basic setup for building connection with the camera. For other advanced software settings,
such as Motion Detection, Email Alarm, FTP Settings, please find corresponding instruction in

Physical Description
1.Start Installation of the Camera
You can install the camera by a smartphone/tablet (Android or iOS) as a recommended option,
or by a PC (Windows or Mac OS). Please refer to the guide for smartphone/tablet installation
on chapter 2, or PC installation on chapter 3 after completing first step on hardware installation.
Hardware installation
Mount the Wi-Fi antenna and make it stand vertically.
Connect the camera’s DC socket with the power adapter for power up.
Connect the camera to the router with Ethernet cable (If you want to use the camera with
wireless, then please don’t connect the Ethernet cable, just power line is enough)
Use a network cable to hook the camera to a router.

Notes:
During the first installation, you need to use wired network connection with Ethernet cable
even for Wi-Fi setup.
2.Smart Phone Installation Method
This camera can only connect to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks, so please ensure that your phone is
connected to the same2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network if the router is dual-band.
Download and Install the App
Search “CamHi Pro”on App Store/Google Play, or scan the QR code to download CamHi Pro
App and install it on your phone/tablet.

One key to configure WiFi
After install the mobile app, the mobile phone connected to WiFi, the camera will have a WiFi
Hot Spot which name is “IPCXXXXX”, and the password is “01234567”, connect your phone
to this WiFi,click add camera--Search Camera From LAN, it will find the camera, select the
camera, it will add the camera automatically.

Click the “Setting” icon to set the camera to connect your Wireless Router.
Click “Wi-Fi” Setting-”Wi-Fi MANAGER”, Select your Wireless Router SSID, input the
password to finish the setup.

After this, the camera will connect the internet via your wireless router.
Note: I f you have any question during the setup, please connect our technical support.
Add Camera
1.1 LAN Search
Click to add camera, change to add camera interface, type in camera name,click
Search Camera from LAN button, search the network camera in the mobile phone wireless
network; Select the UID;
Enter the camera password (default is admin)
Click the done button on the upper right corner.
1.2 Scan QR Code
If the camera has a QR code sticker which use this UID, click Scan QR Code button to
scan the bar code to add camera.
Delete Camera
Hold the camera, it will prompt “Are you sure you want to remove this camera”, click
“Ok” to delete the camera
View the video
After add the camera for a few seconds, waiting the camera connected successfully,
when prompt online instructions, it means you can view the camera video now:
Camera status illustration:
Connecting: Now the camera is connecting with network, according to different network,
it costs different time;
Online: It means the device connected normally, click to view the video.
Congratulations!
Now you have successfullycompleted the installation of the camera on your smartphone/tablet.
You can take time to view the camera immediately. For other advanced software settings, such
as motion detection Alarm Settings, Email Settings, Video Settings, please refere to the user
manual in the CD-ROM in details.
3.Personal Computer Installation Method
If you want to install the camera by a computer for the first time, please follow the below
instructions after you have finished the hardware installation.

Install Search Tool on the computer
Install “Search Tool” from the software CD, there will be a shortcut on the desktop after
installation.
Login the camera and change the default password
Run “Search Tool”, and then click “ Next”, the camera which isconnected on thenetwork will be
detected and listed in the window automatically along with its UID, IP and MAC address.
Double click the camera on the list to view in Internet Explorer (IE 11, IE 10 or other browsers)
on computer.
If Microsoft Edge pops up as default browser, go to “More”Open with Internet Explorer”.
Enter default username “admin” and default password “admin” to login the camera. Usually a
message about installing plugin will prompt. Click the button “ install” following the messege
for plugin installation. After successfully installing the plugin, you will be back to login window
again. Please re-enter the username and password for login.
※For security, the camera will ask for changing new password. Please input a new password
to login the camera. Then you will see the live view window of the camera in the browser.
Now you have succeeded in accessing in the camera by wired connection via PC. Just leave all
the menus alone before you finish the Wi-Fi setup.
Note: The password is case sensitive.
Wi-Fi/Wireless Connection Setup via Web Browser
Click the menu Settings on the top of the live view window, and go to the option Network--
>Wireless, then select Enable on the option of Enable Wireless, then click Search button to
search the SSID of the router which your computer is connected to. All the SSID of routers
nearby will be list on the bottom of the window

Find and select the SSID belongs to your router, click Join button in front of the SSID. Enter
wireless security key password twice. Then click Apply button to enable and save the wireless
settings.
After finishing wireless setup, please close the browser, and then unplug the Ethernet cable
and wait for around 30 seconds to get the camera reconnected by Wi-Fi connection.
Refresh the Search Tool to wait the camera shows up again on the window. And login in the
camera again with new password. Now you have completed the wireless settings
successfully.
The LANIPofwireless connection is different from LAN IP of wired connection. That is why we
need to refresh the Search Tool to research the camera in wireless connection mode.
Remote Access Settings via Web Browser. You needn’t do any additional setup on
smartphone/tablet because the App is integrated with P2P technology which allows remotely
accessing to the camera automatically using the UID of the camera.
If you want to access to the camera remotely in browser on computer outside the LAN, you
have to do Remote Access Settings via browser. Here are additional instructions on how to do
Remote Access Settings.
Enable UPNP in Camera Configuration.
Go to the menu Settings on the top of the live view window, and go to Network->DDNS-
>UPNP. Select enable, and then click Apply button to save and apply.
Notes: Please make sure your router enabled the UPNP firstly.

