Dev Board User Guide
1. OVERVIEW
1.1. INTRODUCTION TO THE DVK(DEVELOPMENT KIT)
The GE2015 Dev Board provides a complete solution based on the data functions of the CDMA, GSM, WCDMA and LTE modules for debugging and testing. With an
extra interface board, the Dev Board not only educes all module function pins (such as power supply, UART, USB and so on), but also adds right amount of testing points to
provide all kinds of simple and convenient interfaces for users.
For designers who adopt the module in their designs, the Dev Board facilitates their module-based programming and troubleshooting at the project development
stage. In order to facilitate and simplify the use of Dev Board, and support kinds of modules, we use the jumpers as less as possible, and reserve the interfaces as more as
possible, to meet the requirement of plug and play.
The Dev Board provides the following interfaces:
◆One RS232 4-wires UART, one 2-wires debug UART
◆One SPI to UART interface
◆Two UART to USB interface
◆Can adapt to 1.8V/3.3V level
◆Power supply can be switched between USB supply and DC power supply
Recommended power supply: 5V/1.5-2.0A DC.
1.2. COMPONENTS OF THE DVK
Check the components and their quantities after you obtain GE2015 DVK. If any component is missing or damaged, contact with your DVK supplier. Table below lists
the components of the DVK.
