid indicator light follow the same
rocess until the rinse aid indicator light starts to flash.

●Check if it’s necessary to refill with s ecial salt or rinse aid
●Load cutlery and dishes into the dishwasher.
●Fill with dishwasher detergent .
●Select a wash rogramme suitable for the cutlery and
dishes.
●Start the wash rogramme.
Loading cutlery and dishes
Sponges, household cloths and any object that can
absorb water may not be washed in the dishwasher.
●Before loading the dishes, you should:
- Remove large left-overs.
- Soften remnants of burnt food in ans
●When loading the dishes and cutlery, lease note:
- Dishes and cutlery must not im ede the rotation of the
s ray arms .
- Load hollow items such as cu s, glasses, ans, etc. with
the o ening downwards so that water cannot collect in the
container or a dee base.
- Dishes and items of cutlery must not lie inside one
another, or cover each other.
- To avoid damage to glasses, they must not touch.
- Lay small objects in the cutlery basket.
O en the door and slide out the baskets to load the dishes.
The lower basket
The lower basket is designed to take sauce ans, lids, lates,
salad bowls, cutlery etc.
Serving dishes and large lids should be arranged around the
edge of the basket, ensuring
that the u er s ray arm can
turn freely.
The cutlery basket
Long bladed knives stored in an upright position are a
potential hazard.
Long and/or sharp items of cutlery such as carving knives
must be positioned horizontally in the upper basket.
Take care when loading or unloading sharp items such as
knives.
Removable knife basket
Long and/or shar items of cutlery such as carving knives must
be laced horizontally in the removable knife basket, which is
ositioned at the rear of the u er basket.
Cutlery should be laced in the removable cutlery basket with
the handles facing downwards. If the handles rotrude from
the bottom of the basket, obstructing the lower s ray arm, load
the cutlery with the handles facing u wards.
Mix s oons with other cutlery to revent them from sticking
together.
In daily use
For washing in the dishwasher the following cutlery/dishes
are of limited suitability:
- Only wash stoneware in the dishwasher if it is s ecifically
marked as being dishwasher-safe by the manufacturer.
- Glazed atterns may fade if machine washed frequently
- Silver and aluminium arts have a tendency to discolour
during washing. Left-overs, e.g. egg white, egg yolk and
mustard often cause discolouring and staining on silver.
Therefore always clean left-overs from silver immediately, if
it is not to be washed straight after use.
- Some ty es of glass can become dull after a large number
of washes
are not suitable:
- Cutlery with wooden, horn, china or
mother-of- earl handles
- Plastic items that are not heat resistant
- Older cutlery with glued arts that is not
tem erature resistant
- Bonded cutlery items or dishes
- Pewter or co er items
- Lead crystal glass
- Steel items subject to rusting
- Wooden latters
- Items made from synthetic fibres

For best results we

The cutlery basket is in two

To reassemble, reverse the
rocedure.
The upper basket
The u er basket is designed for lates (dessert lates,
saucers, dinner lates of u to 25 cm in diameter), salad
bowls, cu s and glasses.
Arrange items on and
underneath the cu racks so
that water can reach all
surfaces.
Glasses with long stems can
be laced u side down in the
cu racks.
Light items ( lastic bowls
etc.) must be loaded in the
u er basket and arranged
so they do not move.
In case that plates are loaded in the upper
basket:
load them starting from the
rear positions of the
basket; tilting them slightly
forwards and avoiding the
front positions near the
door.
Before closing the door, ensure that the spray arms can
rotate freely.
Adjusting the height of the upper basket
If washing very large lates you can load them in the lower
basket after moving the u er basket to the higher osition.
To move to the higher position proceed as
follows:
1. Move the front runner sto s (A) of the u er basket
outwards and slide the basket out.
2. Refit the basket in the higher osition and re lace the sto s
(A) in their original osition.
After loading your machine always close the door, as an
open door can be a hazard.

