BEFORE YOU BEGIN
Working with electricity comes with h ge risks that sho ld never be taken lightly, safety sho ld
always come first.
To avoid personal inj ry, possible damage to eq ipment or danger of fire, all work on electronic eq ipment
sho ld be cond cted following these safety proced res.
General Safety
Before working on any electronics, consider following these basic safety preca tions to help red ce any hazards.
• Remove any electronic eq ipment yo ’re testing or working on from the power so rce.
• Never ass me the power circ it is off. Test and test again with a voltmeter to confirm.
• Remove f ses and replace them only after the power to the circ it is disconnected.
• Don’t connect power to a circ it ntil yo ’re done working on it and rechecked the work.
• Always ens re that all electronics eq ipment is properly gro nded
• If it’s damaged, replace it. For instance, replace cables instead of repairing with ins lating tape.
• Always se the right electronics repair and maintenance tools.
• Always ret rn covers after removing them to red ce the risk of electric shock.
• Make s re yo r circ it is not overloaded.
• Always have safety eq ipment like a fire exting isher, a basic first aid kit and a mobile phone nearby.
Personal Safety
Here are some personal safety preca tions to keep in mind:
• Always keep yo r work area dry.
• Always work in a well-ventilated area.
• Don’t wear flapping or loose clothing when working.
• Don’t work with metallic jewelry on yo r hands like watches, rings and bracelets.
• Always wear non-cond ctive shoes.
• Always remove power to a circ it before connecting alligator clips.
• Always wear safety goggles.
• Be caref l when handling large capacitors as they can still hold high voltage even after yo ’ve
disconnected the circ it from power.

Static Da age Prevention
Static electricity can damage electronic devices and yo r system. To avoid damage, keep static-sensitive
devices in their static-protective bags ntil yo are ready to install them.
To red ce the possibility of electrostatic discharge, observe the following preca tions:
•Limit yo r movement. Movement can ca se static electricity to b ild p aro nd yo .
•Handle the device caref lly, holding it by its edges or frame.
•Do not to ch solder joints, pins, or exposed printed circ itry.
•Do not leave the device where others can handle and possibly damage the device.
•While the device is still in its antistatic bag, to ch it to an npainted metal part of the system nit for at least 2
seconds. (This action removes static electricity from the package and from yo r body).
•Remove the device from its package and install it directly into yo r system, witho t p tting it down. If it is
necessary to p t the device down, place it onto its static-protective bag. (If yo r device is an adapter, place it
component-side p.) Do not place the device onto the cover of the system or onto a metal table.
•Take additional care when yo handle devices d ring cold weather. Indoor h midity tends to decrease in cold
weather, ca sing an increase in static electricity.
Disposal
Observe the approved methods and ordinances of your locality with regard to proper disposal of used
electronic appliances.

Mainboard Asse bly
Install the ATX power s pply (not incl ded) in the Left Side/ATX bracket with the AC Mains power connector to
the bottom of the bracket as shown.
.
Ens re that the retaining bracket on the nderside of the mainboard is oriented with the retaining strip facing
toward the right side of the mainboard and sing the s pplied 3mm hex key loosen the 2 mo nting screws to
allow for it to slide.

Slide retaining bracket to a position where it holds the ATX power s pply in position and lock down the
mmo nting screws.
Extend the mainboard chassis to the width of the cabinet interior by grasping the right side handle handle and
p lling o twards.

Locate the bracket and power s pply in a position that s its the interior of yo r cabinet from the front to the back
and install on the left side of the cabinet leaving a minim m of 2 1/2”-3” from the nderside of the playfield
monitor sing the 6 screws provided.
Mo nt the right side bracket sing the s pplied screws and keeping the kit rails as level as possible.

Optional Power Board Mounting
Mo nt the power board to the mo nting arms sing the provided screws as shown below.
Install the 4mm x 8mm screws and Tn ts.
Slide 2 x M6 Solenoid mo nting Tn ts toward left side of the mainboard and 4 x M6 Solenoid mo nting Tn ts
toward right side on BOTH sides of chassis and install assembly onto mainboard.

Optional AddOn Board Mounting
Slide the mo nting clips onto the board and install on extension rails by 1st hooking the rear tabs to the nderside
of the rail and gently p lling the front tabs o t while lowering onto front rail. It helps to do this in stages by 1st
hooking into the front t slot on both the left and right side and then hooking f rther down to the bottom of the rail
on the left and right sides.