Get the WAN IP Address of the Camera.
Go to the option DDNS, then click Show (internet IP Address), then it will show the WAN IP
address of the camera (which is the WAN IP of the router too).
Access the camera by WAN IP Address + Camera Port via Browser.
Take WAN IP 22.123.66.168 for example.
If the HTTP port number of the camera is 80, the access link of the camera via internet would
be http:// 22.123.66.168 or http:// 22.123.66.168:80
If the HTTP port number of the camera is 88, the access link of the cameravia internet would
be http:// 22.123.66.168:88.
Note: If the WAN IP + Camera port link of the camera does not work, it is
probably caused the UPNP settings. You should access to your router
management and setup port forwarding first.

Now you have successfully completed the installation of the camera on your computer.
You can take time to view the camera immediately. For other advanced software settings, such
as motion detection Alarm Settings, Email Settings, Video Settings, please refer to the user
manual in the CD-ROM.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: Why does the program prompt me “wrong password” even I tried
different usernames and password several times?

A1: The original username and password are both "admin" (lowercase, no capital letters) as
factory default setting.
If the camera has been installed before, enter new username and password changed. As some
iOS phones may automatically change the initial letter as capital, make sure to disable this
function before entering.
Only the password has been changed after the first installation, the username is still remained
as “admin” as it is not available to changeusername in App.
Q2: If I forget my username/password, how can I reset the camera to
resume factory defaults?
A2: Please press the reset button on the cable and hold on for 10 seconds for reset. The power
should be on during reset operation.

Important Security Warnings
In order to keep your camera secure and prevent unauthorized access, please never use the
default password for your camera. Always ensure your password is at least 8-10 characters
long and contains a combination of lowercase characters, uppercase characters as well as
numbers.

5Camera Connection and Installation
To make your experience with the our camera easy and simple, we've provided multiple ways
to set up, view, and operate your camera as on your needs. Please set up your camera in the
way that works best for you.
5.1 Connection Guide
This camera can be accessed via web browser on computer or “CamHiPro” App on smartphone
or tablet. Before access, you should connect the camera to your router via Ethernet cable or
Wi-Fi after it is powered on.
5.2 Installation Guide
The camera has a standard camera tripod screw hole (1/4-20 UNC thread) for use in mounting
the camera onto a stable surface.
Note: Prior to installation ensure that the installation environment can support at least 3 times
the weight of the camera.

5.3 Default Username and Password
To login to the system for the first time, use one of the following default username/password
combinations. Once you’ve successfully logged in, it is highly recommended to change the
password for security reasons.
Username: admin Password: admin
Note:Changing the password for admin account is necessary with prompt during initial setup.
The password is case sensitive.
If you forget the username/password, or fail to login the camera with any
usernames/passwords you know, please hold on the hard reset button of the device for 10
seconds to reset it at status of power on. And then do initial setup.
In addition, the computer client HIP2P, Username: admin Password: space (only one character)
6 Access theCamera
6.1 Web Browser Access on Computer
This camera can be accessed via the web browser on windows.The complete and all advanced
functions of the camera are available to be acquired by accessing via web browser.
6.1.1 Search Tool for Windows OS
To easily search and access the camera in web browser of Windows OS, please install the
“Search Tool” for Windows OS from the software CD.
Before running the search tool, please ensure:
-The camera is power on and connected to the router via an Ethernet cable or Wi-Fi.
-The camera and the PC are on the same local network.
Use IE/Chrome/Firefox/Safari on Windows OS.

You can also change some camera’s network configurations and camera name through the
Search Tool after inputting the correct username and password.
Please remind that the login Username and Password of the camera are not available to
change in below blanks of the Search Tool. There is an entry to changing the username and
password in web browser after access.

6.1.2Local Access via Web Browser
Run the search tool and click “Next” to search cameras on the LAN. After the device is found
and listed in the search result window, double click on the device item to open a web browser
for viewing the camera on computer. If Microsoft Edge pops up as default browser, go to
“More”->”Open with Internet Explorer” for normal viewing.
Or you can open the web browser first, put the IP address and port number of the camera in
the URL blank of the browser by manual to login your camera.
For example: http://192.168.1.147:80.
The IP Address and HTTP port number of the camera are displayed on the list of the Search
Tool. Usually the default HTTP port No. is 80.
When opening the camera’s interface, the browser like IE on Windows OS will prompt you to install
a plugin. The plugins are necessary to get videofrom camera.
Click the button “install” to download and install the plugin. If the browser prompts you to allow the
plugin to work on the computer, click “Allow” to ensure the plugin can run successfully.
Then the camera is now successfully set up for live viewing, playback and configuration!

Note: Due to the limitations of NPAPI plugins, the web browser of Chrome/Safari/Firefoxdoes
not support the setting features of playback, talk, motion-detection and privacy mask.
6.1.3 Remote Web Access
You can access the camera remotely via web browser using UPnP/DDNS functionality or Port
Forwarding.
Before using UPnP/DDNS functionality, ensure your router should support the uPnP networking
protocol and the protocol should be enabled. Please refer to your router manufacturer’s
documentation to learn how to enable UPnP.
And then login the camera via web browser, go to the “Config” ->”Network”->”DDNS” page to
enable the UPnP and enter the information of athird-party’s DDNS, such as “Dyndns.org”,
“3322.org”, “dynddns.us”, or “No-ip.com”. Click Apply to save the settings. Then you can
access the camera by DDNS remotely.

Port Forwarding is another method to set up remote access. It is required to make settings
on both camera and router. Please refer to the corresponding documentation provided by
the manufacturer or from the FAQ area of the support center on our website to learn the
detail instruction.
6.2 NVR access
The camera can connect to any NVR that supports ONVIF protocol. This allows the camera to
view live, playback and record to a network storage device.
6.3 RTSP access
The camera supports standard RTSP, you can access its video and audio directly by RTSP
player such as VLC. Please make sure you enabled the RTSP feature in the Camera Setups
before viewing the camera in web browser.