Use of detergent
Only use detergents specifically designed for use in
dishwashers.
Using no more then the correct amount of detergent
contributes to reducing pollution.
Prior to the start of a wash rogramme. The detergent is
released during the washing hase.
Please observe the manufacturer’s dosing and storage
recommendations as stated on the detergent ackaging.
Fill with detergent
(Detergent dispenser type A)
1. If the lid is closed: ress release button (1).
The lid s rings o en.
2. Fill the detergent dis enser with detergent.
The marking indicates the dosing levels:
20 = a roximately 20 ml of detergent
30 = a roximately 30 ml of detergent
3. Close the lid and ress until it locks in lace.
Fill with detergent
(Detergent dispenser type A)
1. If the lid is closed: o en the dis enser by ulling the catch
(D). The lid s rings o en.
2. Fill the detergent
dis enser with detergent.
The marking indicates the

Use of "3 in 1" combi detergent tablets
eneral advice
These roducts are tablets with combined detergent/rinse-aid
and salt functions.
1. Before using these roducts you should first check that the
water hardness in your su ly is com atible with the use of
these roducts as er the detergent manufacturers (on the
roduct ackaging).
2. These roducts should be strictly used according to the
detergent manufacturers instructions.
Do not place the tablets in the tub or in the cutlery
basket as this will result in poorer wash results. The
tablets should be placed in the detergent dispenser.
3. If you encounter roblems when using 3 in 1 roducts for
the first time then lease contact the detergent
manufacturers care line (the tele hone number is given on
the roduct ackaging).
Special advice
When using combination roducts, the rinse-aid and salt
indicators are no longer useful. It may be hel ful therefore to
switch the rinse aid off - lease note that only some
dishwashers have this facility - and select the lowest ossible
setting for water hardness.
For more information lease refer to the instruction manual.
If you decide to turn back to the use of the standard detergent
system we advise that you:
●Refill both the salt container and rinse aid dis enser.
●Switch the water hardness setting to the highest ossible
osition and run a normal washing rogramme without a
load.
●Readjust the water hardness setting again according to the
hardness of the water in your area.
Concentrated detergent
Based on their chemical com osition, dishwasher detergents
can be s lit into two basic ty es:
- conventional, alkaline detergents with caustic com onents.
- low alkaline concentrated detergents with natural enzymes.
The use of 50°C washing rogrammes in conjunction with
concentrated detergents reduces ollution and is good for your
dishes; these wash rogrammes are s ecially matched to the
dirt-dissolving ro erties of the enzymes in the concentrated
detergent. For this reason 50°C wash rogrammes in which
concentrated detergents are used can achieve the same
results that can otherwise only be achieved using 65°C
rogrammes.
Detergent tablets
Detergent tablets of different brands dissolve at different
s eeds. For this reason some detergent tablets cannot
develo their full cleaning ower during short rogrammes.
Therefore lease use normal rogrammes with rewash when
using detergent tablets.

This is the erfect daily rogramme, made to meet the needs of a family of 4 persons who only wish to load breakfast
and dinner crockery and cutlery.
(2) Testing rogramme for EN 50242 (see "Hints for Test Centres). This rogramme, develo ed for the use of detergents with
enzymes, allows you to achieve, with reduced consum tion of energy the same cleaning results that would otherwise be
obtained only with the 65°C rogrammes and conventional detergents. To com ensate the lower tem erature, the duration of
the rogramme has been extended.
(3) The consum tion values are intended as a guide and de ends on the ressure and the tem erature of the water and also by
the variations of the ower su ly.

The On/Off indicator light will come on.
5. Setting and starting the programme
Press the ush button corres onding to the required
rogramme (see "Washing rogrammes" chart).
The indicator light corres onding to the rogramme
illuminates and the hase indicator lights foreseen for
that rogramme start flashing.
It is ossible to change the rogramme selection sim ly
ressing the ush button of another rogramme within 6
seconds.
Once the rogramme has started the hase indicator
lights will turn off exce t for the hase under way.
6. Interrupting/cancelling a washing
programme
Change or interrupt a washing programme in
progress ONLY if it’s absolutely necessary

