5 Do not use this apparatus near water.
6 Clean only with dry cloth.

9 Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched
particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the
point where they exit from the apparatus.
10 Only use attachments/accessories specied by the
manufacturer.
11 Use only with the cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table
specied by the manufacturer, or sold with the apparatus
When a cart is used, use caution when moving the cart/
apparatus combination to avoid injury from tip-over.
12 Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when
unused for long periods of time.
13 Refer all servicing to qualied service personnel.
Servicing is required when the apparatus has been
damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug
is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen
into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to
rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been
dropped.

Cautions about Batteries
This product uses batteries. Misuse of batteries could
cause a leak, rupture or other trouble. Always abide by the
following precautions when using batteries.
・ When installing batteries, pay attention to the polarity
indications (plus/minus (+/–) orientation), and install
them correctly in the battery compartment as indicated.
Putting them in backward could make the batteries
rupture or leak, causing re, injury or stains around them.
・ When you store or dispose of batteries, isolate their
terminals with insulation tape or something like that to
prevent them from contacting other batteries or metallic
objects.
・ When throwing used batteries away, follow the disposa
instructions indicated on the batteries and the local
disposal laws.
・ If the battery uid leaks, wipe away any uid on the
battery case before inserting new batteries. If the battery
uid gets in an eye, it could cause loss of eyesight. If
uid does enter an eye, wash it out thoroughly with
clean water without rubbing the eye and then consult a
doctor immediately. If the uid gets on a person’s body
or clothing, it could cause skin injuries or burns. If this
should happen, wash it o with clean water and then
consult a doctor immediately.

batteries.

The supplied batteries are intended only to conrm their
primary operation checking. Not intended for a long time usage.
Press the power button for one second to turn on the camera.
Use "Selection Button" and select General Settings. Select "Date and Time"and use
the △ buttons to adjust the date and time ,then press the "OK" button to conrm.

Camera is now set to shoot still images.

Connect the Video cable (supplied) into the video jack on
the camera, and connect into the video jack on the TV. Turn
the power on.
To view images on a TV,press the "MENU" button and choose "Video
output" from shooting condition setting menu,and select NTSC or PAL.
Choose the standard to that used by your TV.
※ When connected to the TV, the images will not be displayed
on the LCD screen.

Access the URL(http://www.zoocam.jp/) to down load the
"PC VIEWER".
When viewing the images in the camera on your computer

the eect of the images. Press the " " button to select the

instructions on the screen, and install the "PC VIEWER" to
your computer.

Trouble Shooting
①Remove the batteries for about one minute and
put them back in, and then turn the power on.

・ See if the batteries are installed correctly.
・ Batteries run. Replace the batteries.

Cannot play
・ Some data cannot be played if their folder/le name was changed on the computer.
・ Images that are processed/edited on the computer or other devices are not
guaranteed playable on this camera. Images that are processed/edited on the

"Selection" button for the General settings.

Safety Precautions
1. Do not use or store the camera in the places listed below
・ Places where temperatures and/or humidity are exceedingly high or low
・ Places with direct sunlight and near heat sources
・ Places prone to extreme vibrations
・ Strong magnetic eld
・ Dusty and sandy places where micro powder ies
・ Places where the camera could get wet
2. Handling Precautions
・ Keep the camera away from high pressure or vibrations
3. Camera Care
・ Wipe gently with the Cleaning Cloth to clean the LCD screen.
・ Wipethe exteriorwithasoftdampcloth,and thendryitwith a dry cloth.
Do not use any chemicals such as paint thinner, benzine, and alcohol.
This will worsen and discolor the exterior.
4. Precautions for Dew
・ Sudden temperature change from cold place to warm place might
cause the dew in the inside/outside of the camera.
Do not use when dew appears, it might cause the breakage.
Leave the camera unused for about one hour until it dries out
completely.
5. Do not look directly into the LED light.
It may injure your eyes.
Using AC Adaptor and Strap.
To supply power to your camera, connect the USB cable to the AC
adaptor (supplied), and then connect them to the camera's USB
jack.
Use the " " button on the "Selection" button to choose "USB
POWER", and then press the "OK" button. (※ From USB port on
your computer is also supplide power.)
When putting the strap (supplied), remove the battery box cover,
and hook the string of the strap onto the notch on the back.
