PREPARATION
Battery charging:
Connect the included power cable to the port of the sound system ~220-240V 50/60Hz (29), blue
charging mode indicator CHARGING (25) will light up.
Battery should be charged for approximately 8 to 12 hours. When battery has fully charged, red
indicator FULL (24) will light up.
If the battery has run out of charge, switch off the sound system immediately (set the
POWER (27) switch to OFF (CHARGING) and charge the battery of the sound system by
connecting it to the mains supply.
Low battery manifests itself through sound distortions and reduction in volume.
If the sound system is switched on during the charging (the POWER (27) switch is set to
ON/AC), the battery charge time will be longer.
To extend the service life of the battery, never leave it uncharged.
If you will not use the sound system for a long time, charge the battery every 3 months.

CONNECTING AN EXTERNAL 12V DC POWER SUPPLY
The sound system can run from an external DC power supply unit with an output voltage of
12-15V, and a power of at least 80W.
Before feeding the sound system from an external power supply unit, disconnect the power cord
from the socket ~220V-240V 50/60 Hz (29).
Observing the polarity is important when connecting cables. Incorrect polarity can damage
your sound system or other equipment!
Connect the ʺ+ʺ output lead of the external power supply unit to the red terminal of BATTERY
12V INPUT (26), and the ʺ-ʺ lead, to the black terminal.
Then, set the POWER (27) switch to ON/DC.
Do not connect other electric devices (e.g. a 12V lamp) to the BATTERY 12V INPUT (26)
terminals of the sound system.
USE
Switching on:
The sound system can be powered in two ways:
1) from a 230V, ~50/60Hz mains supply (set the POWER (27) switch to ON/AC),
2) from a 12V battery (set the POWER (27) switch to ON/DC).
Volume adjustment:
The sound system has two volume controllers:
a) VOLUME (21), adjusts (limits) the maximum volume.
b) digital controller with buttons [ ] (15), [ ](17) and remote control buttons [VOL-],
[VOL+].
You can turn the volume down or up by pressing and holding the button [ ] (15) or [ ](17).
It is recommended to set the digital volume controller at the level of increased or maximum
volume and to change the required volume by using the controller VOLUME (21).
Equalizer (in USB/SD/Bluetooth)
During playback of digital records (e. g. MP3), you can change equalizer modes by pressing the
[EQ] button on the remote: NOR > ROCK > POP > CLAS > JAZZ > COUN.
For the best possible sound, appropriate equalizer mode must be selected for the style of
each track.
Playback of digital records:
1. Place USB ash memory or SD memory card with MP3/FLAC/WMA/WAV records in the
respective port.
If USB ash memory or SD memory card is placed or removed from sound system that is
switched on, damage to information and/or device is possible!
2. Switch on the sound system by using the switch POWER (27). Playback of digital record will
start.
- If another mode has been used previously ("Linein", "BlueTooth", FM), push the key [MODE]
(13) or [MODE] on the remote), choose USB/SD mode (" " or " " on display).
- Switch on or cancel the playback pause mode with the key [ ] (16).

to begin connection in pair and establish a connection. After successful connection in pair,
the sound system conrms establishment of connection with sound signal.
e. If necessary, enter the default password "0000" (or other depending on the version of
your mobile device or software version).
• Use control elements of the Bluetooth device to select the track, playback mode and set
the initial volume (see the mobile device user's manual).
• If the previous connection of Bluetooth device has been with "LIBERATOR", next
connection will be automatic.

- 5 -
• Compatibility may not be provided for the Bluetooth devices to be manufactured in the future.
• In order to provide optimum connection, make sure the battery of your Bluetooth device
has been fully charged.
• Some Bluetooth devices have energy saving mode. Deactivate energy saving mode,
since it may cause data transmission disturbances.
• In case of incoming call to the connected smartphone, music playback is paused.
