SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
PLAY . ENJOY . BOND
• Learn and practice skills to rescue yourself and others.
• Learn the proper treatment of hypothermia and take a first aid
class if possible.
• Purchase and get proficient at using self-rescue aids.
• Recognize your level of experience and consult with a physician to
know whether you can paddle and how long you can do it.
• Keep an eye on the up-to-date weather forecast.
• Paddling on somewhere that matches your skills, knowledge, and
fitness.
• Tell your schedule to others: when, where, and how long you are
going to paddle.
• Go with a friend as much as possible.
• Do not take alcohol or mind-altering drugs before paddling.
Adequate preparation is critical to safepad-
dling. Before paddling, you should equip
yourself with enough self-rescue techniques,
learn as much as you can about the route and
any hazards, get an up-to-date weather
forecast.
Warning: MINORS MUST BE SUPERVISED AT ALL TIMES!

Before Paddling

Please follow the guidelines when paddling.
When Paddling • Wear a leash all the time in case of a fall.
• Wear slip-resistant footwear all the time.
• Wear a PFD (Personal Flotation Device) that is Coast Guard
approved.
4
• You can keep balance on a paddleboard by:
√ Standing at the center of the board about shoulder-width apart,
positioning your feet so that they are parallel, with knees slightly
bent and your back straight.
√ Keeping your gaze level at the horizon.
• To hold the paddle properly, you should hold it with the blade
sloping away from you. Please grip the top of the paddle with one
hand, place another hand about 24 inches (24”) below the shaft.
• If you’re paddling on the right, your left hand must be on the top
of the grip, and vice-versa.
• Wear a wetsuit or dry suit during cold weather.
• Carry a whistle so that you can send signals at any time.
• Carry a waterproof flashlight so that you can ask for help when
needed.
• Do not paddle at sunset.
• Avoid riding the equipment on shallow water because it may
damage fins.
The most basic skill is to use your core rather
than your arms. Try to twist your torso and
use your core muscles rather than pulling
yourself with the sole strength of your arms.
Please follow the suggestions instructed about
how to keep balance, hold the paddle, and
control the direction.

ASSEMBLY
Before Assembling
Assembly Instructions
The very first step is to inspect and tighten the valve as per the following steps. Please understand that although our factory
inflates each piece of equipment for more than 24 hours to ensure it is in good condition before sending the item out, the valve
may still get loose in transit, which is out of our control. For your safety, please inspect and tighten the valve each time
before using the SUP.
Please follow the guidelines below before the assembly.
We will introduce the steps to inflate the paddle board, assemble the accessories and seat (if there is), as well as the method to
lock your Zupapa® inflatable SUP.
1. Check and confirm you have all the listed parts according to the chapter Parts List. If you need any replacement(s), feel free to
reach out to Zupapa® Customer Happiness Executives with the ORDER NUMBER, PART NUMBER, REQUIRED QUANTITY for each
part, and photos (or video clips if applicable)
2. Inspect and tighten the valve in the way introduced in Step 1 of the Assembly Instructions.
3. Install the Foot Bar before inflating the paddle board
9
STEP 1 – INSPECT THE VALVE

a. Place the wrench tool into the core of the valve.
Details of the Valve
10
b. Tighten the valve by turning
the wrench tool clockwise.
Message Zupapa Customer Happiness Executives if you need more help or have any concerns.
IMPORTANT
c. The work is done when you can NOT move the tool. You can also re-confirm it by pouring some soapy water to see if it leaks.

STEP 2 – INFLATE THE PADDLE BOARD
Find the tips and the detailed steps to inflate the SUP from here.
Tips!
1. You can turn the electric pump into an inflatable SUP pump with
the Pump Adapter (in the Tool Kit).
11
2. About the PSI reading. It should NOT be over 15 PSI. The pump shows no reading for 0-5 PSI (see fig.1). The 12-13 PSI is
recommended for hot weather while it can be up to 15 PSI in cool weather (see fig.2 and fig.3)
Let’s inflate the paddle board.
a. Connect the hose with the pump where the “IN” is on.
b. Turn the valve anticlockwise.
c. Ensure the stem (the white part) is locked (up).
d. Connect the other end of the hose to the core of the valve, and turn the lock clockwise.
e. When inflating, you can change the pumping system by adjusting the Green Lever (see below). When the reading shows
from 0 – 8 PSI, we recommend you turn the Green Lever left to the SINGLE ACTION so that it would inflate to 15 PSI
much easier; when the reading is over 8 PSI, it would inflate faster if you turn it right to the DOUBLE ACTION.

1415
c. Fix the completed paddle to the
shoulder strap by sticking the Velcro.

Congratulations! Your Zupapa inflatable SUP without a seat is ready to go!

STEP 4 – ASSEMBLE THE KAYAK SEAT

a. Place the seat on the board.
b. Tie the two lower straps with the two D rings behind the backrest. See fig. b below.
c. Tie the two upper straps with the two D rings beside the seat. See fig. c below.
• You can get a comfortable seat by adjusting the straps.
• Please do NOT sit on the SUP when it is still on the ground and with the fins
assembled, because it may damage the item, which will also void the warranty.

With the board inflated and the valve closed, please rinse the board with fresh water and dry it out before moving to the next step.

a. Push down the white stem slowly so that the air inside would not ruin the valve’s internal mechanism.

For a safer operation, instead of pressing down the white stem immediately, please follow the steps below to deflate the board:
STEP 3 – DEFLATE THE BOARD
