Scooting is a great activity but must be done safely. Read the
below safety and maintenance tips and ensure that your child is
alert and aware when scooting outdoors and that your scooter is
in good condition.
please read these instructions before
first using your scooter!
Riders should develop riding ability in a small private area first prior
to scooting in a public place. This will help to ensure they do not
endanger themselves or others whilst in motion

Practice makes perfect!
Adult setup required
Each time the scooter is used the scooter should be set up correctly.
Ensure adjustments clamps, buttons and fasteners are suciently
tightened and secured. Failure to do so could result in injury!

Protective equipment should be worn at all times
i.e. a helmet, gloves, knee-pads, and elbow-pads

Do not scoot on dangerous paths such as oily, wet,
sandy, frozen or very uneven surfaces

Speed
We recommend that you should not go any faster than
5km per hour in order to prevent accidents

inclines & declines
Avoid steep inclines and declines - the brakes may not
be eective due to excessive momentum on slopes

Do not ride in the rain as this could cause the scooter
to slip / loose traction and will decrease brake
eectiveness

Do not allow your child to ride the scooter in low
light conditions unsupervised and without high-vis attire

Wheels & Brakes
Wheels and brakes should be checked regularly for
signs of excessive wear and any loss of grip/eectiveness
Scooter Bolts
Scooter bolts should be checked monthly to ensure
none have loosened from travel vibration or weathering
wear & tear
If a wheel or bearing develops play, this is an indication
of excess wear and a replacement is required
!
modifications
Do not make any changes or modifications to the
scooter, doing so will invalidate the scooter’s warranty

Setting Up Your Scooter

from its holding
recess, allowing you
to pull up the
handles
Pull up on scooter
release pump & hold
in open position
Open handle lock
mechanism by flipping
up the lever

mechanism by flipping
down the lever
Lift scooter handles to
up position. Scooter
lock mechanism will
fall into its locked
position

Setting up The Seat
Swivel the seat around
so that it is inline with
the deck
Position the seat so that its guiding
notch allows it to fall correctly into
position on top of the holding ring

Slide handlebars to
required height,

locks into place

Holding the handles,
push the holding
button in fully. Lift up
to remove the
handles and Clamp
from the main stem
Lift the scooter seat
up o the holding
ring and up o of
the main stem
Place these to one
side, take care to
keep the Clamp
holding screw

Place the Collar
Clamp back onto the
handle stem above
the holding button
Push the Holding
button in and push
the handle stem down
into the main stem
Place the handle stem
back into the top of the
main stem, taking care
to line up the holding
button with the holes on
the side of the stem

The button should
spring out into a
locked position at
the first hole. (Don't
be afraid to give it a
wiggle to get it
seated)
Place the screw back
in and tighten to
secure the Collar
Clamp once more.
You are now ready to
go!
On the side opposite
to the holding button,
line up the Collar
Clamp with the main
stem recess groove
and push into place