To cancel a washing programme
A rogramme in rogress can be cancelled at any time.
Press for about 3 seconds the ush button of the running
rogramme until all indicator lights are off.
Only the On/Off indicator light will remain illuminated.
It is now ossible to select a new washing rogramme.
7. Setting/cancelling the "Delay start"
The setting of the delay start occurs before selecting
the programme.
Setting the "Delay start"
Press the "delay start" ush button until the indicator light
corres onding to the chosen hours flashes (3, 6 or 9
hours).
Press the ush button corres onding to the required
washing rogramme; the indicator light corres onding to
the rogramme illuminates and the hase indicator lights
for that rogramme start flashing.
From the moment that the washing rogramme has been
set, the delay start will begin with the countdown.
The countdown will decrease with ste of 3 hours.
During the countdown, the indicator light of the selected
rogramme and the indicator light of the number of hours
to the start of the rogramme will remain illuminated.
Once the delay start has ela sed the rogramme will
start automatically, the indicator lights for delay start turn
off and the indicator light of the hase underway
illuminates.
Cancelling the "delay start"
It is ossible to cancel a countdown in rogress or before
it starts, sim ly ressing the delay start ush button until
the indicator lights corres onding to the delay start hours
are off.
In this case the selected washing rogramme will start
automatically after 6 seconds.
8. End of the washing programme
The dishwasher will automatically sto and the end of
programme hase indicator light will illuminate.
The indicator light of the rogramme just ended will
remain on.
The dishwasher has finished the rogramme only when
the end of programme indicator light is illuminated.
If you do not wait for the end of the rogramme it will not
be ossible to start a new rogramme until the revious
rogramme has been cancelled.
(For instructions on how to cancel a rogramme see the
corres onding instructions).
If during the drying hase (drying indicator light
illuminated) the dishwasher door is o ened or the On/Off
ush button is ressed, the running rogramme is
automatically cancelled and the machine returns to
setting mode (in this case it is ossible to select a new
rogramme without cancelling the revious)
Switch off the dishwasher by ressing the On/Off ush
button, the On/Off indicator light turns off.
Hot steam may esca e from the a liance when o ening
the door immediately after the end of the rogramme,
therefore, open the door carefully.
Unloading the dishwasher
Hot dishes are sensitive to knocks. The dishes should
therefore be allowed to cool down before removing from
the a liance.
Leave the dishes in the dishwasher for a rox. 15
minutes, with the door ajar, after the end of rogramme
so that they dry better and will be cooler.
Em ty the lower basket first and then the u er one; this
will avoid water dri ing from the u er basket onto the
dishes in the lower one.
When the washing programme has finished, it is
recommended that the dishwasher is unplugged and the
water tap turned off.
Starting a washing programme

