tothecamera.
zThesensormaybeburnedoutbyalaserbeam,sowhenany
laserequipmentisbeingused,makesurethatthesurfaceof
thesensornotbeexposedtothelaserbeam.
zWhileshipping,thecamerashouldbepackedinitsoriginal
packing.

fromvibrationsourcesasmuchaspossibleduring
mounting.Toenhanceprotection,youcanmountthe
camerainahousing.Selectaproperbracketandhousing
byreferringtothelistofaccessoriesrecommendedbyour
company.

zUseaproperpoweradapter(DC12V2A/AC24V1A)orPoE
powersupplydevice.Improperpoweradaptersmay
damagethecamera.
zBeforeconnectingthepoweradapterandthecamera,
confirmthatthepowersupplyisoff.Neverpoweronthe
poweradapterbeforeconnectingthecamera,orremove
thepowercablefromthedevicewhenthepoweradapter
ispoweredon.
zEnsurethatthehighlevelsignalofalarminputisnot
higherthan5VDCwhenconnectingtothealarminput
interface.
zWhenconnectingtoanexternalinterface,useanexisting
connectionterminal,andensurethatthecableterminal
(latchorclamp)isingoodconditionandproperlyfastened.
Ensurethatthecableisnottenseduringmounting,witha
propermarginreservedtoavoidpoorportcontactor
looseningcausedbyshockorshake.

zTheEthernetopticalinterfaceandelectricalinterface
cannotworksimultaneously.Toswitchtotheelectrical
interface,poweroffthecameraatfirst,thenremovethe
opticalmodule,andfinallyrestartthecameraafter
insertingthecableintotheelectricalinterface.Toswitch
totheopticalinterface,poweroffthecameraatfirst,then
inserttheopticalmodule,andfinallyrestartthecamera
(youdonotneedtoremovetheelectricalinterface,
becausetheopticalporttakesprecedenceinthiscase).
3Installation
MountingtheSFP/EPONOpticalModule(Optional)

zTheEPONopticalmoduleissupportedbysomemodels
oftheproduct.Itcomeswithdelivery.
zTheSFPopticalmoduleissupportedbysomemodelsof
theproduct.Itdoesnotcomewithdelivery,andyou
needtopurchaseitseparately.
zSelectaproperopticalmoduleaccordingtothe
environmenttemperature.Thetemperatureupperlimit
oftheopticalmodulemustbeabletoresistatleast
85°Catleast,whentheEthernetopticalinterfaceis
usedoutdoors.
zWhenconnectingafiber,avoidbendingthefibertoa
largeangle;otherwise,thefiberwouldbedamaged.
TomounttheSFPopticalmodule(forexample:two‐fiber
bidirectional),performthefollowingsteps:
1. Removetheslotdustproofcover.
2. InserttheSFPopticalmodulerecommendedbyour
company.

FordetailsaboutrecommendedSDcardspecifications,
contactsalesortechnicalsupportpersonnel.TheSDcard
usestheFAT32filesystem,andsupportsonlyonepartition.