Clean the external surfaces of the machine and control anel
with a dam soft cloth. If necessary use only neutral
detergents. Never use abrasive roducts, scouring ads or
solvent (acetone, trichloroethylene etc....).
Ensure that the seals around the door, the detergent and rinse
aid dis ensers are cleaned regularly with a dam cloth.
We recommend every 3 months to run a 65°C wash
rogramme without dishes using detergent.
Cleaning the filters
The filters in the base of the washing com artment are to a
large extent self-cleaning. Nevertheless the filters should be
checked and cleaned from time to time. Dirty filters will
degrade the washing result.
1. O en the door, remove the lower basket.
2. The dishwasher filter
system com rises a
coarse/fine filter (A/B), a
microfilter (C) and a flat
filter (D).
Unlock the filter system
using the handle on the
microfilter, and remove.
3. Turn the handle about
1/4a turn anticlockwise
and remove.
4. Take hold of the
coarse/fine filter (A/B) by
the handle with the hole and
remove from the microfilter (C).
5. Clean all filters thoroughly under running water.
6. Remove the flat filter (D) from the base of the washing
com artment and clean both faces thoroughly.
7. Put the flat filter back in the base of the washing
com artment.
8. Place the coarse/fine filter in the microfilter and ress
together.
9. Put the filter combination in lace and lock by turning the
handle clockwise to the sto . During this rocess ensure
that the flat filter does not rotrude above the base of the
washing com artment.
Under no circumstances may the dishwasher be used
without filters.
To ensure a correct
working of the dishwasher,
NEVER try to remove the
upper spray arm.
If residues of soil have
clogged the holes in the
u er s ray arm, remove
them with a tooth ick.
Check that the SID is not clogged with detergent residue. If
necessary rinse it under running water after having removed it
from the basket by twisting it anticlockwise and ulling it
u wards.
Never use your dishwasher
without the SID dispenser.
Since SID also ensures
correct distribution of the
water to the upper spray
arm, running the
dishwasher without it will
impair the washing results.
Prolonged periods of non-operation
If you are not using the machine for any eriod of time you are
advised to:
1. Un lug the a liance and then turn off the water.
2. Fill the rinse aid dis enser.
3. Leave the door ajar to revent the formation of any
un leasant smells.
4. Leave the inside of the machine clean.
Frost precautions
Avoid lacing the machine in a location where the tem erature
is below 0°C. If this is unavoidable, em ty the machine, close
the a liance door, disconnect the water inlet i e and em ty
it.
Moving the machine
If you have to move the machine (moving house etc....):
1. Un lug it.
2. Turn the water ta off.
3. Remove the water inlet and discharge hoses.
4. Pull the machine out together with the hoses.
Avoid over tilting the machine during trans ortation.

...a flashing fault code appears
The dishwasher will not start or sto s during o eration. All ush buttons are ino erative exce t for the On/Off ush button and a
combination of indicator lights, as indicated in the following chart, are flashing. Press the On/Off ush button to switch the
dishwasher off and carry out the following suggested corrective actions.
Important: If you call out an engineer to a fault listed below or to re air a fault caused by incorrect use or installation a charge will
be made, even if the a liance is in guarantee
Once the checks have been carried out, ress the On/Off ush button, the rogramme will continue from the oint in which it was
interru ted. If the fault code rea ears contact the Service Force Centre.

The dishes are not clean
●The wrong washing rogramme has been selected.
●The dishes were arranged in such a way as to sto water reaching all arts of the surface. The baskets must not be overloaded.
●The s ray arms do not rotate freely due to wrong arrangement of the load.
●The filters in the base of the washing com artment are dirty or incorrectly ositioned.
●Too little or no detergent has been used.
●Where there are limescales de osits on the dishes; the salt container is em ty or the wrong level of the water softener has been
selected.
●The drain hose connection is not correct.
●The salt container ca is not ro erly closed.
The dishes are wet and dull
●Rinse aid was not used.
●The rinse aid dis enser is em ty.
There are streaks, milky spots or a bluish coating on glasses and dishes
●Decrease rinse aid dosing.
Water drops have dried onto glasses and dishes
●Increase rinse aid dosing.
●The detergent may be the cause. Contact the detergent manufacturer’s consumer care line.
If after all these checks, the roblem ersists, contact your
local Service Force Centre, quoting the model (Mod.), roduct
number (PNC) and serial number (S.N.).

Standard guarantee conditions
We, Zanussi, undertake that if within 12 months of the date of
urchase this Zanussi a liance or any art thereof is roved
to be defective by reason only of faulty workmanshi or
materials, we will, at our o tion re air or re lace the same
FREE OF CHARGE for labour, materials or carriage on
condition that:
●The a liance has been correctly installed and used only on
the electricity su ly stated on the rating late.
●The a liance has been used for normal domestic ur oses
only, and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
●The a liance has not been serviced, maintained re aired,
taken a art or tam ered with by any erson not authorised

Installation instructions
Any electrical and/or plumbing work required to install
this appliance should be carried out by a qualified
electrician and/or plumber or competent person.
Remove all ackaging before ositioning the machine.
If ossible, osition the machine next to a water ta and a
drain.
Fitting under a counter
(kitchen workto or sink)
By removing the machine’s workto , you can install it under a
close fitting sink unit or a re-existing to , roviding the
dimensions of the recess corres ond to those shown in the
icture.
Proceed as follows:
Remove the machine’s workto by unscrewing the two rear
retaining screws, ull from the front and slide out the rear
slots, lifting the workto .
Insert the machine after adjusting height and levelling with the
adjustable feet. When inserting the machine, ensure that the
water inlet and drain hoses are not kinked or squashed.
If the dishwasher is later used as a free-standing a liance,
the original workto must be re-mounted.
The linth on free-standing a liances is not adjustable.
Levelling
Good levelling is essential for correct closure and sealing of
the door.
When the a liance is correctly levelled, the door will not catch
on either side of the cabinet.
If the door does not close correctly, loosen or tighten the
adjustable feet until the machine is erfectly level.
Water supply connections
This dishwasher must be lumbed into a cold water su ly.
The dishwasher is fitted with safety devices that revent the
wash water returning into the drinking water system and
com ly with the a licable lumbing regulations.
The water ressure must be within the limits given in the
"Technical s ecifications". Your local Water Authority will
advise you on the average mains ressure in your area.
The dishwasher features fill and drain hoses which can be
turned either to the left or the right to suit the installation.
The locknut must be correctly fitted to avoid water leaks.
The water inlet hose must not be kinked, crushed, or entangled
when it is being connected u .
Do not use, for connection, old hoses which have been
used in another appliance.
If the machine is connected to new i es or i es which have
not been used for a long time, you should run the water for a
few minutes before connecting the inlet hose.
Water outlet hose connection
The end of the drain hose can be connected in the following
ways:
1. To the sink outlet s igot, securing it to the underside of the
work surface. This will revent waste water from the sink
running into the machine.
2. Hooked over the edge of the sink using the s ecial curved
lastic guide rovided.
3. To a stand i e rovided with vent-hole, minimum internal
diameter 4 cm.
The waste connection must be at a height of between 30 cm
(minimum) and 100 cm (maximum) from the bottom of the
dishwasher.
The drain hose can face either to the right or left of the
dishwasher
Ensure the hose is not bent or squashed as this could revent
or slow down the discharge of water.
The sink lug must not be in lace when the machine is
draining as this could cause the water to si hon back into the
machine.
If you use a drain hose extension it must be no longer than 2
metres and its internal diameter must be no smaller than the
diameter of the hose rovided.
Likewise the internal diameter of the cou lings used for
connections to the waste outlet must be no smaller than the
diameter of the hose rovided.
Attention!
Our a liances are su lied with a security device to rotect
against the return of dirty water back into the machine.
If the s igot of your sink has a "no return valve" incor orated
this can revent the correct draining of your dishwasher.
We advise you therefore to remove it.

Electrical connection
This appliance must be earthed.
The manufacturer declines any responsibility should this
safety measure not be observed.
If the lug that is fitted to your a liance is not suitable for the
socket, it must be cut off and the a ro riate lug fitted.
Important
The wires on the mains lead are coloured in accordance with
the following code:
reen and Yellow - Earth
Blue - Neutral
Brown - Live
If you fit your own lug, the colours of the wires in the mains
lead of your a liance may not corres ond with the markings
identifying the terminals in your lug.
Proceed as follows:
1. Connect the Green and Yellow (earth) wire to the terminal
in the lug which is marked with the letter "E" or the earth
symbol or coloured green and yellow.
2. Connect the Blue (neutral) wire to the terminal in the lug
which is marked with the letter "N" or coloured black.
3. Connect the Brown (live) wire to the terminal in the lug
which is marked with the letter "L" or coloured red.
The lug moulded onto the lead incor orates a 13am BSI362
fuse. Only ASTA or BSI fuses should be used.
The lug must not be used if the fuse cover/carrier is lost. The
cover/carrier is indicated by the coloured insert at the base of
the lug.
A re lacement cover/carrier must be obtained from your local
Service Force Centre.
To isolate the dishwasher from mains, remove the mains lug.
Important!
The plug must still be accessible after the appliance has
been installed.
In case that the electrical cable has to be replaced, please
contact your local Service Force Centre.
